Regardless, while Brutal Legend looks cool I'd only consider it if it were a PC game.
Meh. You obviously weren't Raised on Rock.

Ah, it'd be nice if they put the soundtrack out as preorder swag.

Why do people keep getting 360 from that symbol? That is a symbol for an "on" button; it's not exclusive to the 360, you know? <_<

My printer has the same symbol on it, does that mean they are making a Metal Gear Printer? No.

My mac has the same symbol on it, does that mean that they are making a Metal Gear for a Mac? No.

EDIT: If it were the "X" logo, then yes, I might say that is the most likely thing to happen, but this symbol was there before the 360. It could mean any number of things at this point.

Because there are two systems the next MGS game could arrive on, and the 360 is the only one of the two that has close ties to both the on symbol and the color green.

/I'm reading the picture more as, hey, MGSwhatever's a go for launch.

Three. Remember, Twin Snakes was on Gamecube.

Incidentally, all three next-gen consoles have that symbol on their 'power on' button. Not necessarily green, but then again, green has always been the symbol for 'go ahead'.

Now, if it was a RRoD or the stylized X, I'd agree it's the 360. As it is, it's just Kojima screwing with our minds. Something he likes to do a lot, I might add...

And apparently the answer is...

None of the above. Heh.

Anybody looked at Fragile?

It looks like it might be interesting.

Also, a warning before you see official art of the main character: "IT'S A TRAP!"

Srsly, the first time I saw him, I thought it was a girl.

Yup. One of a couple games that caught my eye in Game Informer...Flower, Sun, and Rain was the other main one. Being trapped in a time loop is an interesting plot device, I've always felt. Also, Elemental: War of Magic seems like it has the potential to be an interesting strategy game.

... Even without this warning, he didn't look girlish enough. So not a trap, at least to me.

ATLUS announces "The Dark Spire" for the Nintendo DS; and it looks amazing.

Classic old-school storyline serves as an excuse to climb a giant tower and smash an army of monster along the way. Absolutely amazing graphics that can be switched with an 8-bit NES style interface for kicks and giggles.

This might end up another ATLUS "must buy".

Please tell me Persona 4 has Japanese Audio and Eng. Subs!
No. The English audio is quite good, really. They have Yuri back, and Johnny's taken the role of Leader, and the other VA's are pretty good.

I haven't listened to the Japanese voices for P4, but this very well could be a case where the English VAs are better.

That's pretty rare in PS2 games, alas. That said, P4 really DOES have good voicework. It's phenomenal when you realize that they pulled off a higher quality voice-track and about twice as many voice-acted scenes (not to mention characters!) than Persona 3 in less time. They had something like, what, four months to do it?

No, they could have simply pre-produced it. Atlus isn't translating a game from another company, it's their own game.

I think that, once again, it was a matter of disk space.

P4 has more lines, more Shadows, more Persona, more animated scenes (of better quality), etc. etc. than P3 does.

Wouldn't it be simpler to just buy every game ATLUS makes? I honestly can't remember the last time a game with 'ATLUS' on the cover sucked. Those guys must be wizards...

Big resounding meh. I've always hated First Person RPGs, these included.

Aha! That's where you're wrong! After all, didn't... Wait a minute.

Holy... you're right. All the ATLUS gaes I have are ridicuously high quality games.

Seriously though, the translation of Revelations: Persona was pretty awful.
