Bleach Psycho-Orihime

I wonder how Orihime's minions have changed over the years...
Minions?

I also wonder if she's going to Reject anybody into a female form...
That's brilliant. Not sure if Raine can plot it in anywhere, but it's brilliant. Maybe that trap from the 11th?
This was brought up in the old thread. I have no objection to it, but I'd like to point some things out:

1.) Whoever it is, they won't be in the harem. Just like all the annoying "Ranma gets locked and falls in love" stories, I couldn't justify that sort of change. Assuming Orihime does it, it would be in body only, not in mind (or, if you prefer, she alters everything but their sexual orientation).

Also, the harem will be big enough as-is.

2.) Unless the person in question really, really annoys her, the only reason she'd do it would be if the person would be better off as a woman (or girl), or if being female would somehow help her or Ichigo.

Or if she just feels like it. No reason to pretend she wouldn't do it randomly just because.

Outside that, I'm open to suggestions. At the moment, I'm considering Byakuya, but that could change. I'm tempted to try fem!Kenpachi, just because. Knowing him, it wouldn't even phase him. Hell, he might not even notice. Cue all the captains and vice-captains deciding to draw straws to decide who gets to 'inform' him that he is, in fact, a girl.

But it's still up in the air, so if you want to suggest someone for gender swappage, then by all means.

It'd be entertaining to see how Hantaro would take it. Maybe Orihime thinks it would help him with his confidence issue?

You don't need anything complicated as a reason to get into Hueco Mundo. Psycho!Orihime just decides they need Nel and Halibel, so she goes to get them. By this time the others probably don't want to leave her alone for long, considering the trouble she gets into? , so they follow in her wake. Cue wacky hijinks.

Seriously she's nuts. No complicated reasoning needed.
True, but a major part of Ichigos development as a character (as well as the maturation of his powers) relies on him going specifically to get Orihime back.

Perhaps psycho!Orihime knows that, and decides to allow her to be kidnapped? After all, it's not like anything bad could happen. She knows that between herself, Ichigo, Chad, and Uryu, they have more than enough power to get Orihime back. And if worst comes to worst and someone gets killed, she can just bring them back.

If InsaneOrihime does indeed get her happy endding with Ichigo this time around what sort of affect will that have on her insanity or herself in general, will she break down in saddness and happiness upon finally getting what she's been after for so long, wil shedevelop an extreme case of paranoia beliveing that someone or something will try to take her happiness now that she has it or will her insanity subside a bit since she will have a safe haven of sorts with Ichigo or is she just to set in how she is now for any real change to occur?
Probably a mix of all of that. She's spent so much time living events over and over again, I doubt she's given much thought about what will happen once she finally gets what she's after.

For starters, I doubt she would ever truly rest as long as Aizen is alive. There's the fact that he can flawlessly fake his own death, so there's definitely a sense of paranoia as well, even after he dies.

When everything is over. . . she would probably be in some sort of denial. After all, she's been trying for it for so long, it can't actually be over, right?

After she comes to grips with having actually won. . . she would probably break down.

And yes, she would probably become a bit saner. Not by a whole lot, but she'd definitely calm down. After, of course, she gets over the fact that Bad ThingsTM aren't going to happen. I see all kinds of sheneganins on her end while adjusting, like booby trapping Ichigos room from floor to ceiling with lethal and semi-lethal traps and pitfalls. Cue Isshin charging in to wake Ichigo up, only to get shot at by a chain gun that comes out of one of the ceiling tiles.

Sorry about the long list of qusetions but I just could'nt hold back my curiosity.
That's quite all right. I enjoy answering questions, and it helps me hammer out my idea. By all means, ask away.

How Psycho!Orihime's Shun Shun Rikka are depends on how you want to use them, and how her world is different from canon.

She might view them as her children, with Ichigo as their father. They say Ichigo was responsible for them being born, so it makes a strange type of sense. Her broken state of mind could have affected them in this way, possibly altering their physical bodies and minds as well. The idea of them manifesting as winged toddlers and hugging Ichigo is amusing.

They could be just as nutty a she is. Simply because of the large number of repeats or because of Orihime's own broken mind, they could just be her insane, loyal minions.

They could be sane, and trying to get Orihime back to normal. Maybe thet realize that Ichigo is the only hope, or maybe they think that obtaining Ichigo i sonly going to mke it worse, and have been sabotaging her effort in an attempt to get her to let go.

They could simply be tools. Mybe they helped her in the beginning, but as her mind became more and more unstable, they started to resist, resulting in Orihime turning on them and destroying their minds/souls.

I seem to recall the manga stating that the Shun Shun Rikka are aspects of Orihimes personality and feelings, so odds are, her mental state would be reflected in their appearance.

As to how that could work. . . I'm not entirely sure. At the moment, I'm leaning towards the last one. While it would be entertaining, the Shun Shun Rikka don't make that much of an appearance in cannon, and honestly, they're not that important to the plot.

Though if I did write the in, they'd probably all be just as nutty as Orihime. It would be difficult to keep them distinct, though. It's challenging to write insanity and also keep it distinctive between different insane people.

Anyone have any suggestions? I could use ideas for how to make them various flavors of 'out-there'. Also keeping in mind the fact that they're all fragments of Orihime, so they should each reflect a single extreme of her persona.

And of course, there has to be the one Shun Shun Rikka that's completely lucid and sane, to reflect that Orihime hasn't completely gone off the deep end.

Oh, and it appears I didn't post on this thread yet (odd...), but I must say, solid work so far. :yay:

Correct me if I'm wrong, you Japanese experts out there, but -kun is not a gender specific suffix. Neither is -chan, in fact, though IIRC, it's kinda rude to apply to boys unless they're a lot younger than you or you're teasing them.

That's about 90% correct. The one detail (that really makes the most difference) is that '-chan' is cuter, and as a result is used more often than '-kun' for girls. '-kun' also implies a relationship of (fairly) close equals/near-equals, which, in Japanese society is a somewhat harder position for women to attain.

Also... if a guy calls you 'cute' in your native language, and he isn't trying to fuck with your head, how are you as another man going to react 99.999 times out of 100? And if it's a girl (though it's more inline with calling a guy beautiful in English), she may as well just be applying Novocaine to your groin.

Why go to Hueco Mundo? Putting aside the fact that she's a Psycho and doesn't need an actual reason... she could just have Uruhara build her a hot chick detector. Between the two of them... it could easily pick up Halibel and Nel, I'd think. "One is a geni~us, the other's in~sane" and all.

When I saw Psycho in the title I expected more along the lines of "Reject-everything-in-sight" Orihime.

That would have been pretty boring, actually.

I didn't expect a dimension/time traveling, Harem-for-Ichigo-goal oriented singing Orihime.

Which absolutely kicks arse. She's gone crazy, yes, but not much more so then normal. Except, now, she has the intent to do whatever she wants.

That's a little scary.

Final Battle Omake by Me said:
Aizen, Gin, Tousen, and the Arrancar Army stood on one side, away from the Door to the Throne of the King of Soul Society.

On the other, before the Door to the Throne of the King of Soul Society was Orihime, Psycho Orihime, Ichigo, Uryuu, Chad, and the Vaizard.

The Shinigami were all suspiciously absent and busy.

They started an Epic Battle of Majorly Awesome Proportions. Kido -- both Hado and Bakudou -- flying everywhere, people fighting with swords, hands, claws, feets -- all of it. Shunpo-ing around and blasting each other with their different powers.

While all this was happening the two Orihime's, Psycho and Normal, were concentrating on who and what to reject.

The only problem was they didn't know all these people and their targets were moving too fast.

So, they pulled Ichigo and his Harem out of the battle, and then Rejected the whole battlefield.

There was nothing left.

Psycho Orihime then, for a reason none of them will ever know, Rejected everyone else except Ichigo. She then knocked him out, tied him up, and put him in Hammerspace, for later use.

She then skipped on to the next dimension, and started over again.

And again...and again...and again.

Until she had her own Harem of Ichigo's.

*...wonders if that harem includes at female Ichigo or two...* :hmm:

For some reason, trying to imagine a female Ichigo breaks my brain. Idle question: anyone ever done any genderbent Bleach cast pics?

That's the most beautiful Bankai I've ever seen.

Random thought: In the case of a female Ichigo, would Zangetsu's inner form be a hot chick in a black dress?

I was honestly worried about that one because the hairstyle reminded me of Urahara...

:unsure!:

Yeah, Lady Salazar has for her fic called Strawberry.

<_<

In fact, just search for 'fem' at fanfiction.

Most are one of, or a combination of, the following: horrible; crack; highschool; or smut fics.

...actually, I typo-ed. I meant pics, like one of the whole cast...because imagining some of the characters as the opposing gender amuses me greatly. Orihime, for example. Anyone else see Yoruichi having some sort of debonair goatee? Renji...hmm, some sort of punk, probably. Shunsui and Nanoa's relationship would be highly amusing. Not to mention Toshiro and Rangiku's. Chad...would be a scary, scary woman. Unless she slimmed down a bit, in which case...hmm, tall, dark, stoic woman...

Pics?

...

Nope.

I can definitely imagine them, though.

Byakuya wouldn't change much, though. Longer hair, some curves, and that's all you need for Byakuya to be female.

Mayuri as a female would just be plain freaky. So would Kenpachi.

I would find female Aizen and/or Gin amusing, though. :snigger:

Chizuru (Orihime Molesting Master) would be the perverted male, Urahara could probably fit the same role as Orihime, most of the time.
