Some time After the Kyoto arc Asuna is kiddnapped by a group of mysterious wizards and Magic knights who are over heard calling her Hime-sama. When Negi and crew make there way to the kiddnappers base they are greated warmly and taken to a castle where they are introduced to the countries Queen, Asuna Vesperina Theotanasia Entheofushia. ^_^ The Kiddnappers feel that they rescued there Royal princess who had been kiddnapped by Nagi and his comerades.

Alternately after Chao's defeat Asuna receves a letter congradulateing her on her 28th or 30th birthday and requesting she return to her home country to assume the throne as the nations consitutional monarch. With the latter comes a package containeing a number of family heirlooms inclueding a Gold crown, Gold and Silver jewelry, a Six foot Zweihõnder sword and information on her home land inclueding how to get there. ^_^
Just imagine how Ayaka, Haruna, the cheerleaders and the other exitable girls (most of the class) will react to learning that Asuna is a Princess (as well as being a Oba-san from there point of view)? How will Negi react to learing that Asuna traveled with his father? Think of the Chaos! :)

Negi Springfield, son of the Thousand Master, has graduated. As one of the most brilliant students of his generation, he is sent to Japan to teach at a high school.

Upon landing at Kasukabe, Negi promptly gets lost and wanders around for hours. Fortunately he manages to find a girl who is willing to help him, despite her initial suspicion and disbelief. Unfortunately he manages to sneeze her clothes off. To make up for it, he buys her new ones and all nine volumes of Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. Later she guides him to the school he's supposed to be teaching at.

Unsurprisingly (for us), he's her new English teacher. Curious as to why a nine-year-old is teaching, she and her friends spy on Negi after class. They catch him doing magic. He catches them watching him.

For Hiiragi Kagami, English class (and her life) will never be the same again.

that's the thing with 'slice of life' animes based in reality I think there harder to cross into the realm of fantastic because it so far out of the way. But there are few 'if any' normal girls in his class any ones that were 2 or 3 vols later gained some sort of skill that made them fantastic... lol besides kigami despite looking younger then most of the cast of negima is actually 17 making her several grades higher.

Personally I think a negi's class sound like Haruhi's dream class... to bad she'd never be allowed to find out. Multiple magic organizations, martians, ghosts, androids, vampires, mages. Though an assignment like that might be to hard o send a recent magic school graduate to cover...

IMO, the challenge is what's tempting me to write it; just to see if I can do it without it being a total FAIL.

Yes, a slice of life + magical fantasy story is hard. Though it becomes a lot easier (not easy, just easier) when you have a lot of imagination. . . and a good helping of Mahoraba and School Rumble.

Perhaps Negi as a semi-major character would be better for a write in.

I wonder, has anyone here considered Trap!Negi? I finally found a copy of that Negi(in the foxgirl outfit)/Ayaka doujin and wondered if a Trap!Negi fic might be hilarious... actually, I'm sure it'd be hilarious.

Nodoka's parents set her up on an omiai... with Negi (of course, she won't know that until she sees him).

You mean Negi being the trap or ....?

Seems quite open ended. Any idea at least on what this will entail?

Yes, Trap!Negi. Whether by hook or by crook, Negi's a bona fide trap. At first, s/he is still the novel cute ten-year-old teacher, but female. The fun part starts when individuals in the class start figuring it out. The funner part starts when certain of them don't :snigger:

Nodoka, for example, thinking she's batting for the other team.

We've all seen Ayaka's reaction *NOSESPLODE!*

Ayaka could start developing certain atraction towards Negi, suddenly realizing that she may be a lolicon. Of course, once she discovers the truth, sice he was a boy all the time, her atraction was normal. Yeah...

And Chao would spend a lot of time trying to splash Negi with hot water, to see if her ancestor is affected by a Jusenkyo curse or something. She was sure her grandfather was a man.

I suppose that the school authorities could want Negi to pass off as a girl, seeing as to how he/she would be teaching an all-female class, so it might be more convenient for a girl to be teaching other girls.

What is the proper definition of a trap anyways? Would Negi be technically a male or a female? As in, which way would he swing? Both ways?

From encyclopediadramatica.com:

Trap: This is a fucking trap. Dude, that's a dude, dude. Slang term for a transvestite, popular among the homosexuals at 4chan. Can also be applied to a non-transvestite male who nevertheless passes as a girl.

Negi would still be a boy. A very disturbed boy. A skirt-wearing boy.

Very easy to do, really. Just have him get the idea that Nagi wanted a girl.

And quite frankly, I think Negi's whole situation in canon is half because the Headmaster thinks it's funny, so this would certainly be fine with him.

What if the events of the festival hadn't turned out near as well as it did in cannon? Perhaps the Battle of Mahora wasn't non-lethal but for what ever reason a good number of people die and to save them Negi tries to use Cassiopeia to change events for the better... unfortunately for Negi the watch had been damaged earlier on and when Negi tried to use it, it exploded trapping Negi in a time loop from the first time that he had used Cassiopeia to the time that it exploded.

To make matters worse Negi finds that no matter what action he takes the future still ends in tragedy, the only difference being how the events play out. That there is SOMETHING that is fully determined to make sure that to make sure that it ends in blood... and slowly becoming aware of Negi.

Now Negi must not only discover a way to save his students and end the time loop but also a way to defeat the mysterious power that seeks to have the festival end in tears...

Have yopu been playing Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within?

Or watching Grounshog Day?

Cause a Negi stuck in a time loop gaining experience like anything would be OMGWTFPWN type of guy.

Actually, at least some of the girls would know if Negi's a boy or not. Asuna's bathed him once or twice, though he had a towel around his hips at the time, so she might not have been able to see. Makie 'did' take a peak at him at least once.

More inspired by Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within then anything else. As for Negi being all OMGWTFPWN, he does have a few limitations given how he does have to stop whatever it is that wants things to end badly, save his students, and at the same time figure out how to leave the time loop and do this all in the same time loop.

Although yes he probably would be quite a bit more powerful then his younger self, though I'd leave that up to anyone who liked this idea. I do have to wonder how many time loops that Negi would have to go through before he starts to change the tournament battles and messing with his students though...

If Negster was passing as a girl,Makie would find out that she was a he when they were squished in the shower....which would make the peak all the more hilarious.

AbyssalDaemon, your story idea seems to play out in my head somewhat like Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so.

. . . Would that make Sayo Hanyuu? And Nagi/Sanders Arataka?

Not by intention, I assure you. ^_^

Sayo as Hanyuu is a funny thought, but might not work. Kazumi is almost nothing like Rika, so... nah. Not like that.

Konoka = Mion is a good one, though.

Y'know, come to think of it, this idea also sounds vaguely similar to the storyline of Fate/Hollow Ataraxia.

We all know how Nagi was supposed to have several ladies chasing him, so what if several of the girls in Negi's class were the result of this?

Dear Nekane,

I never really thought about it, but I was always glad for you and how you really cared for me like you were truly my sister. I'll always think of you that way, but now that I think about it, I'm happy to have sisters who are truly mine, as if Father himself understood that I did not want to be alone.

I think he overdid it a bit though. I'm not sure if I should act differently around them, but I find it hard to be an authority figure over twenty-something older sisters. Not that they make life for me difficult, in truth I wouldn't have endured without them, and I'm happy to be with them-

The rest of the letter was left to oblivion as a white-hot flame consumed the parchment. Fingers gripped the ashes and squeezed until there was nothing left.

Anya winced. As carefully as possible, she asked, "Um, Nekane, is something the matter?"

The smile Nekane sent her way was in no way distinguishable from her normal ones, but it still sent chills up and down Anya's spine.

"Why, there's absolutely nothing that's the matter, Anya. Even if a certain someone decided to replace a person who has been his caretaker, sister, mother, and hopefully lover-in-the-future with a dozen others, it's still no reason to lose one's composure."

"Ah, if you say so."

"Still, would you like to go to Japan with me, Anya? I think it's time we paid Negi a visit."

Anya internally weighted the pros and cons. On one hand, going along with Nekane in this mood was tantamount to suicide. On the other hand, not going meant she might be the only one not getting any Negi-nookie.

"When are we going, Nekane?"

"Just as soon as we finish our tea, dear."

:snigger: Didn't really think of Nekane, but she'd probably would be less then happy about it. Which make for some amusing scenes.
