Ever read SexyLosers? Remember the two-parter where the dude from Seduction of Madame X (I forget his name, and the SexyLosers site isn't loading right now) went on the talk show to suggest a parody/sequel to Kenta's Horny Mom with the roles reversed (dad hitting on his daughter), and how he wound up getting tossed in the garbage - twice? Yeah, people could care less about older woman/younger man, but the other way around can get you creamed (and not in the good way).
Sexy Losers was one of my favourite webcomics, though I prefered the earlier name of "The Thin H Line".
On a vaguely related note, have any of you read Heartbroken Angels? I recommend it if you can find sexual deviancy funny.

The younger Urashima nodded and started to clear the nearest table. ôWonÆt the landlord want to meet me?ö
ôYouÆve already met her, Keitaro you smooth-talking playboy. I didnÆt expect you to pick up Shinobu-chan,ö the smoker teased. ôAnd to cheat on Kitsune-chanà Damn you are a playboy, arenÆt you? Have you got any idea what sheÆll say when she finds out youÆve been talking to other women?ö
ôBut I wasnÆt doing anything wrong! I was only helping her with her shopping because she said sheÆd bring me here!ö the increasingly flustered Keitaro protested.

I sincerely urge you to take up this idea, post-haste, Lord Raa!
And maybe sprinkle some extra Shinobu-traits on chibi-Keitaro? Being generally insecure about himself, prone to crying etc. might stir some motherly instincts among the tenants.. Plus it'd be hilarious to see Motoko or Naru scare him with their pervert-tirade and reduce him to that sobbing puppy-eye look that Shinobu so frequently used, and got him into trouble with

Depends. If it was an underaged girl, it will always be rape, I suppose. If it was an boy, there is probably a 50% chance that it will either be classified as rape or the ultimate wet dream fantasy fulfilled.
I daresay a younger male/older female relationship will be looked upon with less derision/contempt than the reverse. So my answer to your question would be yes. It would still be a tad disturbing, but much less so. At least for me.

I have some more news for those that are interested in this idea.
One: I has a title for it.....
Two: I is thinking of making it a lime. Maybe even lemon for certain scenes...
Three: I was thinking of making more changes to Keitaro's family. Some of these changes may or may not make certain residents wish that their ages were closer....

This one is basically a "what if Kitsune's family were traditionally minded like Motoko's and she had to escape an unwanted arranged marriage?"
We don't know much about Kitsune's family, so it's not outside the realm of possibility that she's been granted a lot of freedom or that she decided that she wants to make a life for herself without her oppressive family suffocating her.
The potential suitors would be like Kuno. Yeah, sure he's stinking rich, but would you want to deal with his idiocy everyday.
And that's assuming that he's faithful to her and not chasing after other women like that mysterious pigtailed girl, or worse still - Motoko.
Keitaro Urashima might be a clumsy pauper, but he's not Tatewaki Kuno.
And that's a big plus if you ask me.

That many losers in one place bothers me, I'd rather they just come up in conversations, with perhaps only one or two actually appearing.
You know, considering personalities and the story, this would make Kitsuni somewhat like Amane Calnok(sp?) from Tenchi GXP. She was described as having been set up with a bunch of losers by her family before she went into the GP. And let us not forget Serio (a Kuno wannabe if there ever was one).

I have had the idea of Keitaro/Kitsune omiai, but it involves Keitaro's mom and Kitsune's mom making a promise when they were young, something along the lines of "one day, let's get our children married". And while Kitsune wouldn't be against it ("Well, at least it's Keitaro, this can't be that bad"), Keitaro could be more troubled (""But I had a promise to go to Toudai! But then, my mom also had a promise. And you can't break it just like that. What do I do?")
