out of curiosity whats InForce?
The abilies belonging to three of the Royal Knights; Alphamon, Omegamon, and UlforceV-dramon.

Alphamon: Can rewrite time again and again when faced with an attack he's unable to beat. Can continue to do this until he wins.

Omegamon: Can see the Future.

UlforceV-Dramon: Can regenerate so fast that even direct deletion attacks can't keep up with him.

In addition, these three are extremely powerful, even by Ultimate standards.

In the Digimon X-evolution movie Dukemon was kicking Omegamon's ass and only lost because he let himself be stabbed.

After he was struck down he came back even more powerful than before. Does he have some inforce ability as well or is he just that much better than Omegamon?

Omegamon and Dukemon never really fought. They clashed like one or two blows before Dukemon let himself be stabbed so he could return as Dukemon X.

Omegamon seemed way stronger then Dukemon and seemed quite confident that he could kill Dukemon though killing his friend would be painful.

Omegamon X rewrote the Digital World in one strike.

This makes me wonder what would happen if Digimon meet Disgaea and Touhou.

UlforceV-Dramon also never get's tired or needs to rest or eat or drink or breath or use the bathroom or any of that 'not fighting' crap.

And Omegamon X didn't rewrite the digital world with one blow, he DELETED the Digital World with one blow.

It's just that the Digital World (In X-Evolution) apparently respawn's like Digimon do.

They stumbled back a step as one, but the resolve in their eyes didnÆt falter.

Archangel sighed.

ôItÆs not as though I dislike people who are persistent, but it seems like a waste in this case.ö He closed his eyes and gave it some thought.

After a moment, he nodded to himself and opened his eyes again.

He slides into a stance neither of them recognized.

Among magicians, seeing anything unfamiliar in a combat situation would put anyone on guard, and they immediately lifted their fists. Of course, neither of them was particularly skilled at Supernatural Martial Arts, so they put up shields as they did, but Archangel still didnÆt seem to be in a rush.

ôDidnÆt you find it odd? I mean, how I was restrained?ö He began. ôI mean, thereÆs nothing wrong with being cautious, but didnÆt you mind the nature of my restraints strange? There were a number of wards and seals to restrain my magic, butàthere were, like, two hundred different spells binding my body. They even brought in Gleipnir, here. This is one of the most famous Artifacts in the world and one of the most powerful. Its effects may be limited, but for physically binding a target, nothing can compare to it? Why waste it on a child? After putting up a Magic Repelling Field, there shouldnÆt be any point; a reasonably powerful physical barrier should be enough, right? But instead they gave my all those seals and walls and restraintsàDidnÆt you wonder why?ö

Goblin had felt something grow within him during ArchangelÆs speech; a desire to not know.

But even so, if it was important, he had to know. In this situation, it could mean life or death.

ôWhy?ö He asked.

Archangel glanced behind him, looking at Guile. The Dragon had already sat down and was looking on in amusement.

He knew what was going on.

ôThe historic purpose of a Familiar is to protect the magician while heÆs casting spells. To put it more simply, the Knight protects the Wizard. ItÆs natural, because the Knight is better at close-range combat then the Wizard. But itÆs not always like that; Familiars, I mean. Some just arenÆt very good at combat, or donÆt have the mindset for it, or are simply troublesome in such situations. In that case, the Magician generally protects the Familiar and the Familiar stays back and casts spells. ItÆs the same thing, just with non-traditional roles.ö Archangel said. ôAnd from that horrified look on your face, I think youÆre beginning to understand, arenÆt you Goblin?ö

Lynx didnÆt get it, but everything seemed to snap into place in GoblinÆs mind.

ôWhen I first found Guile, he was literally in the process of being born. And as a baby, he couldnÆt really protect himself, so I couldnÆt use him as a conventional familiar. But even newborn DragonÆs have incredible magical power, soàwe switched roles. I was always more of a support spell kind of guy, anyway. Now that GuileÆs a bit older and IÆve learnt how to change his physical appearance, we could switch roles. Actually, we often do, because the best way for him to learn is with experience. Butàif itÆs a physical fight, IÆm the more dangerous choice.ö He said confidently.

Lynx stared at him silently, glancing at Goblin to see if his partner believed this. He did, at which point Lynx began to get a bit worried.

But he still didnÆt back down. If it was a choice between Archangel and Hypnos, Archangel seemed like he would at least kill them quickly. That was all Lynx needed to know.

Archangel didnÆt even blink as he watched them.

ôEven knowing that, you still wish to fight me?ö

They nodded.

He sighed at that.

ôI see.ö

The spells around Lynx broke in an instant as the blow pounded through them and caught him in the stomach. The smaller Archangel lifted him off his feet with that punch as well and kept him in the air even when he fell into unconsciousness.

Goblin frowned as he noticed something odd.

ôHeÆs alive.ö

Archangel nodded.

ôI put him under the same spell you came to ask me about. HeÆll stay asleep for as long as I wish, which is until a bit after midnight.ö

ôIt would be more merciful just to kill him. When Hypnos-ö

ôThat wonÆt be an issue.ö Archangel said. ôIÆm going to crush Hypnos tonight. By the time you wake up, theyÆll be gone. Its New Years, you know; take advantage of it to make a resolution. I donÆt care what it is, but if you dislike Hypnos as much as I doàthen leave it behind for the New Year, Goblin.ö

Archangel set Lynx gently on the ground and stood to face Goblin, butàthe fight seemed to have gone out of him.

ôMy name isnÆt Goblin, you know.ö He said tiredly.

Archangel hesitated in his attack to respond.

ôI know. They gave us these names when they took us. Do you remember yours?ö

Goblin shook his head.

ôI was too young. I think we were all too young. But IÆve always wondered what it was.ö

ôàThen go find it. This year, go find yourself a name. And just so you knowàö

Archangel disappeared and Goblin felt an impact to the back of his head. It wasnÆt hard, butàhe felt sleep coming for him a moment later.

ôMy name is Matsuda Takato.ö

Matsudaàjust like those twoà

Goblin fell forward and Takato caught him. He set him beside his partner before standing.

ôCome on, Guile. We have people to crush and a Sleeping Beauty to save.ö

Hypnos means Sleep so it's kind of ironic that they're trying to wake somebody up. It also means Yamaki, and the Monster Makers, what about Jenrya, since his father is part of that group how would that affect him?

The Wild Bunch (well, Janyuu at least) had some dealings with Hypnos, but like in the series, he broke them off when children became involved. He and the others weree ones that developed the method to artificially induce magic, which was why Hypnos wanted him in the first place.

Jenrya doesn't know about Hypnos, though, but Takato knows about Janyuu (he doesn't know he has a son, though).

Oh, and also:

Takato is a man. With a Dragon. It had to happen and you know it.

And the fact that he was around long enough for Takato to ride him is an eternal burden upon my soul, yes. Though, technically, Growmon was his first dragon (Demon Dragon Type Digimon), who I believe he did ride at some point, but besides 'down into the tunnel he drilled into', I don't remember where.

*Shakes Head* Kazu and Kenta got to ride Growmon more then Takato did.

Takato shifted uncomfortably in his seat on GuileÆs back.

Dragon-riding was awesome, but it had downsides. The armor like plates that were GuileÆs scales were, wellàlike armor plates.

Normally heÆd just cast a cushioning spell or something, but he was trying to avoid using magic until he was in sight of the facility. The motion detecting and magic detecting wards they were using covered everything in a fifty mile radius.

He was covering the signs of their motion pretty easily; motion was easy. He just had to keep the ward from looking to hardly at his location. However, magically energy that wasnÆt being controlled expanded to cover the largest possible area, which could be picked up by the ward. The only way around that was to tightly control the energy and not let any of it slip through your grasp.

He could do it; hell, he was doing it. He was maintaining an Illusion over the two of them, one that blocked both sight and hearing. He wasnÆt really worried about smell, but he had a different spell blocking that. He was using an Air spell to keep their motion from giving them away via disturbances in the air. Unless they ran into something, they should be fine.

He probably could use a few more spells if he needed too and still give nothing away, but he had no desire to waste them on something as minor as slight discomfort.

He looked down beneath him, not for the first time wondering where the hell he was. Somewhere in Russia, he was pretty sure. He couldnÆt narrow it down any further than that, though, since he didnÆt speak Russian.

Of course, that was the point. If he or any of the other Numbers escaped, theyÆd have a hell of a time blending in without being able to speak the native language. It would be hard for them to stay in a city and remain undercover especially with people tracking them.

Of course, they could try to weather the wilderness, but that had problems of its own. It was still the better choice, though; at least for the Numbers that had secretly learnt survival based spells like he had. That was another thing Hypnos didnÆt teach them, but they found ways of learning anyway.

Well, Takato could always use Keter to understand Russians, so he was better off than most. He also had Survival spells and Illusion spells, meaning that after his escape he hadnÆt had to fly around like a jackass to stay alive, which would have given him away.

Butà

His hands clinched at the bad memories.

HeÆd still been caught eventually. It had just takenàlonger.

ôDo you see it yet, Guile?ö He asked. He wasnÆt proud of it, but he was going to enjoy this far more then he should.

ôI see it.ö The Dragon replied. ôYou should be able to see it if you use your eyes.ö

Takato looked ahead of him, activating Keter absently.

Yes, he could see it. If heÆd used mundane visual perception, he wouldnÆt have been able to, butà

Beyond layer after layer of wards, he could see it.

Hypnos.

ôHome, sweet home.ö He murmured, eyes hardening. ôStop twenty meters away from the wards. WeÆll bring them down first.ö

Takato held tight as Guile began to descend, focusing the same spell that kept the air around them from giving them away into keeping the air resistance from blowing him away.

As he stopped, he took a deep breath. This spell wasnÆt hard, per se, but it was tiring.

ôAnnihilationÆs Decree.ö He spoke and for a moment nothing seemed to happen.

He glanced at the sky to confirm that it was working and nodded to himself before looking back at the building.

ôI hope youÆve all lived complete, fulfilling lives without any regrets.ö He said. ôIf not, well, itÆs kind of late now.ö

ôAn Hour until Midnight, Takato.ö Guile said.

ôI know. LetÆs bring down these wards before Juggernaut sucks us into the sky.ö

There are few things that Dragon Fire cannot burn through.

Magic is not one of them.

Takato leapt through the breach created by his partnerÆs flames. HeÆd handle the inside alone while Guile burnt everything that got in the way to ashes.

He heard screaming the moment he entered. One of those wards must keep sound from escaping, he thought.

He didnÆt even quicken his pace as he heard footsteps approach. Though they were coming for him, they were of no interest to him.

If they were enemies that wanted to fight, heÆd crush them. If they avoided him, Juggernaut would suck them into the sky later. And if they were allies, if he even had allies, then heÆd take them with him when he left.

Either way, it didnÆt really matter to him.

NowàletÆs seeà

The wards around this place indicate that the most heavily defended location was that towers. In that case, odds were that was where everything important was.

Still, he should probably confirm that.

ôEye of Judgment.ö He uttered.

Red flame burst up around him like a bonfire, burning from his feet to a yard over his head.

He held back a sigh. So flashy; ideally, this spell wouldnÆt exist at all within the visible light spectrum, butà

Oh well. It served its purpose.

Most of the spells energy was invisibly stretching throughout the compound. This was his personal searching spell; not as good as Keter but also no reliant on visual perception.

He nodded to himself after a moment as the grasping claws of his spell relayed information to him; the general layout of the area (which hadnÆt changed that much in his absence), the approximate number of people in motion outside the Tower, their distance from his location and the general direction of movement, and, more usefully, their power relative to his own. It did the same to the area, but there was nothing of note-worthy power outside the Tower.

He guessed the buildings around him were sleeping quarters and other facilities for the workers. He wouldnÆt know; heÆd always been kept within the Tower. Apparently, transportation was a security risk, so they had never let them go outside of it.

Takato still remembered his first step outside of the Tower. His hands had been dripping with the blood of his enemies, his left eye had been black, his lips had been split, and he was fairly sure something had been broken; he hadnÆt actually gotten to see the medical report, though, soà

Still, it was one of his best memories.

He shook himself.

He had work to do. He could reminisce over the mutilated corpses of his enemies.

ôGuile,ö He thought, communicating with his partner via telepathy. ôDo you have any use for anything outside that Tower? Because I donÆt.ö

His only reply was a rain of fire. Literally. It began to rain, only instead of drops of water, it rained tiny little fireballs.

Screams began almost immediately. As for Takato, the rain fell upon his as well, but it hurt him no more than actually. This time it wasnÆt anything he did; his partner had made the spell leave him be.

HeÆs gotten better since I left, Takato thought. But then, Guile always was better at offensive spells then he was.

He closed his eyes as he continued through the rain.

ôHmàbut, wellàif I can use my stylesàI wonÆt lose even to him.ö He said, lifting a hand and concentrating.

The Aspect of the spell was Fire and its color was Blue, the traditional color of Water. In other words, it was a fire spell that imitated water; in this case, rain.

He gently touched the spell with his own power and let Guile know he was there. It was easier to do this with the casterÆs consent.

Guile let him do as he pleased.

He didnÆt change the color or the Aspect; no, that was too basic. He left the Aspect untouched and instead added to the coloration.

To Blue he added Yellow, the color of the wind. Blue and Yellow mix to form Green, the color of the earth and life. The result with a fire spell that functioned not only like the rain, but like the wind. And not just that; it grew like a living organism.

Normally, magical colors donÆt work like this. Adding another color to a spell simply meant it had two colors. Blue and Yellow should have stayed Blue and Yellow. And even if they did mix, the result should have been just Green; Blue and Green mix to create Green, not Green, Blue, and Yellow.

This was Harmony. Things existing in accord; compatibility and coexistence.

So he opened his eyes to look at it.

The embers that rained from the heavens grew and spread. They climbed the walls, they blew through the air in impossible ways, they merged together and separated and grew larger and larger; everything burnt. While his eyes were closed, entire buildings had been consumed. And not just bust buildings; trees, rocks, even the water. It grew over them like moss, it lashed at them like the wind, and it swallowed them and suffocated them like the oceanÆs waves.

He looked at the sky and at the clouds Guile had enchanted and chuckled as they burnt.

How did the saying go? Ahà

Two in Harmony surpassed one in perfection.

He looked forward again. The Tower was still unharmed. He hadnÆt chosen to spare it, butà

It was only because he hadnÆt bothered too.

He knew something of this level wouldnÆt take it down; which was good, since she was still in there. But even soà

His mood quickly soured.

Yes, without a doubt, he was in there.

Hypnos001.

Archangel144 stepped into the tower.

æIt was bigger on the insideÆ was one way to say it, but it sort ofàdidnÆt suffice.

Rather than walking into a bigger room, it was more like heÆd walked through a portal to someplace far, far away. Rather than being in Russia, it felt more like he was walking in the grassy planes ofàsomeplace that had grassy planes.

It was times like this he cursed his utter lack of experience with the outside world.

When he was a child, he hadnÆt thought this place, the first level of Hypnos Tower, to be strange; it was just another part of his life. Now, thoughà

Even though he was inside, there were no walls. There was no ceiling, either. The only signs of him being inside at all were the door behind him and the Spiral Staircase.

He glanced behind him, looking at Guile. He nodded at his partner who promptly vanished as if he never existed, dispelling his physical form. Takato felt a æweightÆ settle on his shoulders a minute later; the sensation he used to describe the feeling of GuileÆs metaphysical form.

He was inside as well, then. With that in mind, Takato shut the door and turned around.

The Spiral Staircase was about twenty feet in height and then cut off in midair. It didnÆt touch anything and there didnÆt seem to be a floor above them, but Takato knew from experience that if he climbed those stairs heÆd reach the next floor.

Such was the will of Hypnos.

But before he could do that, heÆd have to fight. Unless that guys was just standing there for the view, at least.

ôMy, my, my.ö Takato said, forcing himself to stay calm. Last time theyÆd fought, it had ended badly for him. ôIf it isnÆt the Iron Tyrant. Hello, Tyrannosaurus.ö

ôHello, Angel Wings.ö His enemy greeted.

Takato kept his hands from clinching into fists but it was an effort.

Tyrannosaurus21, the Iron Tyrant, was one of HypnosÆs stronger fighters.

Which was why he was usually the one sent to retrieve Numbers that try to escape. He was the enforcer of Hypnos, hence his name, the Iron Tyrant.

More importantly, in TakatoÆs eyes, he had been one of the people sent after him when heÆd tried to escape. Well, not really try; heÆd escaped for quite awhile before they successfully hunted him down. Unless heÆd been one-upped since, he had the record for longest escape.

But heÆd still been found. And when he had beenà

Hypnos had done most of the work, so the Tyrant couldnÆt claim that heÆd defeated him on his own, butà

There was a reason he called him æAngel Wings.Æ

Because heÆd torn his off.

Guile æshiftedÆ shoulders; a wordless reminder.

Yesàthat was a long time ago.

Yeah, most of the fights will be in Takato's favor, mainly because he's fighting mooks and elite mooks. It'll mainly be me introducing the magic system, actually.

Of course, then he'll reach Hypnos001 and that fight will be as brutally onesided as it was last time. Of course, Takato knew that to begin with, which is why he set up Juggernaut.

Takato took a deep breath and nodded to himself.

A lot of things had changed since then. HeÆd changed.

And no matter what, he could not afford to lose this fight. He had to get to her and that meant he had to go through this guy, first.

Still, traumatic experiences were hard to work through.

At some point, he should really get someà

Therapyà

Now there was an idea.

ôYou know, Tyrannosaurus, IÆm having trouble remembering. WhatÆs your level again?ö Takato asked.

Tyrant laughed.

ôTrying to put up a brave front, Angel Wings? As if you could forget; Level 4, same as you.ö

Takato could have laughed at his relief but chose instead to smirk.

ôFunny that; you see, I just finished reading my old guide book on magical power.ö

That was a blatant lie; no such thing existed. Or he didnÆt have one, at least. Nonetheless, he cast an illusion to make it seem as if he was holding it in his hand just for show and æopened itÆ randomly.

ôAnd it says right hereàah yes, that if one is to spend time in a place where they can both concentrate and practice and they stay there, practicing and concentrating, for a large amount of time doing nothing else, their power will increase immensely, especially if they were to follow a carefully designed training program, such as the Energy Manipulation Exercises Hypnos came up with and the Elemental Conversion Method designed by Matsuda Takehiro.ö Takato explained matter-of-factly. ôOf course, thatÆs not the only way to increase power. Near death experiences have been known to cause changes in power sometimes, both positive and negative, as have other traumatic experiences. Of course, birth, the way you were raised, the way you were treated, the climate, the composition of your diet, and everything else that could affect physical and mental growth could also affect magical growth, though rarely in the same ways. But the main way has always been active effort and training.ö

ôàWhat? What the hell does that have to do with anything?ö

ôAnd this last yearàoh, man. Where to start?ö Takato said, speaking over him. ôWell, letÆs start with what you rememberàI got destroyed.ö

ôHahaha, yeah, I remember.ö He said, nodding. That memory was a lot better for him then it was for Takato.

ôYup. All by Hypnos, his two bitches, you, and a bunch of other people who apparently had nothing better to do that day. I lost outright. Hypnos beat the shit out off me and the rest of you just rubbed salt on my wounds in a successful attempt to instill deep childhood traumas or something. Honestly, in the most of a year that followed, I had nightmares of that day pretty much every night, I swear.ö Takato continued to pour out his heart. ôAnd I had a long time to stew in it, let me tell you. You guys basically locked me in a box. Not much to talk about there. Well, there is one thing; I found a way around your wards and seals and spent all that time practicing. Revenge is a good motivator, by the way; something to keep in mind. But honestly, I donÆt think all that time in there did much good for my mental health. You lock a traumatized kid in the dark for nearly three hundred days, and, wellàyou donÆt want to know what went on in my head during my darker moments. I came in here in an attempt to play hero, but for quite awhile there? Damn. Sometimes even I didnÆt want to be in there with me; it was disgusting.ö

Guile was a comforting weight now as he curled around him.

ôWhy are you telling me this?ö The Iron Tyrant demanded. ôWhy would you tell anyone this!?ö

ôBecauseàfor therapy to work, you have to be honest with your therapist. And I know youÆll tell anyone, Tyrant.ö

Tyrannosaurus had long since realized something was horribly, horribly wrong.

ôBut I hate you; why would I-ö

He was cut off by a sudden flare of power. ArchangelÆs entire body was glowing again as he let all of it out for the first time in so very, very long. It manifested not only in visible light but all across the electromagnetic spectrum. ItÆs most obvious aspect, after the visible light portion, was as microwave and infrared radiation, manifesting as a large amount of heat. Tyrant had to quickly bring up a shield to keep from being burnt by his power alone as he glowed like a Dying Star.

ôNow stay right there and IÆll shoot you.ö Takato said.

ôUmàö Tyrant suddenly blinked. ôDonÆt you mean or IÆll shoot you?ö

ôI know what I said!ö
