First how do you know that it isn't tactile telekinesis and SB and the Doc's just didn't notice he could do anything else with it because he has only been out of a growth tube for a few weeks? I mean they were expecting a clone of superman and thus were looking for Supes powers.

Second several sources have Superman unable to fly when he was young (IIRC the modern origin story stated he first flew while trying to save Lana/Loise) and in fact originally Superman COULDN'T fly and he only gained that ability because it was cheaper to animate then running fast and jumping.

Third yet again SB has only been out of a growth tube for a few weeks, for all intents and purposes he has a child's experience, yet a teenagers bodies. Add in the fact that he was being mentally controlled/imprisoned and I think he has every write to feel pissed.

Fourth it sounds like every one of those complaints were because they didn't copy/paste superboy from the comics into the series which I personally feel are not good enough. Yes it should be close enough so that you feel like you are actually reading/watching a story about them but it should not IMO follow exactly the same steps.
Honestly I'm getting tired of EMO being used to describe every fuckin thing.

You're only just getting tired of it now?

What makes it worse, is that I see it used by authors, professional authors, as some lousy attempt to remain current or hip- or some crap.

Well I've mentioned that I was tired of it before but dont think anyone noticed.

Heh it's most annoying for me to see/hear it used by people to describe characters that actually have problems and aren't just 'whining for no god damn reason and should just cheer up and act like a damn grinning idiot all the time'.

It's bullshit.

*Somewhere in the Multiverse*

Destro: (glancing curiously at his Commander) "What is it?"

Cobra Commander: (Oddly bothered) "I feel the sudden need to contact a lawyer..."

Edit:

Robin & Kid Flash both need a good swat for that screw up.

Edit 2:

Aqualad just made a very good point. Robin is so used to Working with Batman that it interferes with his abilities to lead this team. However, given time and using Aqualad to bring them together, he might eventually be in a position to do just that.

My current theory is that Aqualad will play the Sgt. to Robin's Officer by seasons end.

Edit 3:

Good team play by Ms. Martian, Kid Flash and Superboy!

And man...that had to hurt...

Actually? Kobra was created 1976 by DC. Cobra was created 1982 by Marvel Comics. So Kobra should have been the one getting their lawyer. ;)

Robin really came out pretty arrogant/annoying between this episode and the last.
I do hope that Aqualad's point regarding his work with Batman at least sticks and he stops the annoying vanishing acts each time something occurs.

That said, I don't quite see the point behind Aqualad's "You were born to lead, I'll just hold the position until you're ready" part of his speech after just seconds earlier pointing out what made Robin a -bad- leader.

Also, Miss Martian did -another- of her 'Duh Megan!" scenes.

And that spanish made me cringe in parts. It feels like they ran the lines through babelfish to get a literal spanish translation in parts, and they even mispronounced some words.

To appease the Bat-fanatics out there, that honestly feel a bat-clan memeber has to lead every team. This way you get to do something a little differently while assuring them that their fan-beloved character will in fact rule.

It's interesting to note that Superboy seemed more at ease this episode with his teammates. That plus Batman's 'Good Work' actually caught me off guard.

The Bat offering praise...

Flash: "These are the end times..."

Saw the new episode. First evidence of Artemis, and according to the wiki, she'll show up next week. Nice to see Superboy maturing, but its odd to have a Batman who's less of a dick than Superman. Mind you, Bats has four years of child-rearing experience, so its not horribly implausible. Ma and Pa are going to be a bit disappointed in Clark, IMHO.

I wonder if the Ivo we saw was the real one, or another robot (since he's supposed to be dead). Lots of bad-guy robots, so far.

There is nothing wrong with destroying an evil robot as long as a mad scientist has a backup of it's AI.

It is interesting to see Bruce trying to get Clark to act more like a father/mentor to SB. I'm so used to Superman being such a paragon that it's odd to watch him fumble this situation so badly.

Ah well, more screen time for Black Canary.

Edit: Still trying to get used to Batman being so...reasonable...and free with praise...

to quote Harley Quinn..."stop it...you're giving me the creeps!"

J'onn acting fatherly was something weird also.

It's also interesting to see what role Black Canary will having in raising and educating the kids. Pretty cool stuff.

I thought Cobra and the GI Joe and Transformer comics in general were Marvel? Why does Young Justice have a bunch of villainous dudes chanting "HAIL COBRA" over and over, then?

The sad thing is, its not like it would be hard to find someone in the USA who's bilingual in English and Spanish.

Some days I thinks its hard to find someone in the US that is fluent in just English much less Spanish.

Good plan by Aqua-lad, not the best, but a good plan overall. Artemis and Kid Flash should be kissing by seasons end, though her involvment with the League of Shadows suggests she's plotting their downfall, or will be involved with it's execution.

Red Arrow's still a jackanaps but he's not totally worthless, though he needs to lose the chip on his shoulder. Still it's nice to know he does have the teams back.

I did like how Artemis knowingly undressed SB with her eyes, the girls agressive and a nice contrast to Ms. Martian.

I have to wonder though who Artemis really is and why GA and Bats lied for her.

The fact that they did, kind of indicates that her loyalties are not to the Light, no matter what the Light may think (unless the Light is the JLA pull a Batman or Xanatos Gambit on the underworld). Also, I suspect the person on the inside they're referring to is someone less blindingly obvious.

Its suspected by some on SB.com that she's Artemis Crock, the daughter of Sportsmaster and the first Huntress. That could be (in fact, its quite likely), but her being a rule 63'd Connor Hawke is still possible.

I've been leaning towards the Artemis Crock theory myself since Sportsmaster popped up so recently in the show, although she's not vietnamese in the comics. As far as I know, the only vietnamese characters of note from DC are Cheshire and Lian.

As for the mole for the Light, I am fairly certain it's not Artemis, she's too much of a Red Herring bait given what happened in the episode. It's more likely to be Superboy with a subliminal message, ala the comics when it was retconned that he was the man-baby/clone of Superman/Luthor and Luthor took control of him.

The most likely suspects are Superboy, due to his mental training, or Aqualad just because no one would see it coming, and he is the son of Blackmanta.

Just saw Denial

A Kid Flash heavy episode, but he got some good advice and it had one of my favorite villains, Klairon the Witch Boy.

I HATE that snot nosed brat, and enjoy watching him get beaten up. That said, we do need a new host for Doctor Fate. Any suggestions?
