There was Devistator and Ravage in the trailer. It has earned my attention.

I'll need to hunt down the trailer, but with a few small things, the first movie was fantastic, and i have high hopes for the second.

One of the few small things IS devastator.... He WAS in the first movie. Or rather, a different robot by his name. The giant tank guy? The movie named HIM devastator.

/confused.

Actually he was misnamed in the movie, though corrected in basically everything else including the toys. The real name of the Tank Decepticon in the first movie was Brawl.

Fortunately, the second movie seems to be making up for that mistake.

Also, you can see the trailer on the movie's homepage.

And correct me if Im wrong but was it me or did a fricken aircraft carrier transform? Wasn't sure if it was doing that or being destroyed and since my Internet is like shit I don't want to risk going over the bandwith, FairPolicy sucks.

Rewatches teaser.

Actually that is Devastator, I'm pretty sure. If you notice when he shows up at the end, he's got a crane serving as each arm, suggesting him to be the gestalt.

How'd he replace one? I mean IIRC those things are assembled on site.

?

TFW2005 had the article on the toy. Though I'm not sure exactly how someone got their hands on the toy in the first place. Personally I don't really care because I don't have the money or interest to care about transformer toys much anymore.

Damn...that is awesome. I wonder how he came to be.
He's a combiner, I still have the old toys though one of them broke making it impossible to link up

Looks like they changed the parts around some, the Head looks a tunnel boring machine.

I thought that was what it was, Though now I have to wonder who they will bring in to fight that thing. If I remember right it took Omega-supreme to fight it in the cartoon, but then I haven't seen the cartoon it good quality since 1993. Was there a Auto-bot combiner in the original?

There's a list.

Scroll down to where it says the 3 or more combiners and the scramble city ones, and those will be the ones you are (generally) thinking of.

And to be completely fair, in the cartoon movie after the attack on Autobot City, Devastator came out to play in Astrotrain when they were fighting over who got to take Megatron's place. And fucking RUMBLE just smashed the ground a bit and caused them to break apart.

They had Superion but he only appeared after the Stunticons, as I recall Devastator was usually beaten by his own stupidity or deus ex machina when Omega Supreme wasn't around.

I've heard tell of a transforming aircraft carrier so they may well be going with Omega, though a flight of planes diving down to form Superion would be pretty sweet.

So I wasn't the only one who thought that the air-craft carrier was transforming. If it does turn out to be Omega, good for us, if it isn't oh shit, Devestator and whatever that is means Auto-bot's are more screwed then before. Oh and any clue how they are going to bring back Optimus after they kill him?
