Lilith was hinted at in this Loop as having attained the sealed power of Morrigan. Usagi's Morrigan had yet to get such.
In the end, if the Loop reset when the two came together, Usagi would carry a more powerful Morrigan, with the same for Ranma and Lilith, The only difference would be that Ranma could contain the neo-Lilith's power. Usagi could barely contain Morrigan before updating. Who knows what would happen now.

If it weren't for the fact that these are the smart, mangaverse senshi, I would say they did something incredibly stupid (like trying to purify Chen and Ran. Or dust Yukari). But they've been in enough loops to learn that "shoot first, ask questions never" is a bad idea, so that option is out.
Although, I just thought of something worse than Hogwarts and Eiken: Hogwarts, Eiken-style. For when you screw up so badly, an Eiken loop just doesn't cover it...

And I can't really see any of the Senshi are going to ever suggest having Usagi use the Jakokusuishou as that would lead toward bad end for the universe, even if it is nearly impossible for her to do so. Also technically not only has the Ginzuishou long hence left it in the dust power-wise but it's the Golden Crystal that is the Ginzuishou's counterpart.

Ugh, I hate seeing this. Even the anime senshi aren't that stupid. They don't fight because their opponents because they are different. They fight because their opponents attacked their friends and 90% of the time if their friend wasn't turned into a monster, something was stolen from them that's necessary for the person to live (Star Seed, Pure Heart, life-energy, Dream Mirror). Monsters did actually kill if they had enough time to drain enough energy. The senshi always interfered before they could.
Not to mention nearly all the villains have done something to cross the moral event horizon right in front of them which of course drives them to kill this person as quickly as possible.
Senshi are only willing to fight people if they're endangering innocent people. They don't really give a crap what you do as long as you're not doing that.

Usagi Tsukino simply stared at the little blue mark on the stick in her hands. She was mirrored in this by the rest of her fellow Senshi who looked equally shocked and confused.
"I thought that Peorth woman did something to prevent this?"
Ranma Saotome pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Right, I guess nobody told you about Chao Lingshen yet."
He sighed, Negi was so going to owe him big time for this one.
