One thing to remember is that one of the reasons Aizen started working with the hollows and trying to make Shinigami/hollow hybrids was because he reached the absoloute maximum that a Shinigami can reach, well at least in all four disiples). I am not sure how that would translate against a Vesto Lorde, but he would need to be increidbly strong.

Aizen studied the limits a shinigami could reach, he didn't actually get there himself. Note that while he has powerful kidou, it isn't completely mastered. We also don't know if he has bankai. The shikai that he displayed to everyone was false, the bankai he showed to become a captain would have been as well. I would find it great if Aizen's power trip started because he didn't have the capability of achieving bankai. It was stated as being incredibly rare for a shinigami to be able to gain it. As for Shunpo, I doubt he's at Yoruichi's level during the story, much less during her prime. Same for Hand to hand (hakudo I believe it was called.)

I think during Ichigo's current fight is when we'll see the return of the Vizards. They also see Aizen as their enemy, and may just be waiting to see how far Ichigo's group gets.

Eh, I think it's about Rukia apparently kicking the bucket. Seems Simmy's AU fic isn't so AU.?
Well, I have a feeling Rukia hasn't kicked the bucket in the series yet. Knowing Tite Kubo and his extreme reluctance on killing good main characters (heck, good guys period. Ones that haven't passed away in a flashback of course) Rukia will probably come out of this alive. Barely, but alive.

And of course, this would led to some touching moments between Ichigo and Rukia, making them a step closer to canon... bah. I'm just cynical and all. :p

Of course, if she did die... :hail: Not that I want Rukia to die or anything. But to have the balls to kill off a main character would be awesome.

But if Hinamori could live, so will Rukia. <_<

As for the current arc, too much :yay: Only issue of course is the good guys all getting their ass handed to them, but it was never meant to be 'easy'. IMO. As for the return of the Vizards, I'd like to see that. Though will it happen? I'm not sure.

How did Hinamori survive anyway? That was one thing that I just felt as if he was dragging on her life for the sole purpose of being obsessed with Aizen, as well as to cause pain and regret for the short white haired shinigami captain (can't spell his name).

She was only stabbed with a sword. I don't think Aizen actually put any effort into killing her. He likes drama, so he stabbed her.

That's basically it. He wounded her, but he didn't 'finish the job' so to speak. I.e. made sure that she really was dead before he left.

Ah, okay, its just that she looked dead in the manga and had lost quite a bit of blood. Though, considering some of the wounds characters in Bleach survive, it shouldn't be that surprising.

Plus Frosty Captain saved her.

Rukia might be saved by the other Vizards. Notice we didn't have a scene with the Clean-up patrol showing up to kill any survivors.

Just saw the RAW for 271.

Spoiler:

Ichigo is screwed. With Bankai and his mask, his Getsuga didn't do a damn thing to Ulquiorra. Messed up his clothes a little bit. Ulq proceeds to pound Ichigo into the ground, blowing him away with a Zero and then kicking him into the ground as he tries to run. It ends with Ulq's number being revealed: He's Ulquiorra Shiffer, Espada # 4. Then he puts his hand through Ichigo's chest as the chapter ends.

This is sort of OT, but the SUB for episode 121 is worth watching, if you have a chance. You think Grimmjow messed Ichigo up bad in the manga? Ichigo was getting his ass destroyed by Grimmjow.

If that's number four then just what is number one capable of?

Well, we can be fairly sure that Noitora isn't 1. It is more than possible that he is above Ulquiorra in strength though. Chad really ran out of luck when he ran into him. I was almost sure that Ulq would be 3 or better though.

SS is pretty much fucked though. The only one who has any possibility of standing up to the higher level Espada on his own is Yamamoto. Ukitake and Kyouraku might possibly be able to (if Ukitake's own illness doesn't hit at a bad time.)

Why in hell are they following Aizen though? Besides that no fear shit that was given, none of the traitor shinigami come close to Ulqiorra or any Espada above him.

Kind of odd, that, considering how surprised he was when Ichigo masked.

So... Ichigo's going to get some other power-up in the near future. What's left? Shinigami, Bankai, Hollow-erratic, Hollow-consistant... so what next?

Ichigo is going to have to have a full hollow transformation, closer to the Arrancar's than the Vaizard version he's been doing. Combined with his bankai, it might be enough power.

We know Yammy can be taken out.
Aaroniero is dead (not that it was hard...)
Three Privaron Espada are dead.
Luppy got owned.

Right now:
Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra
Renji vs. Grantz
Chad just got owwwned by Noitora.
Uryuu vs ?
Rukia just killed Aaroniero. Possibly dead.

Well he may be able to discover another ability to his Shikai or Bankai. Just think about it. Of the BAnkais and Shikais we've seen. Some seem to also have multiple abilities. Since I doubt he will go full Holow because he wouldn't be in control.

It seems that Ulquiorra is the 4th Espada. I guess the only hope left in this arc are Ishida and Renji. It also seems that Noitora might actually be the topped rank Espada. I honestly thought he was just saying it due to some sort of inferiority complex but now who knows. It seems to me that Ichigo and the others might just be insurance to make sure that Inoue just unlocks the Hougyoku.

Yep, we haven't seen Hollow Ichigo in a while, and we know how he is.

Yeah, just read it here...

Ulquiorra only being the 4th Espada = The final nail in the coffin.

They either need backup, or need to get the heck out of there.

Just a thought on Aizen, I doubt he's stronger than the Espada, but maybe he has them under some sort of illusion like he did in Soul Society?

I'm not sure what, but something that would get them to obey him.

That's a good point - mindfucking seems to be Aizen's first approach to any problem. ;)

To be fair, Hougyouku is one hell of a bargaining chip - 'You want ultimate power? No problem. Be my bitch.'

Something's going to have to tip the scales in Ichigo's favour soon for him to walk away alive, let alone victorious. :(

Well, I'm pretty sure his dad'll show up at some point in this arc; maybe Ishida's as well.

As I said before. He'll probably discover a new ability to his Bankai. That while not being an overkill will help him immensly. At least for the time being

We'll probably see the Quincy and Tattoo-boy fall, before they are all saved by the Vizard.

And you have to wonder which one will save Ichigo: the blond that likes to pick his nose, or the delicate flower that likes to kick everyone's ass.

Ishida's whereabouts are unknown. It is possible that he will make a dramatic entrance, save Ichigo life, and run away with Ichigo over his shoulder.
