Naruto The Idiot Idea Thread.

Inspired by a 1-off comment in Psyckosama's rewrite of Making Uzumaki.
Idea: Sasuke seeks out the cultists of Jashin and has them perform the same secret techniques they used on Hidan, thinking that immortality would help him against Itachi.
Bonus points if he seeks them out either during or immediately after part 1, and a side effect of the techniques is that his ageing is arrested.

I almost almost want to do a high school Fic complete with all the stupid OOCness and drama and self inserts you always see. Then after a chapter one of the characters realizes something is wrong and goes on a murder spree, accidentally breaking the illusion, with the plot climax revealing Madara succeeded in putting the world under Mugen Tsukiyomi but the Shinju hijacked it and created a horrifying illusion - a high school setting.
I can say that this fic put into perspective just how necessary each person in team 7 is. They're all fucked up in some way.
And it's scary how it seems that Naruto is the most grounded person on team FUBAR despite all of the shit that happens to him and his general cloudcuckoolander personality portrayed in this.
But I can at least say that I have a new respect for Sakura's value to the team after reading this and the newest chapter.

That's because Naruto is so high on the Fucked Up scale he's achieved Zen.
And I kind of disagree about Sakura.
As much as she contributes to the team, I can't help but feel that, on an emotional level, she's out of her depth.
You could argue that she acts as a much needed grounding/stabilizing force, but when it comes to emotional wounds, Naruto has a much better track record in healing than she does. Mostly because of the above mentioned Zen.

Given how much stuff Kishi has ripped off paid homage to from Dragon Ball, Naruto's ultimate attack that will win the war will be a Rasengan attack that he holds above his head and charges up with the chakra of the entire Shinobi alliance and free Bijuu and throws it at Madara. It'll be called the Spirit Bomb True Oodama Rasengan
