Miscellaneous ideas topic.
I think I might have suggested something like that in a Spacebattles thread once. It went something like:
Obviously, if Eva=Altrouge then the Lifemaker must be the spirit of the Crimson Moon. Let's say that Brunestud was significantly more interested in humanity than in canon for some reason; maybe Zelretch was born a millennium or two early and their battle gave CM a new respect for mortals (Obviously, their argument was over the relative virtues of tea and coffee. This is Negima, afterall). Following that, the Moon King decided to invade the next closest planet instead, invited a few talented humans along for the ride, and established the Mundus Magicus. Which leads to some of the major differences between the two verses:
1) The age of the gods never ended. Magi still cast spells with words of power and contracts with spirits and the like; swordsmen and martial artists are still capable of shattering mountains. Notably, use of magic circuits is thought to be unnecessarily painful and inefficient - until the death of the Magical World in Chao's timeline when they become standard as per Nasu-canon.
2)All the dicks that would normally form the Magic Association moved to the more magically interesting Mundus Magicus and founded Megalomesembria. The ones who stay behind foster the more lighthearted world of Negi-canon, but the Magical World is full of slavery, pit-fights, and genocide.
There was also something about how Magia Erebea, which was demonstrated to be capable of turning a human into a demon/elemental, was responsible for turning Alt/Eva into the half-Dead Apostle/half-True Ancestor thing that she is. I have more theories related to Magia Erebea and the Nasuverse, but they're unnecessarily wordy.
Oh, and Chao doesn't wield True Magic, it's just that she's so ridiculously hax that she's reduced time travel and the goddamn Kaleidoscope to mere magecraft. Through SCIENCE.

No no, Evangeline is not related to Altrouge. She is Altrouge. Crimson Moon is responsible, he just wanted to see if he could.
You are now imagining a black haired Evangeline.
This has been suggested before. But I can't remember who first threw the idea out. But I just love the idea, especially if her "little sister" comes to visit.
Of course this means that Evangeline would be even more interested in seeing Negi progress as a mage. She can't lose out to Arcueid and that bitch the Blue! Her little mortal must be the strongest of all!
