I'm not sure Hogwarts has 26 people on staff, in canon, though it would make more sense if it did. Who would teach Transfiguration, though?

Know how Dumbledore is portrayed as some sort of mentally deranged bastard spying on everything happening in the castle, and either not confronting problems or creating them in the first place? Even if it's just for his own personal amusement?

Why not go all the way and switch him with Halaster Blackcloak?

The only problem with THAt, switching Dumbledore for the Blackcloak would be... the series wouldn't happen, Voldemort would have gotten bitchslapped down the moment he pissed the old crazy off.
Edit: Well that and the students probably wouldn't survive, so you know...yeah. Maybe replace him with Eliminster or Khelben or... someone less prone to random homicide.

Dumbledore, if you're really going for something new, is Larloch. It's not that he hates or likes the students and his staff, it's just that he doesn't give a fuck.

going back to a previous pages idea of a teacher being a body full of TFFers, would that be our values, morals, and power.......or just a batshit crazy schitzophrenic nutball, cause i'm not sure that would be to far off from the norm.

Phys ed gets made a mandatory course due to a new report given to the ministry as to exactly how bad recent generations of witches and wizards are in that area. Also it cross references it with muggle standards (with some slightly exaggerated info) and after seeing how inferior wizards are in that area pure bloods raise a stink and the course gets added. Wanting a top notch physical instructor they have 2 applicants to choose from Alexander Louis Armstrong or Maito Gai.

Danzo as the caretaker. Don't know why but he seems like he'd make a good janitor.

Tsunade as the nurse, who more often than not is passed out on a hospital bed from drinking in Hogsemede, leaving her assistant Shizune to care for the patients.

Neji as divination teacher. No one blabs more about fate than he does.
