I'm looking for a fic where Naruto has some sort of platonic relationship with B early on (before the chuunin exams), and teamed up with a younger Samui (who is B's apprentice) to get through the chuunin exams alive.

I'm looking for an old Naruto and Percy Jackson crossover that had Naruto have amnesia and Mokuton. I remember that Konoha is looking for him and are surprised that he has Mokuton and that Naruto has forgotten them.

I don't remember if it ever explained why he had amnesia though.

There was a one- or two-shot story in a collection of shorts where Naruto was the Doom Space-Marine. I'd like to re-read it with the new Doom released...

Looking for a story. Just remember bits and pieces of it. Kyuubi was a female. Naruto decides to marry her but she wont until he is strong enough. The Kyuubi hasn't been split in half either by the sealing. Hidan is actually possessed by a a piece of the Juubi from when it split into its little minions while fighting the sage. Naruto kidnaps him and experiments on him trying to figure out his immortality. Naruto and Kyuubi are exposed by Kiba because he see's Kyuubi's tails while Naruto is in a coma.

They both leave Konoha, and somewhere along the line Madara gets resurrected and tries to get to Naruto by killing Tsunade, Ayame, Tenten, Hinata, and Sakura (who Naruto thinks of as his little sisters).

Naruto and Madara finally fight at the Valley of the End, and Madara has become the eight-tails jinchuuriki, but Naruto has the Gedo Statue in him after Kyuubi takes up residence in it.

Naruto beats Madara, and Kyuubi becomes the new Juubi and drains the chakra of everyone in the world, thereby getting rid of it.

I remember quite a bit more but hopefully that's enough.

It's Noodlehammer's first Naruto fic, Reaching for a Dream. There are also sequels that are crossovers with the DCAU, Sekirei, and Stargate SG1, in that order.

That probably is the darkest part of the first fic. Naruto spent most of the fic being fairly above his opponent's in power, to the point where even his fight against Kakuzu and Hidan doesn't really pressure him much.

But then Uchiha Madara gets revived, and things get kind of desperate until the final battle.

It's not a bad fic, tbh. The author's use of Fuinjutsu as the "magical solution to all of life's problems" (and that's a direct quote, by the way) gets a little grating, but the style of humour is fairly amusing (though of course ymmv,) and IMO he doesn't have Naruto's strength progression be too ridiculous.

Of course, in the sequels it's God Mode all the way, with Naruto and *spoiler* just screwing with people for their own amusement.

This isn't for a specific fic, but something that has bothered me since I first saw the episode of the dub that did this.
During the Sasuke defection arc, when Shikamaru and Naruto are recruiting genin to persue Sasuke, are there any where they also recruit Sakura? What about having Naruto send out Shadow clones with copies of the order to track down all the genin and take more people with them, like Ino or possibly Sai?

It bothered me that they did not take Sakura with them, nor did Naruto send out clones to recruit multiple people at the same time.

In somebody's idea file, they had Sasuke and his Mom (who was to be a wet-nurse) take Naruto to the land of the Toads to raise them both. That was pretty much all that was shown as the focus was on a different take to the aftermath. I can't recall if it was Danzo being made Hokage or a Sarutobi with a different attitude who did it, but they were the focus of the story.

Let me know if you want me to try to track it down.

I'm trying to find The Next Great Adventure? Basically, it's the fic where Dumbledore was reborn as Naruto. I remember that this fic was awesome, but the author was bashed in comments because Dumbledore should be evil and all that... The fic was deleted, but maybe someone saved it?

And one more fic. This one is really old...
All I remember is that Naruto was raised by Orochimaru and entered Chuunin Exams in Konoha. During the first test Ino tried to enter his mind, but was tortured by Naruto.

This might be a long shot, but... sadly, the only thing I can remember is a bit from a Naruto fic where his neighbors start screaming back at him when he gets loud in his apartment (in the fic, it was actually quite funny). The one line I can remember is one of his neighbors yelling "Walls won't stop my wrath!"

Sound familiar to anyone?

IRRC, Dumbledore was reborn as the Third Hokage, and Voldemort was reborn as Orochimaru in addition to the Gryffindor Trio being reborn as Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura.

Though I know there was another one with a similar premise with the Trio coming back as Team Kakashi, but I can't find the second one.
