Sweet.

Anyway, post is up. I figure that there're probably like five or six super Heartless (not Darksides--think BIGGER AND NASTIER) that're going to do the actual destruction of the world--might as well make things interesting for me and have one of them near my dorm.

No reason for it, but SOMEONE's going to have to witness the world having it's heart ripped out.

Well, some one does.

Just to let everyone know, I'll be a pilot once the job choice hops around. Meantime, if Watashiwa doesn't mind, I think I'll be his partner. He get to use Psyblade, my computer get some fancy new functions.

It's not just the Psyblade, though that will be the main power. Remember Neku's pin set? Watashiwa uses blades, barriers and shots.

Those will come later though.

Quick question: when do powers come online? 'Cause I'm going to get POUNDED if I go to watch the cosmic horror destroy the world. And Watashiwa in-game is mistaken as to why no Heartless are around. They aren't around because they're fusing into said cosmic horror, who will soon reach critical mass and start creating artificial heartless out of residual Darkness.

Oh yeah, Nitro's going to get an upgrade upon the destruction. Roughly speaking, to this:

With some red paint and some insane (And light) fuel storage in the cans. Also will learn the Fire spell, but have so little magic that he can barely use it. Unless in conjunction with Nitro. Flame manipulation FTW.

Was considering the one from that other game, but liked this sleek version.

@NGD: Kick. Ass.

@Shaderic: You want to team up? Sure! I always have more fun with these sort of things when I'm bouncing ideas off of someone else. And seeing as my usual pyro buddy is off doing his own thing *glares at NGD* I need to find someone else to fill the role of "How stupidly awesome can we make this" guy.

And honestly, your skill set is a much better balance to mine. Both NGD and I like running in a blowing things up (hey, whatever works, right?) but that becomes a problem when you have no idea where to go after you've roasted the important documents, immolated the people you were supposed to capture/interrogate and and played "My little arsonist" with the building where the map clues were drawn on the wall.

Yeah, I looked through thirty pages of concepts for one, and liked that one the best out of the bunch. From Half life if I'm not mistaken.

Oh yeah, at the cost of its insane fuel storage, the range is pretty poor, but that's where the Fire spell comes in.

Wait till I get the bloody Oil spell. With some insane manipulation, I create some new fuels/make strikes even worse. Sadly that drains everything I was going to learn. Unless I go for Flare.

You want Flare? But you can barely cast Fire!

Anyway, what a good RPG need is music. I recommend that everyone pick a soundtrack to listen to as they write their posts. My choice for my post: Heartful Cry, from the Persona 3 OST. It suits the tone of my post, starting out upbeat and then degenerating as the truth behind my change of heart is revealed, getting upbeat (but awesome) later.

For the actual End of the World As We Know It?, I recommend everyone listen to Persona 3, and The Battle for Everybody's Soul. Appropriate, ne? B)

Yeah, I'm with Watashiwa on this one. That weapon's a little bit over kill. Save it for the end game, please.
EDIT: Ooops, I mean the flare too. If you didn't have any weapons, and just spent all your time between now and the next four months, you might learn a spell about on par with fire 3. Spend about two more months flexing your magic reserves, and practicing, and then you might get flare down and be able to cast it a few times before going unconcious.

After thinking about it for a bit, does anyone mind if I set the music for tomorrows encounters/events?

I've got a pretty large collection, and I'd appreciate suggestions about other tracks to play, but for now, the "Battle theme" for the fight scenes is Mass Destruction.

The Climax! fight theme for tomorrow is "Battle for Everybody's Soul" above.

Other events tomorrow have for their BGM, from the WEWY soundtrack, Calling. Appropriate, I feel.

I was kidding with Flare. I'm well aware of the amount of trouble needed for that one with my current parameters. :sweat2:

And overkill? How so? It's his only weapon, fire based, and the range thing is pretty bad, which screws the guy over with close encounters. We're talking less than ten feet without fire, and even with it it doesn't get much farther, which is limited in use anyway. Worst it has on it is 'unlimited ammo' with his current stock, which is frankly only because I don't see many places selling them.

Though I suppose I could make the cans common enemy drops, of the multiple variety... Would work well for advanced cans by bigger and badder enemies. Works well if he plays conservative till he gets a stock of them.

And of course red balads screw him over. Till he gets Oil. :evil2:

Please, do so anyway.
Also, 2 hours left to armageddon.

Cool, got a skill set picked out, yet?
You probably already know, but I'm going to be a pilot/coordinator. Coordinator meshes pretty well with my GM status, and we'll be needing a pilot. I'm the only one who's volunteered for that build so far though.

I'm gonna try a little of everything. Magic, Weaponry, and Pilot. I won't be anywhere near as good as any of you, but at least you guy's don't need to worry about me.

Crap, popped in a little late. Ah well, when a world ends, peices are left behind first before it all goes, so I could argue that for the scene.

Edit: Or when he posted it literally was the end, and the internet got screwed up at that exact moment, until the laptop shifted into MAGIC NET FORM, and the post went through. :p

Also, since I'm in Twilight Town, I might as well bargain for a ship. My character won't be able to fly well (Like at all), but as long as he gets it to where you guy's are in kinda one piece, it might be fine.

Well, either that or I use the train in the unconfirmed way. :p
