One Piece Manga Discussion

Indeed. Those pics are badass.

As for Boa, I can see her becoming Luffy's unintentional bride. She'll just mention becoming wife to the would be Pirate King, and he'd agree without a second thought. Of course, she'd either join the crew or go home to await his ascension to the top of the heap.

If I'm right in either prediction, I will declare Luffy as Lord of all Awesome.

HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!

Mr. 3 just showed up again, AND HE LOOKS BADASS.

This is going to be the most epic arc of One Piece ever, with the bit-part villains Luffy and co. steamed through showing up again in Impel Down.

... Holy cow, that place literally is hell... ow... seriously... and that was only level one. I'd hate to see what they're forcing Ace through...

Holy crap on a crap cracker, is it me or does Buggy seem a lot more bad-ass than normal? Not to mention Mr. 3.

First stubble on Buggy, now a goatee on Mr 3, all I gots to say is that Crocodile has to have a porn stache. Facial hair seems to make everyone even manlier in One Piece, just look at the pirate king. He had a rocking stache and stubble. Double manly.

I guess being seperated from his body parts for a long time gave Buggy some great insights as to how his abilities work. The part where he could fly/glide through the air as long as his feet touch the ground is awesome. Plus, the appearance of Mr. 3 just adds spice to the whole pot. I'm guessing every villain that Luffy defeated that got arrested are in Impel Down. Hmm.... another thing. If level 4 is for pirates with bounties of at least 100 million beri, what level for 300 million?

For all we know it could be the nine levels of hell kinda thing. You know, different level of tortures and it gets worse as you go down.

Five bucks says Luffy goes apeshit in the following chapter and pulls out another mass destruction move to leave yet another major piece of archietecture in pieces. We all know what Luffy tends to do to in his epic battles. Destroying a fortress of Arlongs and and blasting through eight layers of rock in the underground tomb in Arabasta with crocodile as some examples.

I see the wall smashes continuing, not all by his own strength, quickly cutting through to the next levels and mass destruction coming at the end during an actual 'boss' battle.

After:

Wanted Pirates
Baroque Works
Multiple Shichibukai
Going directly against the WG(beating down CP9)
Being associated with one of the Yonkou and being the relative of a subordinate of another.

It's only natural that you destroy the greatest prison in the world.

Hopefully, we'll see a fair number of past enemies, too many great characters in One Piece to not see some of them again.

And I second the hope for Pornstache!Crocodile. That's a damn amusing image.

And don't forget, Enies Lobby. Granted he didn't do it directly but indirectly, he triggered a buster call to destroy Enies Lobby.

I try to image what crocodile looks like with a pornstache but I just can't.

One Piece has returned! This is a good chapter, with Mr. 3 joining Luffy's idiot brigade (his intention the same as Buggy's--distraction for his own escape!), Buggy reacting to Gear Three, meeting the chief warden of Impel Down, Hancock pretending to be innocent, and meeting the last Shichibukai... himself a prisoner!

Now... what could have been the reason for the last guys imprisonment? If I had to guess, I'd say he tried to enforce the World Government's own laws against them, much to their displeasure.

I think that the last shichibukai has seen the atrocities that the world government has done in the name of law and 'world peace' that he felt that they are no longer Just. Just look at what they allowed the Nobles to do and the place where Robin fell to. If you are not with the world government, you are against them and either sent to Impel down or work as slaves.

I wonder how this whole thing is going to pan out.....with Whitebeard on the outside and the last place they thought could be hit being attacked from the inside....mmm

Actually...I'm of the opinion that he only rebelled due to the upcoming war between the WG & the White Bear Pirates.

Don't forget, he was a shichibukai for quite a period of time....it's naive to think that he wouldn't be aware of the darker side of the world government. He's probably tolerated them for this long because the best way to maintain peace was to work with the system instead of against it.

But now that the chips are down and war is about to break out......there's no reason for him to continue remaining loyal.

Oh this is going to be epic. Luffy and co. make their way to Ace, but don't realize that there really are nasty pirates down there.

I love the line: "I just sighted them!"

"You did?"

"It looked like... there were three of them!"

Oh, and it turns out that Jimbei really is a Shichibukai, just one that likes Whitebeard.

Now that's odd. The new One Piece was taken down from Onemanga....

And about Crocodile's hook, I'll bet the only reason he still has it is because everyone is too afraid to go near him to get it off. Maybe he threatened to bite the face off of anyone who tried.

That's weird, I've just finished reading it. I love the last half of the chapter where No.3 and Buggy tries to escape and use Luffy as bait while Luffy plays Whack-a-No.3-Wax-Doll game with the Sphinx. I also love how Luffy inadvertedly smashes through Level 2 using the Sphinx.

oh man this is so epic.... what did they say was on level 3? I know the warden is on level 4....

Wow, was seaching randomly through devient art, and found this. Starts off a little meh in both Art style and story execution, but near the end (First fragment of the story) it really starts getting infinitely better in both. It's like, REALLY good. Not sure about update speed though, but I like it.

Edit: Also, a little late but,
