Does that have anything to do with the Masterpiece Mystery Sherlock? Are they finally giving that a second season?

The latest episode of Dexter. This could end so well for my hopes, but it could also end horribly.

It is the one with Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock and Martin Freeman as Watson.

American Horror Story. It's damn well addictive. Jessica Lange is fucking awesome.

Dexter Season Finale. Kind of lackluster until the end, but then something I've really wanted to happen for a while happened.

Who do I have to see in order to tell them to shut up and take all my money?

I just started watching the X-Files from season one onward for the 1st time ever. I never actually watched it when if was airing on t.v. So much of it is completely new to me. I'm in season two now and just got past watching "end game". Honestly I have this weird feeling all the lone gunmen are aliens.

New episode of Sherlock.

You need to watch it, it was awesome.

Funny, dramatic, and clever.

What more do you want from TV?

Agreed! Everyone should watch it (unless they hate Sherlock Holmes or mystery shows).

Took me a while to accept that the end was not a delusion of Sherlock's.

Watched the "Who will be the Family Wizard" finale of Wizards of Waverly Place. Frankly, the whole thing seemed like a messed up cop-out. Justin won, but abdicates to Alex because she should have won but got distracted helping him, but wait! Professor Crumbs is going to retire and gives Justin his position as the head of the University and makes him a wizard despite years of canon that make having more than one wizard in the family impossible. So what? Justin has been officially adopted by Crumbs now in wizarding terms?

There was a LOT more they could have done with the episode from what I saw. For example, we know the wizards are common knowledge in the future from the future version of Harper that came back in time to sell her books about the Russo family adventures. And I would have thought at least Uncle Kelbo, as the official family wizard for the earlier generation, should have got more than a throw-away mention as an example to not let the junior Russos fall apart the way their father's generation did. Never mind the fact that if Justin won, you have the whole "Alex already won in the altered timeline from the movie" issue that could be brought up.

Frankly, the whole thing felt rushed and ham-handed. There had to be dozens of different ways to play everything that would have made for a better narrative, several of which that would not have left Max out in the cold. Especially since, like Kelbo, he seems to stupid to actually survive without his powers. That was why Jerry gave Kelbo his powers instead of Megan when he gave them up to marry Theresa, IIRC.

For a series finale, I felt it lacking in the extreme.

Just finished watching it.

It was bloody brilliant. Best one so far. Sherlock Holmes / Irene Adler is now my OTP.

Who was that woman playing Irene Adler? Her chemistry with Cumberbatch on-screen was sizzling hot.

I do hope they take Watson's suggestion and name their first child after him. :p

Just started to watch Community. It's a brilliant show that I think would appeal to most of the people here. I usually never buy blu-ray's of tv shows but this one was totally worth it.
It has great character interaction as well as interesting plots.
If you like Arrested Development, you'll like Community.

I've already hooked most of my friends on it with just one episode. Watch Remedial Chaos Theory (Season 3 Episode 4). You'll find your way from there.

Eh, the only actual stuff on TV I watch nowadays are Mythbusters reruns (or new episodes when possible) and The Big Bang Theory.

Wow... I would so like something like that, with less disjointedness of course but still such a good idea. Where is he ripping the redhead from? Should wear more clothes though.

Does anyone else watch Lost Girl? Canadian urban fantasy show in its 2nd season, I enjoy it, but it's my favorite genre and I must admit this show seems like a niche audience.

Sherlock was good, but the ending was telegraphed if you were paying attention.

Spoiler me and you die, currently at Season 3 of Supernatural. This show is awesome. It has everything: thrills, chills, funnies, awesome bromance and millenial plots.

I was almost tempted to go look for fanfiction of it, but then I realized... Two hot brothers who are the closest possible? Would do anything for each other? ... I avoided the Yaoi-fest that is sure to bound there.

Latest episode of house. Ugh. Admittedly the show is terrible, but the House/Wilson subplots every episode were entertaining. It's gotten to the point though, that either through dropped quality of those, or just the main plots getting so bad that it's not worth watching anymore.

House/Wilson subplot that offends an entire class of people by saying their sexuality is probably a result of something medically wrong with them? Ugh
House continuing his irrationality beyond the point of it even being realistic for him? Wooo.
House attempting to murder Foreman, and then Foreman lets him off the ankle bracelet? Wow.

Who the hell is writing this shit, and why is everyone else involved in the production letting it be produced?

It only increased when they added an anime series.

I braved the waters myself before abandoning it. There's also a large fondness of Hurt!Dean for some crazy reason. There's a similar phenomenon in NCIS - lots of Hurt!DiNozzo.

The only half-decent fic I recall finding is this (X-Men/Supernatural cross). It has some homo subtext (Dean's an empath and becomes best buddies with Wolverine...yeah), but Dean picks up a girlfriend at Xavier's.

Big Bang Theory.

I have now caught up with most of the episodes, but I have to say... I really only like 1/3 of the show.

Sheldon is amusing, this was always true. Amy ... works really well as a regular cast member and brings something the show has been missing for a long time. Penny... well, the interactions with everyone but Leonard end up being somewhat funny.

Raj is Raj.

It is just too bad the show has so much focus on Leonard. It is boring and, quite honestly, Leonard is a douche. He manages to be, somehow, worse than Howard. And that is a bad sign because Howard is intentionally designed to be an asshat. Leonard is supposed to be the nice!everydude.

Thinking about picking up Sherlock because I randomly stumbled across a interesting fic in that fandom.
