TFF: Assault on Yaoi!

Ricky was forced to stay behind cover as some of the obviously stronger TFFers handled the remaining hostiles in the bar. He was down to his last two clips of ammo, and he didn't think anyone would have any spares. Especially since most of them had some strange weapons.

He heard some additional shouting by the front entrance and turned just in time to see Peons #2, 9, and 11 run out of the bar. He watched in morbid awe as lasers and bullets shredded them before they had made it more than a few feet out of the doorway.

"Ambush! They've got the front door surrounded!!" He yelled, while his mind raced, trying to find an exit not already set as a killzone.

He suddenly remembered his less than steller entrance into Zaraki's bar and got an idea. Quickly he scanned the floor looking for-

There!

Weaving through the carnage that used to be a shady drinking establishment, Ricky ran across the battlezone and scooped up his small backpack off the floor. It always payed to be prepared, but he had gotten seperated from his gear when he came crashing in and couldn't get to it before the speech had started, followed closely by a much larger distraction. 'Rooster' just hoped that what he packed would be sufficient for what he had planned.

He quickly turned towards the window he had entered from and ran towards it, jostling Yaoibots he came across to make them unstable enough for others to dispatch them and ducking various flaming items that threatened to ruin his surprise early.

Sliding up to the wall, Ricky dug into his gear for a moment before producing a block of Composite 5 Explosive. Ripping of a chunk of it off, he stuck the piece of putty-like "insta-door" against the wall and stuck a small remote-controlled detonator in the C5 and then moved the hell away.

"It's time to blow this joint! FIRE IN THE HOLE!!" He screamed.

Taking cover in a booth, he flipped the safety on the remote and hit the button.

Night One, Deep Space, 9:10 PM

"Are we gettin' close to the waiting point?"

"Close enough, actually. I heard that there were still afew of the Yaoibots running around on the TFF world, and managed to bounce afew satellites to get some real time viewin from their headgear."

"Oh?" That immediately got Squall's attention, looking up from the instruction manual to the main screen. "Then punch it up on the screen and see what we're dealing with!"

"Aye aye, Captain!" This is followed by a demure giggle as the screen is covered by a display of the brawl in Zaraki's Bar, the mercenary eager to find out what was so scary about these TFF'ers.

......

Night One, Deep Space, 9:22 PM

"...well....shit." He just sighed as the screen was finally blacked out, and cut off the signal with a wave of his hand. From the looks of it, he stood a good chance of getting utterly fucked over by these lunatics. "Only if I play nice, I figure. Nara, what's tha status on the Materium?"

"All are solid and ready to sortie."

"And the prototypes?"

"The 'Stop' Materium hasn't reached appropriate tolerances, but the 'Slow' and 'Haste' are ready for testing."

"Looks like we've got our guinea pigs."

"You're worse than fuckin' Sean Avery! Ah fuck it, you're going down, NOW!"

"...seriously? Listen, I know you're tough and all, but shouldn't you really think this over a bit-"

Too late. Legacy-ko set aside her stick to the side and threw off her gloves and had practically leaped head-first into the melee. She was no longer content on staying in the back firing pucks at the yaoibots. She wanted in on the action - and she found it with a strangely resilient Yaoibot.

Despite the fact the Yaoibot in question was a fair bit taller than her, Legacy-ko was not deterred. She merely scoffed, her cocky and overconfident grin growing on her face.

"Oh please...Boogaard's bigger an' scarier than you and I still think he's a pussy! " she said, as she raised her fists.

"...uh...that thing's like eight and a half feet tall - that's A LOT bigger than Derek Boogaard. Nice comparison there...", Legacy commented, but of course, Legacy-ko wasn't listening...

Deep inside their shared co-existence, Legacy sighed. Even before this, he had long since stopped trying to make sense of what his little sister would try and do.

"Come on, let's fuckin' do this!"

Legacy-ko struck first, lashing out with a solid set of left jabs and followed up with rights. The Yaoibot screeched and swung its massive arms. Despite their size difference, Legacy-ko blocked the hits and kept fighting. Grabbing hold of the Yaoibot with her right, she threw a hard left hook - which smashed clean through into its chest cavity. Legacy-ko then smiled. With her fist inside its chest, she opened her fist and spawned fire, lighting its insides and putting it dangerously close to bursting into flame.

"It's time to blow this joint! FIRE IN THE HOLE!!"

"...wait, did you hear that?" Legacy asked, bringing it to Legacy-ko's attention.

Before Legacy-ko could respond, an explosion suddenly ripped through the remains of the bar. The Yaoibot, already on fire and about to burst in flames, was blown to bits by the sudden detonation, throwing the hockey player away and into a wall.

"...ugh...that wasn't fun..." Legacy-ko said.

Legacy was inclined to agree, as he slowly got back on his skates.

He then realized something was wrong...as did the battered and beaten Yaoist he had landed next to. The Yaoist looked up at the hockey player, confused.

"...weren't you a girl just now?" she asked.

Legacy scratched his head, not too sure of what to say.

"...it's complicated..." he admitted.

The Yaoibot detonating...Legacy supposed it made sense. When it detonated, pieces of it were sent flying in all directions. One of them must have hit the scar and reversed them - just like the hobo before they got to the bar...

Ignoring the Yaoist, Legacy summoned his hockey stick and a few pucks and began firing - a bit slower, but more accurate sniper shots at the leftovers. He wasn't like his younger sister. Where she was brash and loud, he was quieter and preferred to play and go about a bit cleaner.

"Not gonna goon it up?" Legacy-ko asked. She scoffed. "Seriously, you're a fuckin' wuss, bro! How the fuck are we even related?!"

"What? I just play differently..." Legacy replied, quickly checking the tape on his stick.

He spotted a Yaoibot in the crowd. It turned its attention over to Legacy. Legacy stickhandled one of his pucks back-and-forth, getting a feel for it. With a single clean motion, he fired a shot - catching the Yaoibot in the 'face', but at an angle that sent it downwards into its chest and insides.

Legacy-ko preferred to fire as many pucks as possible with as much force as possible, but Legacy, on the other hand, preferred to make the single shot that mattered.

He spotted his next target. He took aim and continued to shoot...

OOC: For anybody who might mention me in their next few posts, keep in mind - Legacy is currently male. I wanted to get some equal representation for both Legacy and Legacy-ko, so I figured it was time to switch them up...

"JUST SHOOT THEM!" Lyon screeched back at whoever had called out about magic, steadily firing round after round into yaoibot after yaoibot.

(This was why she'd fallen in love with Glocks -- No safety.)

Twisting through the air she leapt up onto a table only for it to smash under the impact of someone else's blow to it, sending shards of glass and the teenager it had supported tumbling through the air, while a horde of yaoibots converged at the point where she was sure to hit the ground, arms clacking in a heaving mass to form a sinister parable of tentacles, so that, her muscles spasming for a second as she did so, Lyon twisted her body around and into a butterfly kick that propelled her over the sea of robots, quickly taking out their lasers with a volley of lead that left them only marginally less dangerous as she passed overhead.

Marginally, because she was still far too close for comfort, and there were flaming hockey pucks flying through the dark to leave streaky patterns on the backs of her eyelids, and a scorched smell to the air as she stepped backwards through the twisted metal remains of a stool, sizing up her next shot.

Thankfully, at that moment, she heard a scream through the melee and, although the words were indistinguishable over the chaos of the moonlit battle, their cadence was familiar enough. The universal language of DUCK AND COVER is spoken by all who would like to save their skins.

So Lyon ducked, crouching into the safety position she'd been told was useful for earthquakes, praying that she'd heard ri -

BOOM

The sound broke through her thoughts, followed an instant later by the aftershock of whatever had just exploded, and, checking to see if she was still alive, Lyon felt a fine layer of metallic grit sprinkle all through her hair and down her back.

No more yaoibots then.

Or at least, not in her immediate vicinity.

"Cheers" she called out, biting back a cough at the acrid tang of whatever explosive had just saved her skin.

Night: One, Bar Ruins, 9:24pm

RC is about out of ammo now and the table he's been hiding has been his sanctuary for his duration of the battle, curiously the tables and chairs in the Bar remarkably tough as if things like this happened frequently. strange, he was wondering if it was the right choice to move here. 'no point thinking about that now' he thought.

an explosion rocked near him when a flaming hockey puck met a fire ball. "perfect" he said as smoke rose from the impact zone, he knew its the window he needed for a retreat.

he grabbed a corpse of a yaoist he hoisted it up using it as an impromptu shield, he made a mad dash towards a window. though he didn't really need to crash into the window seeing there's a hole in the wall next to it but hey, his adrenaline was pumping.

. . . . .

Night: One, streets, 9:25pm

discarding the body, RC ran, he has to get to his place if he wanted to help. plus he wanted a reason to use his Suit for years.

unfortunately his escape didn't go unnoticed as he found a yaoibot in his tail, fortunately though it was only one, he quickly took care of it using the last of his freeze rounds.

and by 9:27pm he has reached his home. it was time to break-out his toys.

"I'm assuming that we can resolve this piece fully?" Zero asked as he closed his book, seemingly uncaring of the various yaoi forces surrounded him, weapons prepared to fire at a moment's notice.

"Sure, if you plan to surrender and accept yaoi into your heart."

"I bet we can find you the PERFECT boyfriend."

"...I'm afraid you misunderstood." Zero responded.

"Oh?"

"I said piecefully, as in, I'll resolve this by CUTTING YOU INTO PIECES!!!"

With that declaration, Zero pulled blades from the infinite void, and began to cut his way through the helpless cannon fodder.

Grinning like a madman, Zero joined the fray, allowing the adrenalin coursing through his system to take over and simply reveled in the massacre.

"COME ON!!! IS THIS ALL YOU'VE GOT?! SHOW ME WHAT YOU CAN REALLY DO!!!!"

"Yaoibots... what a nuisance." Epsilon sighed as he tossed his freshly short-circuited victims on to the examination table. The lab was mostly in ruins with a majority of equipment rendered useless. Looks like he'll have to conjure up his own equipment.

Man, what he would give for a Juraian espresso about now...

"Len-chan, can you please summon some Neko Arcs to guard the perimeter?" His voice sounded a bit strained, due to the stress of having his regular routine thrown way off track.

"But what about their milk fees, Onii-chan?"

"If they want milk, they can go grab it from the boobs of those dumb yaoi witches who invaded us," grumbled the Chinese youth.

"Okay then!" With a sunny smile, Len hopped out of the lab to let her summons loose on the compound.

In the meantime, Epsilon opened up a chest cavity of one of the Yaoibots and examined the advanced circuitry in there. The immediate priority was to extract the robot's processing unit and gather intel on the Yaoi forces who kidnapped his family.

As soon as he started prodding, a beeping sound came from the unit he was examining.

BEEP! BEEP!!

"????"

"Warning! This unit will self-destruct in 20 seconds..."

Even with the warning, the youth remained undaunted. "Fair enough... if you want to do this the hard way..."

A quick transformation later and he had taken on his larger metallic viral form.

"I will be more than happy to oblige," murmured Gigabyte before he carefully inserted his index claw into the hardware to begin infecting the Yaoibot with his viral code.

Noting that More Yaoi forces are coming through a hole in the wall Lighave prepares to face them. He pulls out his Bow Shooting a few arrows Freezes Three Yaoi bots and a Yaoi before Chanting out.

"Guddommelig Vind som jeg s°ker din kraft.
Knus disse toskene.
Hyl og raser.
Rift Og River.
Vinder av D°d
Cyclonus"

The wind gathers in front of Lighave, it then starts spinning and blasts forward. The spell smashs through the frozen foes into the main force blowing them back before Yelling out, " I'll see you guys at the Hanger." Before he retreats he throws one last spell.

"Hellfire som brenner kunner i thy sti
komprimerer og blir sterkere
D°mte er de som vender mot thy sinne.
Fortµr de som stÕr mot meg.
Eksploder og °delegg dem.
Flamme av det Fortapte"

He aims the fireball at the ground causing a smokescreen effect and runs off.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing

All Rooster could hear was a very high pitched, very constant tone that gave no sign of releasing him from its grasp anytime soon.

Kind of like his ex-girlfriend.

Shaking his head, he moved towards the new exit he had made. Halfway there a shadow suddenly crossed over him and he immediately ducked, causing the blade that would have decapitated him to fly over his head. Unfortunantly, he couldn't hear the Yaoibot before it stepped forward and kicked him in the chest, sending him into a nearby table.

Even though he couldn't hear, he could tell a rib had cracked. Accepting the pain, Ricky whipped his gun up at the charging bot and walked his shots up the machine's torso. The robot was knocked off balance by the first round before the other exploding shells blew holes in its chest and head, killing it.

By now the ringing was gone, but everything was muted. Picking himself up off the floor, Rooster looked towards the hole in the wall just in time to see a man take a running dive through the window not two feet from the still smoking gap.

When Rooster finally made it to the wall he turned to check how the battle was faring. One of the most prodominant in his view was a man firing a bow at the Yaoists who were pouring in from the ceiling. The man chanted something before creating a smokescreen and even if Rooster couldn't hear, he could tell the man had begun calling the retreat.

Pulling extra clips from his pack, Ricky took a breath before running through the hole in the wall. Into the streets filled with enemies between him and his objective.

'This is really getting annoying.' He just kept casting wave after wave of healing to keep everyone alive. 'I need to do something about this lack of fighting thing' He muttered to himself before casting a healing spell on rooster.

Night One: Zaraki's Ruins 9:30

Marisa slowly hovered out of the broken building, absently remembering that she had to go to the hangar.

She could walk there, sure, but that would be kind of boring.

Problem was, she only had a vague idea of where it was. She only knew the general direction, but she supposed she could float above a house to get a better view if she needed it.

It was times like this that Marisa wished she could really fly. That was her current obsession; looking for a way to not just float and hover, but to really fly, really fast. Then maybe she wouldn't have to walk, ever.

Sighing, she noted the sounds of fighting behind her. Those people could take care of themselves, that much was certain. She only had to fire twice.

A Yaoibot who appeared in front of her exploded, and Marisa lowered her hands.

Okay, thrice.

She continued along the path at a moderate pace. Time to find that hangar.

Night: One, RC's apartment, 9:27pm

Upon reaching his place on the last floor of the building RC took a look out the window and what he saw made him say.
"fuck. I really should start paying attention to my surroundings more."

It wasn't only the Bar that was attacked like he had first thought, it was the whole city. He saw yaoibots dragging some male civilians to a sort of Pod. 'they're probably being taken to be converted' he thought, "a fate worse than death."

Finally opening his Panic Room slash Equipment Storage he sees his favorite toy. Encased in a large glass box that had the words "Break in Case of Emergency" painted on it sat his Mech Suit. so break he did, activating the system via a terminal besides the Suit the chest part opened in which he climbed in.

he sat inside as the chest area closed on him. There were no controls inside in fact RC couldn't even move as he was completely enclosed on the mech though it did not fazed him since the painful part is coming next. a needle shot from inside and plugged in the base of his skull and he lost consciousness.

slowly RC awoke except the eyes he was seeing through was not his own, but his machine's in other words he is now his Suit while his physical body is inside in suspended animation and only his brain is active, and interfaced with his suit.

He,it stood up breaking the ceiling and roof. a towering 14 foot tall Red Robot, the word "CORPSE" painted on its shoulders.

He picked up 5 back packs, which are relatively small discs shaped objects that has Limited Hammer Space Storage capacity. he then loaded them in a compartment in the back.

The first Pack carried his Weapons which include a couple of Launchers, a Plasma Rifle, Sword and Axe, a Relatively Sized Hand Gun and the Siege Kits.

The Second Pack carried all his Ammo, Rockets of Elemental and Conventional variety, Plasma charges for his Rifle and Handgun Ammo of Elemental and Conventional variety.

The Third Pack carried all his Medical and Repair supplies. RC planned on staying as long as he can and that means giving his brain some food, and that's achieved by special cartridges containing liquid nutrients.

While the Fourth and Fifth Packs are empty just in case.

..........

Night: One, Partly Destroyed Apartment, 9:31pm

With everything Ready CORPSE jumped from his room down 10 floors to the streets below, it was official being inside his Suit stirred something long dormant inside him.

(OOC: Man That was a LONG Intro for my Accretia suit, hope to join the actual combat soon)

With a growl, he jumped back, powering it with air magic to enable himself to land on the building roof. "I've had enough of this."

Drawing his bow, he began to unload arrows into the enemies, allowing the others to fight with little fear of retaliation.

"We better move it." He yelled to the people below. "We have to make that hanger right."

Drawing on his earth mastery, he coated his arrows with a new surprise. *BOOOM*

"Say hello to my little friends." He began unloading a salvos of the arrows at enemy reiniforcements, allowing the others to head towards their destination. 'Pity I can't recover them though.' He thought sadly.

Night One; Abandoned Building, 9:45 P.M.

"Come on, hurry up. Man, re-spelling is slow!" TB said as he sent Mana into cards that were laying in front of him. Seals had been added onto each of the cards, but only a few of the seals were glowing.

"Almost...and done!" The seals dissapeared, and in the place of the seals, each card had a picture on it.

"OK. Omega Flare, check. Rejection, check. Cure Drink, check. Meteos, check." TB grabbed his Omega Flare card, and put the other cards in his pocket.

TB got up and went to the window. Then, he took his card and started a chant. "Explosion of power...Beyond the scope of time...Consume...the ignorant...In Flames! OMEGA FLARE!"

The card in TB's hand started glowing, and then columns of fire started to strike from the sky. Most of the attack hit the YaoiBots at what was left of Zaraki's Bar; other columns appeared in various places around the city. Soon, the spell died down, and the seals on the card re-appeared.

*Huff...Huff* Ugh...I thought the cards used LESS Mana, not MORE! TB yelled in his head. It took some time, but soon his breathing returned to normal. He grabbed his bag and took out his map. "Let's see here...I'm right here, so... wait a sec!" TB put the map away, and went to the streets. "So if I'm here, then the hanger is over...there!"

TB started to run toward an abandoned-looking building. He went in, and noticed that the lights were on.

Night One: Zaraki's Ruins, around half-past nine

Three things were on LyonÆs side at this moment.

ZarakiÆs swiss cheese-esque makeover, her small fry status, and, most importantly, Science.

Glorious science.

When the dust began to settle and she slid through one of the gaping holes in the once fine (whole, at the very least) establishment walls, the Yaoists who spotted her go dismissed her as worthless, being both a girl (albeit one traitorous to the cause) and not nearly so noteworthy an opponent as her more powerful companions.

So, aside from a few errant overweight red shirts whoÆd arrived late, and tried to take her on as something to do when theyÆd missed most of the battle, once she was out, she was fine.

And then there was the science. Genetics, in fact.

Lyon was Polynesian, and this was manifest in the colour of her skin, the curve of her cheekbones and lips, and, most importantly right now, her limbs. Being tall was a boon, because it meant her legs were long, and her balance was perfect. Even over this pot-holey, debris-and-body strewn street.

With only her guns to hold her down, book and (crushed) candy safely zipped away in her pockets, Lyon looked back at the stripped, blackened, swaying building that had been ZarakiÆs. The neon 'R' still flickered folornly, hanging by a thread, while pulses of magical aftershock throbbed through the air, the gutted structure still sometimes flickering with gunfire and magical attack, lighting people now and then in horrid snaps of life, their expressions only halfway together, as though someone had set up a faulty strobelight. Torn electrical cables strewed sparks out into the air like clusters of stars, (receiving the supplication of a dead man's hand) and for a second, it was the prettiest thing she had ever seen.

Then one of the people sheÆd ended up entangled with earlier zoned in on her face as he rushed past, and paused.

ôWhat the hell are you still doing here? Get to the hangar!ö

Whoops. Waxing pretentious again.

About to take his advice, she was unfortunately confronted by a a stream of yaoists who had given chase to him, who, once he was out of sight, set their sights on her instead. As they advanced on her, with that idiot villainly banter they were so fond of, Lyon ignored them, getting her bearings, recalling how far she was from the hangar, and how best to get there.

ôOh please,ö one said, holding a sword easily in her hand. ôYouÆve got two guns? What good do you think theyÆll do you against all of us?ö

Not deigning to give a reply, she shot at the handles of their various weapons, so that they dropped them with an overlapping chorus of indignant yelps.

ôHey!ö one shrieked. ôThatÆs not how it works! ArenÆt you going to fight us?ö

With another sigh as she realised that it had been too much to hope they would have just... run away or something, she closed her eyes and shot the six of them down, going for their unprotected eyes and mouths and throats, ignoring the splattery results easily thanks to the night-time, mourning the waste of ammunition. ("Waste not," and whatnot.)

Unable to resist replying, ôNot reallyà and thatÆs why I won,ö she took one last look at the wreck, hoping that everyone got out before it collapsed, and that Zaraki had insurance (though he probably didn't... and it wasn't going to be easy to claim right now anyway), before breaking into a run.

Fucking attackà she grumbled, her hair streaming out behind her as she ran over the broken ground, turning down alleys and backstreets as much to keep from meeting anyone as to get to the hangar more quickly, blessing her legs their length and the fact that at least she wouldnÆt have to do this for very long, because thanks to science, she could eat up the distance when she moved this way.

It was still annoying though. Lyon hated running.

Lots of large explosions echoed from all corners of the city. Nails awoke with a start, to the feeling of being lifted and hoisted on someone's cold, metalic shoulder. Panicking (sp?), he lashed out at the being's head, easily cleaving it in two.

Freeing himself from the machine's cold, dead grasp (heh), he had to reach under the trashed dumpster to free his staff. Racing back up the wall, he hoped he could reach the bar before any of these robots did.

Night One, 9:27PM, TFFA City; Remnants of Zaraki's Bar

"These fuckers are annoying me!" Vex raged and dissected another YaoiBot with a cross-slash.

"Why not give in? We'll take care of you, find you such a nice Boyfriend." One of the Fangirls cooed softly as she floated nearby, just out of the fray.

"I... HAVE HAD ENOUGH. OF. YOU!" Vex roared out, he performed another cross-slash on a YaoiBot, jumping through the wreckage of the destroyed machine and sheathing his Chain-Spears, once he landed he immediately roared forwards at full tilt towards the Fangirl.

Obviously startled, the Fangirl jerked back, then immediately flew upwards, trying to make some space between her and the angry man. Unfortunately, Vex was faster, launching himself up and meeting her in mid-air. His arms were raised overhead, his hands balled into fists, and with a sweeping motion he slammed them both into the Fangirl, spiking her down into the ground with enough force that she embedded into the concrete several inches.

She began to pull herself out of the ground, but unfortunately for her, Vex was still very upset with her. As soon as she raised her head out of the ground, Vex grabbed onto it tightly with his hand, raising her up.

With that he took off at a sprint, the Yaoi Fangirl dragging along the ground as he pulled her along by the neck, releasing a yelp of pain as she hit pieces of debris.

Within a moment, Vex was approaching an undamaged section of city streets, and aligned himself to run close to the buildings, and just before they arrived, he lifted his prisoner up, slamming her into the wall of the building. He continued to run, grinding the Yaoi Fangirl against the building and chipping off pieces of brick and cement.

After several buildings Vex stopped running abruptly, twisting his hips and launching the severely beaten Fangirl into, and threw another building.

After several moments, Vex fixed the collar of his Trenchcoat and ran up the side of a building and began to dash across the rooftops at a rather moderate pace.

"I gotta get back to The Skirmisher." Vex mumbled to himself, he wasn't in any real rush though.

Night: One. TFFA City Streets. 9:35pm

CORPSE is slowly but steadily walking the burning streets of TFFA his hulking armored mechanical body shimmering, reflecting the flames.

Blasting every yaoist or yaoibots he came across with his Missile Launcher. he also managed to shot down a couple of Harvester Ships from obtaining some of those Holding Pods where those yaoi loving creeps are putting the civilians they captured.

he saw as he made his way down town that the situation was going worse, sure most citizens are fighting back some with incredible prowess liked the ones in the Bar.
but the sheer number of the enemy, The element of surprise plus the fact that the enemy is highly organize spell bad news for TFFA.

"I wonder why the army hasn't shown up yet?" he wondered aloud.

it was almost frustrating because no matter how many he turn to scrap or fertilizer there seem to be always more at every street corner.

speaking of more; 30 yaoibots and about 15 yaoist has spotted him and is slowly making their way towards him. while his robotic body is bigger and has tougher armor than that of yaoibots he was still alone and his special armor is his only resistance against magic attacks. so he did thought was best at the time. . . use the Siege Mode.

from a single thought his Back Pack automatically access a Siege Kit which forms a massive attachment enclosing his right arm and his missile launcher.

he then initiated the attack command "Chain Rockets" and predictably hell broke loose.

Night: One. USS Sojourner. Geosynchronous Orbit Over TFFA City. 0600 hours Ship Time.

"Urgh..."

Captain Adam Carter was many things. A morning person was usually one of these things. But at the moment he had a headache that very nearly eliminated every trace of good cheer from his body.

The only saving grace was the shapely lap he found his head supported in, and the concerned face of his chief medical officer as he came to. Blue eyes covered by glasses, curly blond hair, and elfin ears.

"Captain? Captain, good," Doctor Kes sighed. She pulled out a penlight and briefly swept his eyes, making him wince.

"How is he?" Rumbled his first officer, Commander Dirk Castor. The tall, tanned man leaned into view.

"He's fine," the doctor replied. "No worse than the rest of us..."

"How do you get a hangover from... Whatever just happened anyway?" Groaned the ship's pilot, Lieutenant (jg) William Koroshiya. Adam slowly sat up from the deck, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I don't know, Shiya... I also don't know how we could all turn into furries, but it's happened..."

"That was an hallucination, Captain," Kes said firmly. Adam raised an eyebrow at her, noting her mild blush, before glancing around the rest of the bridge of the Sojourner.

She was a small ship by design, and still used the circular layout for the bridge favored by vessels back in Kirk's day. It let you do a quick sweep to make sure everyone was accounted for.

Lieutenant Jeria Wyn, the ship's security officer, cursed and hit her console to get it working properly. The communications officer, Ensign Juhi Saffron, worked at her station, pressing a finger against her ear transceiver as she took in data. CPO Briggs and Crewman Ruug were working their cramped environmental and sensor stations, but at his look they shrugged. They didn't have anything for him.

"Sorry sir..."

"And I was just about to get the high score, too," Ruug mumbled.

His operations chief, Lieutenant Mitena Haro, was standing over their Vulcan science officer, T'Kal of Wisconsin, and shaking her. A few exocomps, cat-sized hovering robots that helped with maintenance around the ship, poked and prodded T'Kal as well, beeping in worry. They followed her around like ducklings their mother, and there was always at least one with her.

"T'Kal! T'Kal! Are you okay? Say something!" Haro shouted.

T'Kal opened one eye.

"... Go Packers..."

Haro grinned and looked over at Carter.

"She's fine!" She hugged T'Kal, as her exocomps began purring happily.

"Good to hear," Carter said, sitting down in his chair.

He looked at Kes, who shrugged.

"No casualties... I checked with all decks before heading here."

"Well, now I don't feel so special," Carter quipped. Kes smirked.

"You felt that way before?"

"A little," Carter admitted. He turned to Haro.

"Haro? What's the news?"

"Well... We don't seem to be our own grandparents," Haro said.

"That's a start," he observed mildly. The half-Bolian shook her short white hair and hummed.

"According to the ship's records, it looks like someone used the deflector dish to generate a really big anti-graviton beam, plugged our subspace field into it, and then the sensors report that things went wooby wavy and poof! Here we are!"

Dirk mumbled "wooby wavy?" under his breath.

"And here would be...?"

"...Two seconds!" Haro said. "I haven't had my daily Wyn hug yet, I'm struggling here!"

"Keep struggling!" Wyn snarled. Haro pouted.

Carter glanced at Koroshiya, who sighed.

"The nav computer's got nothing."

"... T'Kal?"

"... I have asked the main sensors to do a scan of the cosmic microwave background radiation," T'Kal said. She checked her instruments, and blinked.

"It seems to be significantly higher than our last scans indicated."

"Okay... And that means...?" Carter asked. T'Kal sighed.

"We appear to be in another universe."

"..." Everyone on the bridge exchanged looks, before Carter hit his commbadge.

"Tweek..." He said in a firm voice.

"Urrrggghhhh..." Moaned a high pitched voice. Carter sighed.

"Tweek... What did you do?"

"Not so loouuuddd, Captain Monkey... Owwwww..."

"Tweek, we seem to be in another universe. Exactly what the hell did you do this time?" Carter asked flatly.

"Well... I had this great idea last night to try and generate exotic particles using an anti-graviton field within a 1500 Cochrane distortion of spacetime curvature, utilizing the Feynman-"

"Tweek. I have a sign up for a reason," Carter stated flatly. A sign reading "NO TECHNOBABBLE" hung prominently on the bridge bulkhead. Tweek huffed and clicked in irritation.

"Well, I'm not on the bridge, so I can't SEE the sign can I?"

"Tweek, did you break reality again?" Koroshiya asked.

"I didn't break reality... I just... Put it over my non-existent knee and spanked it for a while," Tweek stated.

"Yeah, that clears things right up," Koroshiya rolled his eyes. Carter sighed.

"All right then, let's look for some more clues as to just what the hell Tweek has gotten us into this time..."

Ruins of Zaraki's Bar, 9:25 PM

Lea gave a wild grin to Nanashi they prepared to face off against the black clad Yaoists. "I have dibs on the one on the short one."

"Are you just saying that because she was able to dodge your attack?" Nanashi asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Why else. It's no fun if they die too fast."

The two Yaoists in front of them could barely prepare in time before both of them rushed forwards.

~*~

It didn't take more than a few minutes of fighting for the black clad Yaoist to realize that this man was fast. Able to dodge her blows with easy, send rapid counters in close range with those flaming chakram wheels and even manipulate them at long range, she found it difficult to find an opening. Everytime she got close, he'd instantly phase out to another location. It didn't take long for one of his attacks to dig into her flesh as she felt the flaming wheel burn into the skin of her arm.

"What's wrong? Can't keep up, shorty?" Lea goaded, catching the wheel in one hand as he rushed after her again.

"It appears I will have to take you seriously."

Lea didn't notice the laturn he carried at his side suddenly flash for an instant, but he was able to suddenly feel the strange forboding nature of her comment as he suddenly stoped his charge and jumped backwards. Something flashed from her wound, and in an instant there was a sudden deep gouge in the ground 10 meters long where he would have been standing if he'd kept going.

Forcing himself to get serious, he glanced at the girl with a calculating gaze. "Huh..." He said.

From the wound he'd given her, a huge mass of oversized bug parts had broken through her flesh, condenseing in the end to create a massive blade and letting loose an ominous buzzing sound. The blade itself began to split appart into seperate parts, each wrapping around her sword, making it longer, sharper, and clearly more deadly than it was before.

"Don't die too quickly now." She said, gripping the now monstrous sword tightly. Lea however didn't listen, distracted as what remained of the black mass from her wound returned to her flesh, finally reentering completely with a massive squelch.

Raising an eyebrow, Lea responded. "Okay, now that's just disgusting."

Letting off a growl, the girl swung the sword, the black blade extending forth with various parts of the same black mass he'd seen earlier as it aimed straight for him.

Vanishing in a flash of flame and smoke as the runes lit up beneath him, he gave an wicked grin. Looks like things were getting fun afterall.

Night One: Running towards the Hanger 9:30

Running from the the Ruins of Zaraki's Lighave Hears a Noise, then is blasted in the back by a bolt of lightning. Falling straight on his face, Lighave rolls and faces his opponent.

Enter Lyns?nn Thunor, Brainwashed Elite Grunt

Armor gleaming in the Moonlight, Lyns?nn readies his sword. Lyns?nn yells out "Surrender to the Yaoi side or die." Lighave replies "Why are you doing this? You were one of the fiercest defenders of our world."

"Why? I have seen the glory of the Yaoi side. You do not know the power that they have gave me." Lyns?nn manically replies.
"Yes, Yes the power to pair straight guys up. Such a Wonderful power isn't it," Lighave sarcastically answers getting up from the ground.

"Enough Talking"

Rushing in with his blade held high Lyns?nn slashes at Lighave pulls out his shield and lets his forcefield take the blow. Slicing down the armor of his Opponent he sees the machinery that the Fangirl side had implanted onto Lyns?nn. "What have they done to you, Lyns?nn?" Lighave Questions.

"They have made me Stronger, Faster, and just simply Better." Lyns?nn Claims. The battle resumes as Lighave was blasted by a lightning spell of Lyns?nn's. 'Now I know I shouldn't have cast that storm spell earlier. It makes it to easy too for him to nail me with lightning.'

Lighave recklessly attacks at Lyns?nn's arm with his sword. Causing it to slice through the armor there severely damaging Lyns?nn's left arm. Lyns?nn swings his sword at Lighave's eyes. Wordlessly dodging the blow Lighave returns the favor and Cuts through Lyns?nn's right eye. This Triggers the forgotten memories of Lyns?nn of Glorious battles Against the Fangirl Threat and his own honor.

Lyns?nn Asks Lighave suddenly, "Please kill me"

"What!?"

"Kill me as so I can regain my honor before I revert back to that twisted parody of myself. I remember killing defenseless women and children under there orders. Hurry please before they return me into that state again."

"As So you wish Comrade"

With a swift blow Lighave cleanly slices though his neck giving Lyns?nn a painless death. " You will not be forgotten Lyns?nn Thunor, the Lightning Guardian of Stromwynd." After Absorbing Lyns?nn's soul into the soulstone, He begins running towards the hanger again.

The viral code had easily bypassed any internal security codes that the Yaoibot was carrying and its first job of deactivating the self-destruct mechanism was done within seconds. Gigabyte repeated this process on the other unit so that it wouldn't blow up anytime soon. After all, he wouldn't want to ruin a perfectly intact specimen.

Next was taking care of the encryption sequences that protected the data (assuming the bots had no data termination sequences of some sort). Hopefully, he could find something useful in there.

"Hiya boss, nyah!!"

He barely flinched at the sudden appearance of one of the commander Neko-Arcs. It was dressed in a super deformed outfit that resembled a Nazi officer uniform. "Report."

"Peeerrimeter's all set up! There's some folk who seem ta be headings toward the hangar with all the ship's and stuff, nyah!!"

"Allies?"

"Dunno but there's a big ship that just appeared out of nowhere above us, miyah."

Now this caught the attention of the virus. "I see. No signs of hostility, I presume?"

"I would hafta say no considering the only hostile invaders in the city are the forces of Yaoi, nyah," stated the Neko-Arc.

"That's good." He paused for a moment before speaking again. "I want some of your units to band together and use your Shinsou Beams to send an SOS signal in Morse Code. Hopefully, that vessel orbiting us is willing to provide aid. If you get a positive reply, forward their communications to this location so we can start organizing a relief operation."

"Gotcha boss!!"

"And whatever you do, don't hit their ship or I'm docking your milk pay!!!"

The Commander could only gulp nervously at the tone that Gigabyte just used. "Y-y-yes sir!"

Night One, What's Left of Zaraki's Bar, 9:25 PM

Ray swept through the battle, ducking under the laser barrage as he approached his opponents. Grimacing, he noticed that the remaining two fangirls (the third having already been killed by her own kin) were taken, and he was left with Yaoibots, beings immune to his magic and thus notoriously less fun to kill.

'Might as well make the most of it, at least...'

Quickly spotting an opponent, a black-painted robot that was pressing the attack against the TFFers, he ran across the bar, jumping over tables, bodies, and mechanical husks alike. The robot's sensors noticed him, and raising a gigantic mechanical arm, the thing attacked with a massive barrage of laser fire. Smiling fiercely, Ray gave a giant leap forwards, pirouetting through the air as he dodged the death beams. In a bright flash of light his swords materialized in his hands, and he brought them down in a mad flurry of his white coat, wave patterned blades slicing the robot's arms clean off. As the thing screeched its mechanical agony, Ray twisted around, slamming his right-hand sword into the thing's chest, piercing the inner mechanism. It died instantly.

"Well, well, wasn't that dramatic-"

"FIRE IN THE HOLE!"

'-the hell, emo boy!?'

The Molotov's blazed through the center of the bar, the explosion taking at least two robots with it. Ray jumped back, avoiding the flames...

...and ending up placing himself right on the flight path of the fiery debris from a destroyed robot.

"Well, fu-"

He never finished that sentence, as, at that precise moment, a bright flash of light blinded him and his ears were deafened by the massive roaring of wind.

'What the... did she teleport here already!?'

When the dust settled, a young blonde girl clad in silvery white armor was standing before him, brandishing a resplendent, gold-inlaid sword.

She turned around, smiling mockingly.

"You weren't expecting that, huh?"

Ray arched an eyebrow.

"Serena. Whatever happened to 'on my cue'?"

The girl shrugged nonchalantly.

"A fiery iron meteor about to hit you in the face was as good as any cue, and besides, I was already monitoring everything from the teleporters."

She smiled again, even more smugly this time. For a brief moment, Ray had to suppress the urge to strangle his apprentice.

"By the way, this is another point for the case of you not being able to do anything witho- augh!"

She stumbled, nearly tripping over her own feet as Ray pushed her away just in time for him to block the black blade of another Yaoist.

"Looks like your little whore forgot about the battle," the woman muttered, her pretty mouth smiling evily into Ray's face. Behind her, dozens of rank-and-file fangirls, animalistic, zombified grunts that they were, burst into the bar, attacking the unsuspecting TFFers. More Yaoibots and elite warriors followed.

Ray arched an eyebrow in response. Suddenly, his blades flared with a bright white light, instantly slicing through the fangirl's sword as if it were made out of butter. A twist of the wrist later, one of them found itself buried deep inside the fangirl's chest. The White magic instantly reacted with violence at the woman's corrupted essence, turning the fangirl into dust before she could even scream.

Ray smiled, then ground an armored boot into the remains, dispersing the dust in the air.

"Don't call my apprentice a whore." He turned to Serena. "Are you alright?"

She nodded, though she looked slightly shaken.

"Good," Ray said, then turned towards the battle. The fangirls had already eliminated all of the faceless peons, leaving only the TFFers. "Take the Yaoibots, then. I'll deal with the fangirls."

Serena nodded curtly, but stopped short, looking at Ray.

"I... uh... th- thank-..." she shook her head, then smiled her smug smile once more. "Looks like the templars are back on the street, are they not?"

Ray smiled right back, smoothly ignoring her awkwardness.

"That they are, Godwinson."

They charged into the fray.

Night One, Abandoned Skyscraper Overlooking Ground Zero, 9:30 PM

The young girl walked skittishly towards her superior, clamping down on the urge to turn tail and run. Failing in her attempts not to fidget, she kept playing obsessively with a lock of her silky white hair, trying vainly to calm down. As soon as she reached the woman, she knelt on the ground.

"M-mistress," she half-whispered to the woman before her, as if afraid that speaking too loud might trigger a violent reaction, "my... my report as you commanded."

Her superior kept her back turned toward her, and showed no signs of acknowledgment. For a moment, Ariana remained awkwardly silent, expecting a response, but then, weighing her options, gulped down her fear and began to speak again.

"Our equipment indicates that L-lady Ca... Ca... Lady Catherine d-disregarded m-milady's advice and sent her mercenary, Sq-Squall... closer to the planet's orbit. Also... a- an unidentified ship a-appeared ov-"

"Shut up. I already know all of this."

Ariana's eyes widened in terror, and she immediately fell silent. Somewhere inside her conscience, the young girl's humiliated dignity screamed in agony.

"This report. Did you think..." her mistress spoke, "did you even contemplate for a second that you could know something that I don't?"

"N-no, m-m-mistress, that's not it at all, it's just that you o-ordered-"

Ordered. Never asked. Before she could continue, the woman interrupted her again.

"Ariana."

"M-mistress?"

The red-headed woman turned around, her gaze boring into her white haired servant. For a second, the young girl had the horrible feeling that she was being eaten alive.

"My forces here have moved in on our enemies' location," her mistress stated, "and will keep chasing them through the Slums if they survive the initial confrontation. However..."

"...y-yes, mistress?"

The woman shrugged.

"They will not succeed. Though I plan to appear personally, it is quite obvious that such a group cannot be retained by our own limited forces, our cover is blown, and Lady Genocide will not take long to find my spy and slay him. Once she does that, the military's forces will be sure to overwhelm us."

Ariana nodded, biting her questions down. Wouldn't do for the mistress to think her dumb.

"That's where you come in, Ariana," her mistress said. "Get to our warehouse. Delete every piece of information and thrash the computers. Then, wait for me there. I will teleport us back to the flagship. The rest of our people here are... inconsequential."

She smiled evilly, then stepped forwards, getting right into Ariana's face. Calmly, she brought a pale hand to the girl's cheek, caressing it tenderly. The girl shivered in barely contained fright.

"Don't fail me..."

The caressing hand turned vice-like, the woman's long nails digging deep into Ariana's cheek. The girl bit back a scream - it felt as if any little tug from her mistress, in the right direction, would rip half of her face clean off-, knowing that doing so only tended to make things worse.

"...Ariana."

"H-hai, Issildra-sama."

"Hmm. You truly seem to have placed quite the fear into the young lady." A clipped, smooth tone washed over Issildra's ears. She, being quite composed, did not make even the the slightest twitch, even though the vocie came from a spot that she knew that no one was standing, and she knew that no one had walked up, flew up, or even teleported, to where the voice was now comin from.

All the same, she greeted the newcomer. "Hello, Jacobus. To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?" Turning to look at him, she couldn't help but wonder exactly he had shown up without her knowledge.

Jacobus, as it turned out, was a tall, thin figure, dressed in robes made from the highest quality materials possible, and created with what seemed like molecular precision. The same seemed to apply to the person himself. While almost achingly handsome, is was a bit... off... that a person could be so entirely free of any sort of blemish or mark. His hair was long and white, and his eyes were a deep purple.

He waved a hand. "Oh, nothing much. I merely came to see for myself how the war effort was going." Looking down, he came to a sudden stop, freezing in place, entirely still for a moment.

"May I ask what that was all about?"

He whirled around, as if shocked to hear her, and she in turn was a bit stunned to see his eyes were such a deep purple as to be a solid black. Had she never noticed it before, or was it just her imagination?

"He is here." Was all Jacobus said.

"What? Him who?"

For a moment, he just stared at her with those too purple eyes, then seemed to shake himself out of it. His eyes seemed to lighten back to their not so deep purple color. "Oh, just the eemy that I have been waiting for. You could say that he made me what I am today, and that I can never quite forgive him for what he has done. But this also means I must cut my visit short. Must make plans, be ready, all that sort of thing. Adieu." With that, he turned and walked away, stepping behind an ostruction. One moment he was out of sight, then next, just gone.

He had been turned away, but if she had seen his face as he walked away, she would have seen his face split into an impossibly wide grin for a moment.

Night One, The remains of Zaraki's Bar, 9:32 PM

With the sound of clattering dice, Xaosite appeared out of mid air at a full run before his foot hit a piece of debris, and tripped onto his face.

"Jeez, you'd think I wasn't immortal, with the way they act sometimes. I swear to me, I can take care of myself!" He muttered, still face don in a pile of rubble.

"Besides, I told them I might invite them later. A guy just needs his space sometimes, you know?" He continued o mutter as he pulled himself up right, dusting his clothed off. Looking up, he seemed to take note of his surroundings.

"What, was this place hit by a bomb or something? What'd I miss?" He continued to speak to himself as he stepped out into the street, looking around.

Night One, Not-So Deep Space, 9:28 PM

Damnit..now his job was just made harder.

"Where the hell did THAT come from?!" He jabs a finger at the big ass 'blip' that just appeared on their screen. "Do they know we're out here?" Squall dosen't even think twice as he prepares to warm up the weapon systems.

And he would have too, if Nara hadn't spoken up. Firstly, don't touch my monitors with your nasty fingers!" the AI snaps, causing his concentration to shift back to the screen. "And secondly, we're still way out of the planet's sensor range. Considering what kind of wierdos we're up against, maybe they just attracted another bunch of wierdos."

He leaned back and rubbed at his chin, grumbling under his breath. "Yeah..good point..But we still need intel on where they stand. Hail them, but don't give out names or who the slag we work for. If they even point their hull in our direction, I expect to be informed." He was already on his feet as he barked out orders, making his way down the hall.

"Where are you going?"

"To prep the torpedo bays. I want to be able to pulp that ship if they're TFF."

"I can load the bays just as easily from here."

"Maybe, but I'm going to put some of those Yaoi toys through their paces."

"...what ones?" Even the AI sounded afraid at the thought of what's going to be coming out her chutes.

"The Hyper Porn Scrambler and the Horndog Virus." Those names caused him to shudder, and put on a pair of latex gloves on while Nara actually gasped in horror. No way he was going to actually put bare skin contact with those abominations. They were necessary evils in his job, but it didn't mean he wasn't eager to blast some of them off and out of his ship. Of course, he had more where those came from in the torpedo bay as well, but he decided he should take the responsibility of loading the first of them up.

And Squall had no doubt things would only get uglier from here.
