Wait, so you're saying the whole Sekirei thing is about reincarnation?
Not quite. It does confirm however that the Sekirei we were shown way back in the futuristic ship are predated by Sekirei that existed far before that time. Not to mention, the way they traveled and came to Earth is beyond the powers of the ship itself; in conceptual theory anyway.

Could someone who's actually honest answer my question?

I'm surprised that none of you have pointed out that Musubi/Yume was screwing her Ashikabi yet.

Part of the Sekirei process apparently involves copious amounts of sexual activity.

It will be entertaining to see what happens when this phase kicks in at the inn.

114 Raw is out.

If I'm understanding things right, Akizu and Uzume look like they were in the same group as Minato's Sekirei, and Homura looks like he was female in the past.

It also looks like Tsukiumi was a lot less curvy in the past.

Now, if A-team will finally scanlate 113, we'll start understanding things a bit better.

I understand they're doing this as volunteer work, but they're churning out the other series, and haven't touched this one in weeks. It's frustrating.

There's something I've been thinking about for a few months now.

I wonder if Tsukiumi's adjuster was Misato's grandmother.

She seems to have the same monstrous look as Takami does when they get mad, Tsukiumi has stated that she looks relatively young, though she's a senior citizen, and Takami stated that Minato's grandmother will probably live another hundred years, and Minaka tends to respect her (which wouldn't be surprising if he used to date her daughter)

Though, it's just conjecture.

A-Team has finally released the scanlations for 113 and 114.

A lot of revelations. It doesn't make them completely clear, but major info was given to us.

The Ashikabi from the past, as well as the Sekirei that resembled Minato's group are in fact Minato's ancestors, and possibly the ancestors of all Ashikabi. It's suggested that all Ashikabi have Sekirei ancestry.

The Jinki can not only reboot or kill Sekirei, but humans as well.

From what I can tell, there were eight ships, containing what appears to have been clones of each other. This explains the past versions who looked much like the modern Sekirei. It's suggested that the ship that Miya came from housed the originals, but it isn't certain.

Well, I can't wait for the next release.

I don't quite understand the exposition. Is Minato going to have incestuous relations with his Sekirei? Because the Sekirei that were active long ago look just like the current set of Sekirei. Since the current set was apparently submerged until recently, it looks like they're genetically related, which still means incest.

Also, it seems that their previous seven attempts to breed and multiply is kind of a failure. :(

It sounds like Musubi's connection to Yume isn't a coincidence. They are probably from different ships. So the similar looking sekirei were probably different ones, not younger ones.

From what it looks like, Minato's relationship to Sekirei is sufficiently distant that it's no longer considered incest.

Also, it would only be considered failure if none of their descendents still survived at all. The fact that Minato has access to their genetic memory proves it wasn't.

Sure, none of them have Sekirei powers, as far as we know, but who knows what might happen eventually? Besides Miya that is.

The problem is that the Sekirei on the other ships showed up centuries ago, and probably died of old age by this time.

Also, if that was the case, there would be two #8s, which we've yet to see any evidence of.

It is a failure because the hybrids haven't established themselves. If it weren't for the discovery of the eighth ship, the Sekirei would have just disappeared without even a whimper. Unless things change, history is going to repeat itself, only there aren't any ships left to attempt another revival.

113 and 114 are up on mangafox.

Spoiler:

It seems that Uzume and Akitsu are both destined to join Minato, if my interpretation of this is correct. Possibly Uzume's current Ashikabi as well, since that relationship is too sweet to throw away.
