wata, can you give us an update on some of the stuff that's still borked from the migration?
Thread search, and if you've had any success finding a good solution to the mucked up quotation marks.
Also, should we organize an election to replace EroSennin?
I've been pretty happy with wata as an admin, but I think it would be better to at least have a "backup" admin so he doesn't have to handle everything.

Most everything, unfortunately. I've fixed a few problems on my own but the thrice bedamned pic snip script still isn't working and I have yet to sit down and make a formal support request for the stuff you mentioned. That WILL be done, and soon, but I don't want to make any promises since I've so clearly failed to keep other, similar promises.
I'd prefer not to hold an admin election, for a few reasons. First, and most important, I'm holding out to see if The Ero-Sennin wants the position back after a few months. Second, the last batch of elections left a bad taste in my mouth what with the drama and bad blood it left behind.
Day to day TFF operations don't require active administrative supervision. Our technical problems are ultimately minor, ease of use issues. We're not big enough to have problems between members, and I prefer not intervening in the ones we do have. Our worst "issue" is a massive backlog of users who never finish the application process (842 if you're curious).
That said I do have a few people in mind who I could see as administrator material. Chances are I'll reach out to one of them should Ero decline to retake the seat.
