What do you think of the Dark Icon Writers?

Maybe not an ass, but he surelly does not care for his own work...and surelly has no respect for readers.

I pointed that out on our pleasantries at those times...and I sure remember he got upset with me.

...

And please, let's not forget Return to Hinatasou. That story was soo cool...and yet it is abandoned.

I have it, as well as others from Little Tart/Little Wooden Boy...

Frustrating to read them it may be though...no end for them.

I can send them as well, but PM is not good for such. Indeed e-mail is a better option ^_^

I tried reading that at the time, could not get past I think it was the second chapter, I just did not care for it, which is why I don't have it.

Really?

I really liked that story...but anyway it is something to forget, as it will never be finished...

Ah, I even remember him telling us that if someone wanted to pick the fanfics and finish them, to send him an e-mail...

Ma ne...

Now Comfort...that story is the one that made me fall for Tsuruko...and it was treated like that...

The Book...not really much on that story for me.

Woot, Voidhawk and DP are here!!!! Welcome to TFF guys, great to see you all :) And I go to FF.net all the time hehe and I agree with some of the comments on it. It can be really wacky to use and there is indeed a good amount of poorly executed stories but some are darn good :) Oh yeah, I am also a member of the Phoenix Souls but I only am a beta becuz I couldn't write a story to save my life lol. I am ok now but I hope to get better at it eventually; as they say practice makes perfect right? ;) Peace out all and ahhh I feel so nastalgic hehe I post here like I do at BZ <------- points at such a low post count hehe. I really need to post more and Hawk and viodhawks stories rule!!!!

Peacemaker out

Heh

Hello my friend!!!

Long time since I saw you, hope you are fine! ^_^

Hah, hope you liked the last chapter...I know the Onsen was a bit different from what you expected, but yet I said it would be a Turning point on MF ^_^

Heh, low number of postings...well, my count on BZ's is over 3000, but I am new here ^_^

Really thanks for the compliment...and hope you like ANTITHESIS, as soon as I post it ;)

About writing, give it a shot. Do it with passion, and try! If you want a pre-reader, I am ready to help. Just do not expect me to help with grammar ne :p

Jah ne

My view on flames is simple, yet not.

A comment that simply attacks the author or the fic without providing any sort of valid commentary on the work itself is a Useless Flame. These should not be done.

A comment that attacks the author or the fic, but DOES provide valid commentary and criticism is a Flaming Criticism. I tend to give these when I'm pissed off at an author's apparent lack of effort, blatant abuse of the language, or their sheer idiocy (typically includes disregard for the fandom's source material). For me, they often start as Useless Flames, but my conscience forces me to change it to something valid. (Little bastard can dodge bullets. :p)

A comment that addresses the flaws in the fic and includes advice on how to fix them has greater value than a comment that fails to furnish said advice. Either is acceptable, though.

A comment that is generally positive, or only lists ideas that the fic gives me, isn't a bad thing (I think), but neither does it have any real worth. I think everybody here does this one a lot. ^_^

Regarding authors for whom English isn't the mother tongue: I agree that a grain of salt should be taken with their writing - you can't expect them to be as proficient as habitual English-speakers should be. However, you'd not be doing them any favors by ignoring their mistakes; how are they going to improve their proficiency with English if they're not corrected when they slip up?
All it means is that you, the reviewer, should be more patient and forgiving with them than you would with a native English speaker.
And I am certain that the language barrier isn't a permanent obstacle to good writing; several forumgoers here at TFF are proof of this.

i'll agree there is a great writer in the Inital D Section who was almost banned because he wrote one of his stories in a script format and didn't change it over.
i agree some stories need flaming but they are rare. most need alot of help and i mean ALOT of help.

what i have found is realy th4e only stories in the naruto section are M rated. i mean if your looking for a good story line in a naruto story look under M rating and nonyaoi.

if you have seen inital D and want a good read go on FF.net and in the inital D section there is a series of 5 stories under the name Programmed Lives. they are some of the best fanfics i have ever read.
Well Southside, it did had some of the good moments before the trio began wrecking our lives back then. Oh, and yes, Sweeper and I had probably discovered something; And that is about both The Wiseman and ShishouTabris. Managed to read in between the lines from the e-mails I get. He maybe the very same person with a different account. How cheeky.
