ON TOPIC: I really like Stranger than Fiction. It does things in a very unique way that I have yet to see in another fic. I love all the character interactions, and how Naruto seemed to actually be pretty close to anyone important in Konoha.

no, the 9TS arguement was not on topic, as this topic is about posting news about updates, not complaining about a story and arguing over it. It derails a topic pointlessly.
Note the topic creator's post:
look at #4, give your opinion, not create a giant argument spanning multiple pages that goes into arguments over canon! So if you want to discuss if the story is good or not that's fine, just make a new topic for your debate. That discussion might be over, but its very possible for someone else to pop in and get a new argument started.
I'm starting to think with all these off topic arguements that are appearing more often that the Naruto boards, more often than not nowdays, are merely bickering, with an occasional story popping in. I'm personally thinking now that if Hawk got rid of the Naruto boards I really wouldn't feel any remorse over it.
I'm so sick of going into topics, such as this one and the ones in the preview section, expecting to either a new update, only to find pointless bickering for several freaking pages. It was one thing when a small discussion led to new ideas, but now people are arguing just for the sake of arguing.

There is a difference in complaining about a story and going over the vailidity of certain plot points used in them, but overall I guess it did get out of hand.
But He's just a Ramen cheif just updated, but for some reason the next chapter isn't showing up... odd...
I think it may have somthing to do with the 15 minute wait...

Yay for Chef. I still found it strange that Naruto doesn't seem to care about his son that much, even though the author told me it's part of his "treating important things like they are not" philosophy. And who is this Akane girl? I don't feel like going through previous chapters and checking.

The WoW crossover that I follow.
I happen to like this, especially the latest chapter. The author doesn't hesitate to utterly corrupt cannon. That and the worlds are blended almost perfectly, arguably the hardest thing to do in a crossover.

Yay! I love this story! Naruto becoming strong without the demon is always win for me. The only thing I hate is the way Naruto treats Jiraiya. Tsunade, I can understand, but coming from Naruto... The omakes that deal with Jiraiya being hurt because of being a pervert suck and even seem gratitious at times. And if I recall correctly, there are a ton of them.

Overall now that I've read the ending, I can give a better summery.
Plot wise the story was Meh, as quite a few things didn't add up overall. However from what I can tell, the main goal of the story was to be a crack story (The plot was just kinda tacked on).
Crack wise I was laughing throughout most of it (Anko was Win!), although because the author is WELL versed in anime, some of the jokes blew over my head, because I clearly didn't watch all the ones he did. Very humorous story overall.
Romance wise can be taken two ways. The development was excellent for several girls (Ayame and Temari in particular, Anko too (She went from trying to rape him to, from what I can tell, falling in love with him)) a prime example of how romance should work in stories, but others were meh (Ino particularly, but I'm biased as I don't like that pairing, and Sakura was kinda tacked on there as well). Of course that's on the Naruto side, Nemar's side was meh overall, they all liked him too quickly for my taste. Anyway the finale for any harem fic can usually end two ways, the first of which is Polygamy, which is stupid, overused, and just plain dumb. The second is that Naruto ends up with one girl, which is kinda mean to the others. This author attempted to find a middle way (And don't get me wrong, it didn't work), but overall I'll give him points for trying. Harem stories are EXTREMELY hard to end right, and that is probably why so few of them do.
It's a decent fic in the crack and romance regards (Which was the desire in this case), but plot wise it doesn't fit together. Besides, the guy said chapter twenty is a rewrite of the last three, so there's that to look forward to (my guess is to buckle down, this will take a while). I give it my thumbs up, but other people are entitled to their oppinions. This story caters more to my interests overall.

Almost all the places I go online where I interact with people regularly, I use haiku as a mode of speech. So I decided to adopt it over here as well. This is the mixed prose and poetry pattern I use in my online games.
