@daniel_gudman: Thank you for checking, anyway.
Yeah, that was the only thing I could think of that might have caused a ban (that I'd actually done, anyway), and it only occurred to me in hindsight, wondering why I got banned.á The whole point of posting it to SB.com (and I think I might have said that, in a later post) was to get a non-sexual PoV on it!
On another note, aren't we supposed to get a warning for the first offense?á I don't recall ever getting one for previous posts, though if it's been long enough, I could have forgotten it.á Also, how does one go about appealing a ban, if the banning process prevents one from starting a conversation (when I went to SB.com, I saw that there was a message in my Inbox, but naturally couldn't get to it; might have been about the ban, but who knows)?á Anyone want to risk asking about those points, or do you think questioning a mod like that will be a bannable offense?
This is coming from a partially outside perspective (I do post on SB, but I don't think I was ever involved in the threads in question), but perhaps it might have helped if you specified that you were specifically going to keep the idea entirely non-sexual?
I can't quite make my mind up over if I think they jumped the gun or not. I know that if I saw it without any context that there was no sexual intent behind the idea, I'd be very uncomfortable, so I can see why they would lean on the side of caution. On the other hand, I would have expected a warning first. Though now that I think about it, I haven't checked the announcement about NSFW = ban sticky for some time, so maybe it says in there that they are being less tolerant of that particular topic?
For whatever reason, it's rare that I actually see a banning happen (unless I come into a thread I haven't read before, and that's usually over in the debating areas, not Creative Writing or BROB), so I can't really say if no warning before dropping a banhammer under such circumstances is the norm or not.
As for not being able to access the inbox, that's an unfortunate trait of the Xenforo system. I imagine the mods/admins would change it if they could, but I don't think they are able to.

Does SpaceBattles have any Ranma stuff?
I haven't seen much of it (off the top of my head, there's one Ranma & To Aru crossover [though it hasn't updated in a month or two], and Synnecrosis [a Ranma & Fate/Stay Night crossover], which is also available here). It's not as if Ranma fics are unaccepted there, but you don't see them very often.
