Raccoon City

There are a couple of crates and shelves along the walls, and you can see a large door in the back, probably leading to the cargo corridor.

The center of the room is dominated by two large plastic crates with the Umbrella company logo on the top and side, they are both opened.

(Damnit. :p , I wanted some of the Major Fire Power, besides my Barrett. ^_^ )

(What is the crates markings? Any idea what they had? Inventory Chart?)

The two crates are marked with 12 000X 5,56 NATO and 24X 125mm HEDP respectively. Both are empty, but you can see the outline left in the packaging material, the first one seems to have held somekind of ammo pack, while the second has the outline of two dozen large rockets.

If the door in the back seems untouched, check the packaging for Tracers.

"Jesus H. Christ... What the hell are we facing?" Clarke muttered, putting his pistol in his pack and shifting the M21 on his shoulder.

Apart from the crushed electric lock on each case you don't find any sign of tracers.

"This is bad, how the hell did he/she/it know where to find this . . ."
*check the service corridor*

How Heavy are the Cases the Ammo and Rockets came in? Can they be picked up and dragged outside to act as a sorry barricade to delay incomming?

Make another check for sounds? More of the weapon being fired on another floor?

You manage to unlock the door leading to the service corridor, it seems to be as empty as the floor above.

The cases are about 3 ft tall, 3 ft wide and 5 ft long and weigh about 20-30 pounds. They are cumbersome, but can be moved easily by two people.

I'd like to cut through the packaging and see whatever is left inside the containers.

You remove the packaging material, but can't find anything else, it is completly empty.

then lets use them to block the hole made by the chain-gun and keep doing a quick search of the shops one-by-one so we don't get ambushed. . .

They provide an effective barrier. You go through the shops one after another, starting with the hunting shop.

You find a couple of more batteries, a portable stove, some more clothes. You don't find any more ammo or weapons though.

The flower shop and the art gallery doesn't have anything of note, neither does the tobaccoo shop. The back of the hardware store on the other hand has some goodies. (but you really should make a rhough estimate on the weight your group is carrying)

Yeah, I'm gonna leave the "Extra" Electronics and "Battery powered stuff" in "Billy's" shop (i.e. anything that needs to be charged or has no battery power)
including but not limited to:
power tool batteries and charger
various electronic parts (storing these carefully)
digital camera with low-light recording ability
remove laptop from the box, and grab the parts + materials requested. grab a spare as well with an additional charger (this one is just laptop and charger).
DOS Boot Software
1 Rotor Blade (2 ft. long, half warped)
Electric Drill
(don't know if the chainsaw is included in this list. . .)

(Back in the vault, there was no more extra ammo or anything? firing pins?)

(There are a couple of crates and shelves along the walls, and you can see a large door in the back, probably leading to the cargo corridor.)

(What items are in the crates and on the shelves?)

Xerxezz

Mostly random stuff for the store, fishing stuff, camping gear. It looks like somone got to the shelves with ammo before you, they are all empty.

(A thought comes to me, could we use the fishing line as tripwire? And does anyone here have the knowledge to use it as such?)

(with the way things are going it'll get in the way more than it'll help us.)
"Should we head to the next floor?"

TerraBull

Tex: follows, not liking the situation, but Hey! It is SNAFU..

"Save the good stuff for when we need it."

Clarke follows along, sweeping the corridor, and the ceiling, with his flashlight as he walked. His boots echo softly...

Tex: looks at the directory to see what other shops are on the next floor down.

A computer gaming store, a cosmetic store, another clothing store, and an insurance agency.

The corridor looks empty.

Tex: takes a moment to comment. "I do not think there is any insurance coverage for what happened here." in a attempt to lighten the situation.

"Think any of the cosmetics stuff could be useful in making explosives or flamables? I do not think there is anything useful here, a quick check then next level, we do not want to leave anything at our backs."

"Seconded, in some ways i'm glad that the power is off, I'd probably get a heart-attack if we went into the gaming store and someone had left Doom or Biohazard running. . ." :) (cookie for anyone who knows the admittedly obvious reference)
