<a href='http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/10/story-my-little-avengers.html' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>My Little Avengers</a> is a pretty good Marvel crossover if I do say so myself. The hamminess of THORcintosh is simply infectious. The author says he'll be using side characters as Avenger expies, which I am very much in favor of. Note the character tags: Blueblood, Spitfire, and Caramel. Equestria Daily hasn't quite updated to Chapter 6 yet, but it's been already posted on <a href='http://forums.spacebattles.com/showpost.php?p=6763456&postcount=154' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>spacebattles.</a> Koolerkid updates very quickly, I highly recommend this fic.
I'm thinking Blueblood will be Iron Mane (Iron Colt?)
Spitfire might fit as Wasp.
Not too sure about Caramel though.

Nightmare Moon-chan survives, wins, and is not what errypony expected, least of all Twilight Sparkle.
I always have a soft spot for unexpectedly good bad guys so this fic is a must read if you're into that.

The ending is roughly the same, but the journey to it amused me infinitely more.
The guy who did it also does his own version of MLP: Abridged. First few episodes aren't great, but like all abridged series, he managed to hit his stride later on. Considering he's the primary VA for all of the cast... pretty impressive.
Nice to know that Rarity DOES have family. A lot of 'fic writers have either assumed they were dead, ignored their existance or non-existance entirely, or went the route of "Rarity is 'secretly' Sweetie Bell's Mom".
It also indicates we might be seeing the rest of the families of the other Mane 6.
Though, the new opening has brought up an interesting Fridge Logic moment: In the background as Twilight gets off the balloon, we see a train with a pony as a proper engineer. Yet, in the previous season, we saw four ponies pulling a train.
I have to wonder if they'd taken to pulling the train because the Buffalo were able to disable the train if it was using it's normal coal or if it was to keep the surrounding air clean for their cargo (the apple tree).
