Sherlock.

This is actually really well done. I quite like it. Rather interesting.

The heterosexual life partner thing is done right. I laugh when the misunderstandings occur.

Suits, Alphas, and now Grimm as well. I JUST started watching all these shows and I've got to say I'm rather happy with them.

Watching Freak Encounters. It could be called "Troll--The Show" because the whole purpose is to make someone believe that a monster exists when it's just bullshit. Obviously a candid camera reality TV series, they enjoy setting up an entire set piece and stage "encounters" and make the victim more and more paranoid until the "monster" finally "attacks."

It's fun to watch, but I would hate for that to happen to me.

Currently watching the first episode of the US remake if <a href='http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/House_of_Cards/70178217' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>House of Cards</a>

So far, so good.

Also catching up with 30 Rock. S1E3 is where it becomes the show that people raved about.

Saw the first episode of <a href='http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p014vls5' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Bluestone 42</a>, a comedy set in Afghanistan.

Those of you in the UK should check it out on the iPlayer.

Those of you not in the UK, should consider something like Tunnelbear.

On a lark, watching first couple episodes of Beverly Hillbillies... been a long time since I've seen that series.

Is anyone else going to be investigating Defiance once the show starts? Ironically the ad right above this as I type it is for the game as well...

I caught the first two episodes of Hannibal over the weekend.

If you like a tense, psychological thriller that's quite brutal for US network TV, then I suggest checking it out.

Watching old episodes of Buffy.

I'd been trying to keep away from it, and the fanfics, but my friend got me to read a fun Buffyfic and now I'm hooked.

I thought the movie 10x better than series, but I've been told off countless times online by hard core TV series fans.

Rewatching Farscape. One question. Why the fuck did these idiots keep writing in new annoying female characters! Chiana I could put up with. She matured (sort of) at the same rate as the rest of the group and I was annoyed that the nebari never got their time on screen. But Annoying Old Woman*, Screaming Girl and Scorpius Fangirl.... all I got from them was the desire to kill them and use them as parts to rebuild Zhaan.

*Did we really have to see that scene of her implied to be masturbating? Really?

Watching Defiance and learning to really like it. Not the main characters, per se, but the surrounding cast. I'm really liking the albino alien guy's wife at this point. From the press releases and descriptions of the show she's supposed to be the evil manipulator while her husband is mostly a nice guy. So far her husband seems like kind of an ass that got too big for his advance in station while his wife is the more pragmatic and loving of the two. Even when she was talking about offing her arranged fiancee to marry her husband instead she was likable. And the way she's doing everything she can to make her son happy AND profit from it at the same time without offending the locals is pretty badass. She's like Gendo Ikari with a heart and a smoking hot bod.

The show had a high turnover rate, but I actually liked Jool. She was a princess but I think she could've been saved given another season of growth

Also watching Defiance, have the third episode to go. Still not sure what to think. It's not great, but it's not awful either, somewhere in between. Person of Interest is on that level too.

I liked the movie, but it's rather... cheesy.

I think it's one of those guilty pleasure movies.

A couple of my friends and I decided to watch some old Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons on Netflix. After watching 4 episodes and riffing on them, we decided to watch something else. We considered My Little Pony for a bit, but decided on Beast Wars. Now, one of them has complained for the longest time that Beast Wars sucked. Apparently he couldn't get past the first 5 episodes when they first aired, which to be fair sucked. However, no matter how many times I told him it got better, he still said it was horrible. Trying to find an amazing episode to change his mind, I finally started out on The Agenda. At first there were several riffs about the CG, until it was pointed out that this was made in 1997. The riffing comments were quickly exchanged for ones of awe. Combined with the plot, humor and characters, he quickly got into it. In fact, once we wrapped up, he said that since now he knows Beast Wars gets better, he'll start watching it. Two others agreed.

Yes! Converts!

Game of Thrones great series and Tyrion Lannister is my fave character his actor portrays him superbly

Marble Hornets. Alright, but it runs into a problem. The Operator keeps showing up but not doing anything to them. If you want to keep something scary, it needs to actually do scary things. Popping up and distorting video simply loses the fear factor after a while.

Mythbusters Marathon at a Bachelor Pad with some dudes this weekend. In other news, I actually picked up the entire second season of 60s Star Trek from a charity sale.

By Allah, I'm all for a good story, but this show has a serious sense of discontinuity now, doesn't it? I watched about eight episodes with my little brother and we found that it's like the characters are trapped in some sort of aesop loop that refuses to break. I know it's the 60s, but standards are standards.

I might torrent TNG at my friend's pad this weekend, too.
