Hmm... True...
Did catch the flashbacks of the following episodes though, they made it look like it was a hard fight.
But, still, she came across as someone who was supposed to be very powerful...
...
But I did see how Pharaoh 90 fell (or rather, didn't see, they wouldn't show that fight) and all the movies...
...
Did they do that for EVERY final boss fight?
If that's the case, the monsters of the week were harder than the big bads of each arc.

They really weren't. They lost to just Usagi passively using the ginzuishou. Most youma didn't even need more than just Usagi to be defeated. Much less be enough of a threat for all of the senshi to unite. Usagi beat Galaxia with power of love because it was the only possible way she could win. Galaxia was leagues ahead of Usagi in power in the animeverse.
Diana enjoyed the time she spent with Small Lady in the past. The princess had very few friends in her own time, and it was nice to see her be able to make them in this time. She seemed to be getting along quite nicely with a new friend, a blonde girl of about 9 with red eyes.
Unfortunately, the mooncat found there was a problem with this friend from her perspective. The other girl had a puppy. Diana soon found herself being chased all over the park by the dog. The chase became very strange when she heard the dog call out to her.
"Hey! Come back! I just want to chew on you a little!"
"No! Stay away!" She cried out.
Within seconds, everyone in the park within earshot was staring at the two girls and their talking pets.

It's not a ambition. It's just what happens considering she only wants to protect earth from outside forces. Her only dream is to be a bride. Usagi when not fighting in the name of earth and her friends is pretty naive and unmotivated most of the time. She's the Anti-Slytherin whose traits are cunning and ambition.
Don't forget, not all Slytherins even fit into the house. Malfoy's biggest dream was being a follower or like Daddy. Hell, the hat wasn't even on Draco's head before it told him where to go.
And a case could be made that it puts you in the house where you make friends.
Usagi knows she is reborn royalty, has a grand destiny, and has no problem sending evil does straight to hell via a giant pink heart. Cunning she is not. But ambition is out there.
