Another Black Beetle appearance.

Got to say I really like how they are building him up as this unstoppable force. Really looking forward to Blue and him going all out on each other.

The dynamic between Blue and Impulse was pretty fun. The two have really stepped into the spotlight for the Reach arc.

Huh, cool, thanks Seiya, I thought he was familiar but I hadn't realized that he'd actually shown up like that before

Good Job Megann, would you care to screw over any other teammates.
Her desire to avoid doing that (well, to avoid screwing over anyone, really) is why she was fairly useless for so much of the previous episode. She did come through in the end, though.

YJ after action report.

I ENJOYED watching Lagoon boy get his butt whupped by Deathstroke, likely more than I should've.

Props to Conner for backing up Nightwing in front of LB, and then pointing out WHY keeping secrets was a bad idea when they were alone. That's how you do it, support your friend and leader in front of the enlisted/junior personel and then in PRIVATE tell them what you really think.

Also, Artemis....A+ for pulling that off. I mean you really came through for Kaldur and Megann.

Black Manta....WHY couldn't you be a good guy, I mean the concern you show for your son, the way you didn't want to put someone your son cared for in harms way....that screams good person underneath it all to me.

Okay so, Megann's mental states prevents her from doing a good job at scanning Green Beetle's mind, which makes BB trust him enough to ask him to fix his Scarab and... this will not end well. Seriously Jamie, don't mess with the more than decent attempt to compete with Green Lantern's rings.

Where is MM when you need him?

I looked it up to confirm it. It's sadly true.

Also, while I may just be bitter about the loss of one of my favorite shows, but the line up they're replacing it with looks pretty horrible to me.

That new Teen Titans show looks awful but Beware the Batman looks pretty cool to me, bringing Batman back to his pulp-roots and putting out what looks like a modernised Golden Age Batman.

I'd gotten kind of eh on YJ this season but I was hopeful for a third season since Weisman proised another timeskip which might've progressed Dick Grayson to Batman with Damian as Robin, and GL:tAS this second-half of the season had the writing get considerably better (and it was pretty good before) as well as the animation, and the last two episodes were just fantastic.

CN are just arseholes nowadays when it comes to action cartoons that aren't Ben 10 or Star Wars (though hah, they're losing that to Disney).

Of all the stupid decisions.

Oh well, at least nothing can hurt me more than losing Spectacular Spider-Man.

Kind of sad I'll never get to see YJ Red Hood though.

Okay....so with a 'Man of Steel' movie on the way, and with Disney yanking Clone Wars away from them, CN decides to pull the plug on one of their more successful series?

Looking back over the series I'm starting to get the impression that CN wanted it to fail. I mean why else would you stop showing the series after three episodes.

You know what, if Nick had the money and imagination they should snap up YJ and air it right after 'The Legend of Korra'

Can they even?

There are a lot of licenses at play here, some of which CN may not feel like selling.

CN have a pretty bad track record when it comes to action shows over the past few years, as I mentioned. They seem to like putting some cartoons on a random hiatus, showing them at completely random times, and instead just pushing their funny cartoons or live action stuff.

Never gonna happen.

Cartoon Network are owned by Warner, who of course also own DC Comics. Sucks but the DC cartoons aren't going to be broadcast anywhere else.

They pay people to MAKE this shit =I

My personal thought is that most of the stuff that got greenlighted is Internal to CN sot hey don't have to deal with bureaucratic red tape and licensing fees to other portions of the massive conglomerate that is AOLTimeWarner. In all honesty I've been expecting this since they revealed they were going to have 2 new DC shows in teh new season, there was no way they were going to expand a non-CN action block.

Interestingly enough, the wiki still has it scheduled, so presumably it's not so much canceled as 'not being renewed'.

Maybe it'll be broadcast on Saturday mornings on some other WB-affiliated channel, next season.

^That.

They make it hard to be a cartoon enthusiast when anything of quality gets canned years before it should. Poor Weisman, if I were him, I think I'd throw in the towel.

I feel bad for this generation of kids. They're growing up without really getting the chance to see good cartoons!

The Justice League fucked up, as expected. Jamie fucked up, as expected. Lex has balls that drag on the floor when he walks and probably has to wear special deodorant to tone down his swag. Good episode, if about as expected.
