So, uh... Twilight then. Not read it, but I have looked into what people of similar tastes to myself have said about it. They didn't like it. They explained why, and I decided to avoid it like someone soaked it in smallpox pus.

And here's some advice for everybody that hates the thing so much. Ignoring it will be far more damaging to the franchise than hate. Dismissing it as tripe is sufficient, if someone asks your opinion. Because if you get angry and respond to it, then the fans of the damn thing will, and I mean will rally behind it. Human nature. You criticise something someone's culture, they will rise up and defend it. Mercilessly. Which means they probably wind up spending more on it just to spite all the mean, nasty people on the Internet that just don't get it.

I'm not sure at this point the "people who don't get it" is really made up of people who really do not get it ;p

Seriously, though they would probably be the most fun group of people to start flame-wars. I mean you could just take a few stock insults and post them in sequence. Also, even better than that would be starting internal flame-wars (you know ship to ship combat?).

Honestly, at this point the loops are more or less dead, I think I've seen maybe, 10-15 snippets or scenes for all of them in the last 3-6 months.

I'd say....that I'd really like to see that done. Though for some reason Genma as a Hariyama just doesn't feel quite right...

I don't know much about Pokemon, but Genma is perfect as-is being a Snorlax.

Also, for a Drowned Spring idea, Spring of the Drowned Portal.

Ranma doesn't actually becomes a portal, but every time he's hit with cold water, he ends up warped to somewhere different. Hot water returns him to where he generally was when he warped out.

Doesn't necessarily means he'll stay in Japan (or even the same dimension) all the time, but he'll always end up someplace that has the same or near-to-same air composition as Earth. And water, just so he isn't autostuck some place (though it might take him a while to find it..).

I just think that's too easy. Genma is frequently thought of in fanon as being nothing but a tub of lard, and Snorlax is a tub of lard, so they must match! Bah. Hariyama is somewhat fat, but he could be thought of as just a larger version of AndrÚ the Giant.

Besides, it's really Genma's panda form from canon that's fat; Genma himself is quite muscled. And Snorlax is just a mountain of lard; I mean it weighs over a thousand pounds. Ugh.

The mention of Fighting types is reminding me of how pissed off I am at Game Freak for having Starter Stage 3 Fire/Fighting types for three generations in a row.

Anyways...

Spring of Drowned Humanoid Duck.

Could be Daffy Duck, Scrooge McDuck, Darkwing Duck, or even Negaduck :evil2:

A spartan drowning in shallow pool in rural china is where my limit on suspension of disbelief starts to kick in. And lets put curtain of silence on possibility he drowned while armored.
