The way you had that worded, I thought you were referring to the comedy movie King Ralph. While I realize with a simple glance that is not what you meant (plus it not England you refered to), well..
How about it, a King Ralph/Love Hina crossover or fusion.
I can think of a couple different scenarios
MolMol with Ralph as King, having taken over several years earlier.
Alternatively, MolMol without a king (big brother gone as well, and perhaps Amalla), and it being some wierd law there must be a king, not a prince, or princess.
Alternatively, Ralph as King of england still, and instead of Zambeze, it is MolMol he has to deal with, and Su/Keitaro reps, or Hinata as the negotiations site.

Yes, Granny Hina is actually an evil old woman
She insisted on Keitaro taking over the Inn so the girls would suffer many indignities.
She changed the identity of the "Promise Girl" to Naru just so Keitaro would be beaten.
A dark ideas to be sure, but hey, it could work if someone was able to give her House quality dialogue and something that made the others put up with her.
Like what? ..... Money? Perhaps she's stinking rich - like Yoshitaka from He is My Master...
Or maybe she's related to the Imperial family?
I dunno, I'm just making this shit up as I go!

Next up: What if Molmolian males were also affected by the Red Moon? Perhaps they found themselves extra fertile? Maybe instead of aging, they "de-age" ?

Having Tsuroko married to Vash would explain her hatred of men... hey, he may be a pacifist but he is a womanizer.
Alucard? sheer wtf factor, but it could be done; though, it would end up with Motoko afraid of men, not hating them... or maybe she is but she seems other men as weaker than her and therefore not threatening and takes out her frustration on them.

Technically speaking Keitaro isn't that bad off finacially. He legally owns the Hinata Sou IIRC, and with what land costs in Japan that means Granny Hina left him a healthy nest egg to keep warm in his lap. In fact Kitsune could use that for her argument on his suitability as a husband. He already owns the Inn where she lives, and the Hinata Sou isn't that small to begin with, has its own onsen, etc. Konno-chan is just manipulative enough to spin things to make Keitaro look like gold, especially when compared the the mental instability of the Kuno family.
Something that was inspired by the Nude Hina thread.
What if Naru was an attention whore?
While it has been stated that she likes being the centre of Keitaro's attention, what if she started to crave it like it was an addiction and starts to do more and more outlandish things to get and keep it?
Things like "accidentally" leaving her underwear out in plain sight while studying with Keitaro in her room.
I know that it will be considered OoC by some, if not all of you, but them's the breaks.
Of course, one question that arises is "what do the others think about this?"
Is it a change in Naru's behaviour? Perhaps she did silly things in an attempt to get Seta's attention?
You know, falling down and showing him what colour her panties are.
And what of Kitsune and Kaolla? They're not exactly shy when it comes to their bodies, and they both like Keitaro.

Depends on how you write it I guess. If you give sufficient reason why so and so character is OOC, than that would be fine. After all, a little OOCness is fine.

Attention whore, like in His and Her Circumstances? Meh... I could sorta see that, but you'd have to write it from her perspective, preening at the attention, and worrying that she's not getting enough.
There IS a nice progression from LH to H&HC to Onegai Teacher if you think in terms of adult relationship questions. The spats in OT are surprisingly TRUE to reality. So it could make sense, just adds another dimension to Naru's motivations. And makes her that much more childish, actually.

After writing some more for Smell the Glove, I was struck by the idea of "What if Haruka had a slightly different relationship with Keitaro?"
In that Haruka had decided a while ago that:
