Now, that's where you're wrong. As stated in-game HK-47 is completely loyal to his various masters; it's just that most of them are killed because of extreme bad luck. The only exceptions are the Mandalorian soldier, who was indeed killed by HK, but only after the then current Mandalore reprogrammed the droid; Revan, who was HK's original owner and creator, and the Jedi Exile, who's fate is unknown.
As for the idea of Ritsuko building a 'new' HK-47... :yay: It sure gets my vote. Personally, I think Shinji should become HK's master, purely for the oh-so humerous scenes where HK offeres to blast most of NERV into atoms, and Shinji finds it harder to find reasons not to let him do it as the series progresses. SEELE's invasion of NERV after the last Angel's destruction will be sooooo different with an assassin droid with the penchant for mass carnage on the loose. *Evil laughter*
