Ranma ½ I just saw this fic and I hate this about it!

Starts off with Ranma being a prankster. Using pranks that make people homicidal towards him.
Then, when Akane finally figured out that Ranma was pranking people, she snapped. Except she reverted back to how she use to be. To quote Soun in that story, "You know the old saying, 'it's all fun and games, until someone loses an eye', Saotome?" As he pulled out his glass eye. And Nabiki pointed out her artificial hip, and Kasumi pulled out her partial dentures.
The old Akane was quite homicidal. In fact she was forbidden from leaving Japan, by all the other countries of the world. Some terrorist organisations considered her a charitable cause.
It's that type of story.

Grimdark is a kind of reference to supposedly very gritty and dark settings. The kind of settings where nobody can win and the seediest parts of human(oid) personality take the cake.
So, the joke of "grimderp" should logically be something that attempts to be gritty and dark but comes across as dumb.

Grimdark is often used to describe series' like Warhammer 40k and the old World of Darkness games. Where either good doesn't exist, or if it does it's already lost the war against evil. Where the setting itself is against good winning even slightly, and your only option if playing a hero is to go down fighting. Though heros are usually begging for death by the time the setting itself is done with them.
Is there anything NOT to hate about this one? I admit that I haven't read it, but honestly, would anyone of you risk it? First of all it's Ranma/DBZ, which is already pretty much autofail. When I look at the pairing I seriously doubt it would work. But the biggest problem for me is that I can't really see Ranma having a spot in this. Either this will be a Ranma bashfic or Ranma will somehow be turned into a saiyan (like always).
I seriously can't comprehend people that fuse these two worlds together. DB world with rampaging dinosaurs, talking animals and nonearth world map should absolutely never be fused with Earthlike settings. There is even no Japan there, much less Tokyo!
