You could still use words other than bump.

Like, "I want to write an original fic about a banana that falls in love with a puppy and put it into the brand new original section."

Well, yes, but that was before we won the vote. If you're still set on insisting that perhaps the amount of votes garnered isn't enough to get a proper section outside of General, I can't exactly stop you, but I think we at the very least deserve a comment saying so - if you read the posts right after the poll closed you can see several people were expecting a change given the results.

That's not my point at all. My point is that I do think an original fiction section is fine, but I'm not going to put it in until near the end of the site improvements to give myself a chance to think how to do it.

Yeah, Watashiwa confirmed that on IRC, and I thought I posted it. My bad. Getting used to being an Admin can take some time, especially when retooling a completely new site based off of a massive other site.

He has until June, then we begin the seditious activities to wrest control from him and put it in place by force!!!

Well, it seems we're continuing to gain support for an Original Fiction section, even though Watashiwa has already agreed.

Alright then; time to re-purpose this thread.

So, aside from having an individual section, and the usual Ideas/Previews/Talk subsections, what does the Original Fiction Section require?

How about a collaborative story that is made up one paragraph to chapter at a time by various members of TFF?

Which could end up either very good, or horribly, horribly wrong.
