Can Shadow Clones really be considered fake copies though when they have their own souls? I mean, Hiruzen's Shadow Clones were real enough that the shinigami accepted their souls as sacrifices to pay for sealing away the First and Second Hokages. And it ate their still-existing souls several pages after the physical bodies of the clones had dispelled. Which means that a Shadow Clone's soul persists after the jutsu ends, and presumably passes on to the afterlife.
The way I see it, Sarutobi used his soul to act like a splitter. While the Death God has his soul, it can also reach out through his Shadow Clones and ensnare others. Otherwise, one could just cheat the Death God by making Shadow Clones to circumvent that whole "death as payment" clause of summoning him.

And that just upped the horror factor of the Uzu nation -- one guy summons the Death God and ends like twenty ninja in one fatally fell swoop.
That begs the question: if Minato had grabbed some random person (an enemy nin Konoha was interrogating, some civilian, whatever), could he have used that person's soul as the payment for the Shinigami, or would he still have to give up his own?

I ask, because I've seen that premise used in fics before, and I've wondered...
Whoever has the contract has to do the summoning, I would presume. Just like how Orochimaru had to sacrifice himself to unseal the souls consumed (though he uses life hacks to circumvent that whole "death" thing).

Of course, this also begs the question of whether or not Sarutobi had a contract with the Death God, too, as he used the exact same one Minato used. And the answer is, "Probably not." Because he used the exact same one Minato used, and we've seen that there are many, many, MANY various Death God Mask in the old Uzu Temple, it stands to reason that the summoning of a Death God may not be entirely contractual in the same sense that one needs to have a contract with Gamabunta to summon him. It could be as simple as knowing the correct hand seals to connect to a particular death mask, and Sarutobi memorized the ones Minato used that day to "hack" into his/Kushina's.

Or maybe there is only one death god, and all those other masks were just ceremonial ones used to hide the real death god mask.

Thus proving Kishi is still bad at art.

Who the hell loses their babyface as a teen and then REGAINS IT as an adult lol.

yeah, that's just... bad, leaving aside everything else, just that forehead is NUTS! He looks like he's trying to ape the style of Akira maybe? or perhaps the weird ass forehead is just distracting me...

Too much homecooking and not enough pursuing people who have gone over to the dark side, I'd say.

Nah, Naruto's chakra was originally yellow when everyone else's was blue.

That just... randomly dropped off the face of the earth around the time Kyuubi chakra as a manifest able entity came out.

Though I could be mis-remembering, I think Naruto once claimed that his chakra felt "yellow" compared to Kurama's "red."

I'm not sure, however, that it was ever flat-out stated that Naruto's chakra was yellow.

Oh, it is yellow:

The reason why Naruto's golden mode is, well, golden is because Naruto has made that chakra his.

Honestly, I chalk it up to a coloring error.

As an aside, Itachi has a gold Susanoo, Madara has a red one, and Sasuke has a blue one. If we take that as their chakra color it could mean that different people have different colors.

wait-wait-wait-wait-wait. wait... wait...... wait. I thought Madara's was blue and Sasuke's was purple.

Anime (and game) Madara has a blue one.

Manga is red:

Itachi's Susanoo:

Edit: As for Sasuke here:

I mean, if I'm gonna be reading an improbable mess of a plot, I'd rather it be easy on the eyes. Case in point: Bleach.

Hot damn, even the dudes are pretty as fuck in Bleach. Confused boners galore.

Yeah, everyone has different coloured chakra.

Naruto's is yellow, which is the only named colour.

That said, the Rasengan has a tendancy to be blue occasionally, even in offical art by Kishi.

Huh. Don't think I've ever seen that cover before(the one with the red Madara Susanoo). I was referencing the volume 62 cover. Also, I think Sasuke's Susanoo was purple in the colored chapter where they fight six-paths Madara after Naruto and Sasuke get their SoSP power-ups.

Well, this does have 1500+ pages.
This is easily the biggest topic on TFF.
Can't hurt to migrate to a new one.
