Miscellaneous Ideas Topic
Okay, I don't usually post Marvel ideas but the inspiration for a somewhat interesting AU came to me a while ago and I thought I would put it down here.
First off, assume Wolverine somehow regained enough of his old memories to at least know that he is Victor's half-brother much earlier in canon. He still wants Sabertooth dead for supposedly killing Silverfox and all that, but he recalls that Victor is actually family. Heck, it might even be far enough back that it was before Wolverine was mind-wiped now that I think about it. It's a hard call either way.
ANYWAY, Logan is tracking down Sabertooth for one reason or another only for the trail to lead to an orphanage and a very young and bitter Graydon Creed. Now Graydon is scared of his father, hates his mother for abandoning him for the crime of being a flatscan, and is generally a festering pile of angst. All of a sudden, here comes Uncle Jimmy to the rescue. Logan might not be able to adopt Graydon, per se, but now he's at least trying to visit and be part of the kid's life. We all know that Logan has a soft spot for troubled kids. Imagine a world where he found Graydon in time to salvage the boy's idea of what a mutant is.
Graydon would still hate Victor and Raven, but he's come to the opinion that Uncle Jimmy is proof that not all mutants are bad. Which means he might be more interested in his siblings in Kurt and Rogue in a positive way. Heck, it means the FoH might never come to be. Either way, we know that Graydon is a successful leader and organizer of people. How would the world change if Wolverine had a hand in shaping his life as a child?
