I had mixed feelings about this episode. On one hand, the animation was still top-notch, and they really showed off what people with 'lame' powers like the Red Tornado's could do. In comics, you just tend to see vague winds, but here it looked and was really impressive.
Miss Martian was a bit more annoying than I hoped she would be. Her head-slapping was, as many noted, really unnecessary, and her Freckles, like Kayeich noted, was a bit freaky. But that's fine, the characters still have lots of room to grow. Which is the problem, right now, they are just very general characters with no real depth behind them. Which, again, is perfectly acceptable in a show as early as this. By the end of the season, my expectations might be higher of course.
Robin...well, he's always been the leader in the comics so I don't have too much of a problem if this happens, but right now, he's the youngest and doesn't really bring a lot to the table. It would be interesting if I don't know, Miss Martian was the leader like Ordo suggested. Also, his cackle as he vanishes is pretty unsettling.
I did like how the Bad Guys are playing smart though. And I am definitely looking forward to Artemis. I'm assuming that here she'll be Wonder Woman's protege, mixing together Arrowette and Artemis from the comics. Should be interesting to see how they portray her. I'm expecting someone with a no-nonsense attitude right now.
