Pettanko?

Prequel novel, remember. Misaki is probably only 12-13. Touma himself may only be 13-14.

I know, I just wasn't quite expecting it to be that far back... I was thinking maybe a few months before the first volume.

I don't know what that was, or what it means, but I like it!

It's a PV for TAMNI's 10th anniversary, but it had characters from Kamachi's other works in there too.

That's because its purpose was to hype you up for the crossover novel

So a preview has been released of NT11.

Pre-series Touma is so frank it hurts to think he's dead.

This.

Pre-Touma gives little to no fucks. I wonder how this incredibly blunt person would've fared in all of the shit Touma-two went through...

I've decided not to give you spoilers this time around, so have this completely out of context picture instead.

...The fuck is wrong with his arm?

The spoilers would be nice...especially since that fucking picture is making me insanely curious...

Trans has started in the usual place.

Middle school Touma continues to be fucking hilarious.

After seeing the full picture and one of the pics after it, I've decided to change my answer to - Touma's arm is still broken from NT10.

I think it's just the way it's drawn. The arm can be put into that position without too much discomfort, I just tried it. But every time I see that image I cringe, because it looks like he busted something in the process.

Gonna wait until my next day off to read it, but judging from that reaction it's quite sad?

Some of the novel. There was still a lot of awesome, and it was nice again to see first!Touma and the differences between him and current!Touma. Still big on saving people, but less flustered by women and he really doesn't give any fucks.

Did anyone else feel genuinely sorry for the villain?

I mean at first I was more "Seriously?" than anything. But the more I thought about it, the more I sympathized with her.

I also find myself having mixed feelings on the pedistal that Touma has been placed on.

In some ways its starting to feel like Touma is an avatar of rescue to several characters rather than an actual person.

Blame the author for that one. That's just about all Touma's been reduced to, someone to save the heroine of the novel. Be it Index, Aisa, Mikoto...

The villain definitely seemed petty and self-centered at first, until her real motivations were delved in to. Then it got kind of dark and sad. And as for Touma, it's been mentioned a few times now that not only is that a core aspect of him, but how people view him is somewhat distorted, viewing him as a righteous hero when really all he's doing is whatever he feels like. And while people are still going to view him like that, it was definitely nice to see character development on his part throughout New Testament. From worrying about how his actions might be used for other's personal gain, to deciding that sometimes he needs to do things for his own personal benefit as well.

Really, though, the whole thing with Misaki is kind of depressing. When he mentioned remembering her scent, it made me think that maybe this isn't the first time she's popped up to him since he lost his memories. =(

Oh man, the science side is gonna attack now, and with the Kihara's leading the attack this is gonna be good

It was cool finally seeing what Pooch!Kihara could do. He's been sitting around for so long as a side character, and we finally got to see him in action.
