Durandall's works

Checked up on the TFF C2 and noticed he started posting again on FFnet. What, did he get tired of not having attention on him?
. . . Is it really that satisfying to immediately assume the most negative reason for why anybody does anything?
I am a negative person. Also, Durandall throwing a hissy-fit about not getting enough constructive criticism when he stopped updating on FFnet annoyed me intensely.

and if you remember that AN he also said that he would still upate his FFN account sporadically if at all.

He claims to be the co-author of this.

I think he's more of a beta. I don't see his style in this, though I do see Halbarad's style. One of the only things that changed since his announcement was the update speed. But that can be explained by how long the last chapter was.

it's in his page and another 'new' one, at least form me, where Haruhi wished to trae places with Kyon, ending with the Newly godlike Member of the SoS to put her trough all the series as the token Normal from the begining. (they are all their somewhat canon selves, except for Haruhi who is normal (tough she still is Haruhilike in her motivations and desire) and all the others look like they are acting for kyon (the same way they acted their characters for Haruhi) or they may actually remember what happened before.

I am not impressed. Not with that story or the fact that he's writing more and more stories without finishing his other works. It's a bad sign.

Sympathy is back up, complete, and probably has a cop out ending.

Was it just a cop out version of the story created so the author could claim everything he wrote was completed and of decent quality?

short version:
1. Haruhi gets mad at Kyon and wishes to switch places
2. enter partial Reset and now Haruhi becomes the New Kyon and Kyon become 'god' (mantaining their original character)
3. adventures happen much like in canon until Asakura
4. Kyon recovers his memories and saves Haruhi from Asakura (Nagato didn't pull a Big Damn Hero)
5. Haruhi and Kyon talk, share their powers and agree to return to their original world, with haruhi vowing to get to really know the SoS members.

anyway it felt rushed and the endid didn't resolve anything, i felt that it was an excuse for HaruhixKyon and to share the godly power.

Based on the wording of his website, and my belief of his character, the answer seems a bit obvious. He's a perfectionist as a writer. He took it down claiming it should never have been written, but he couldn't let the failure of an unfinished story plague him. So he finished it in a way that fulfilled his personal minimum requirements.

Does anyone care?

Some stories become boring once they reach a certain length. That length happened a long time ago.

It depends on whether or not the story gets finished. Durandall has finished most/all of his stories (or at least that I've read) so until I see evidence otherwise I'm going to go with an "I not only care, I'm happy."

You mean like how he 'finished' his most recent story?

Anyone else having trouble accessing Durandall's website?

I can't access the main page, or the fanfiction section; and I know my internet connection is still working.

So...Anyone know what's up with this?

i can access the main page, but everything else returns with an error about not finding a server named pishoque.net

I care, and I've been checking on the hour for the site to come back up.

Nada.

It's been down for days.

Anyone got a working e-mail link to him, to ask what's going on?
