KOTOR MMO announced.

Given what happened with KOTOR II (huge pieces missing) and given my irrational hatred of MMOs, I know what I'm not getting anytime soon.

Would it have killed you to make another Monkey Island game instead? :rant:

My solace is that it's not actually KOTOR 3. It's set a few hundred years later which leaves a neat gap if they go back and saves my blood pressure from going through the roof when I'm supposed to get the finale of the KOTOR story from some god-awful MMO full of screeching brats.

You know, Bioware has done a better job with Star Wars than some Authors in the expanded universe. Honestly I'm far more interested in this than a sequel to 'The Force Unleashed' or the next EU hardback book series.

I'm sorry sir Watashiwa, but there has never been a Star Wars MMO. There may have been a product that CLAIMED to be a SWMMO but I assure you it was nothing of the sort.

And I'll just cut some people off right now by saying "...many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view."

Hi there game fans! Fun news today.

First, rumors of the Ghostbusters game's death have been greatly exaggerated. I can already hear the theme music... wait, I'm playing it on Youtube.

For the MegaTen fans reading this: ATLUS announces Devil Survivor. It's a DS game. We know nothing more than that.

Square-Enix sells it's soul, will make iPhone game. *sigh* I don't even need to work at making fun of this, do I?

And lastly, EA proves it's failure. Be a jerk/anti-EA on the forums, lose your right to play your games!

Squeenix sold its soul when it turned Final Fantasy into nothing more than a cash-producing KEWL GRAFIKZ N FVM wankfest.

Which was... oh... about around FF8? So nothing new.

My only regret is that Enix used to make quality shit before Square polluted them with their fail. Oh well.

Even if FFX had several LOLWHUT? moments, I liked it a lot better than either 8 or 9...

All of the current ones from 6 haven't been up to par, however. Even if I did enjoy FF7 immensely.

The only reason I really liked 7 was because of Aeris' death. I never used her and she was excess baggage and I was cheering for Cloud to do it when it looked like he would have. After that I started disliking final fantasy because all the sequels had some crappy card game/sport.

FF8's card game was far more fun than FF8 was.

I liked 9 more than 10, but it had... problems. Like loading times. And battles being slow.

She was useless for actual fighting, attack magic included, but her Limit Breaks were quite useful. For example, one of them donated her own Limit bar to fill her two teammates', meaning you could pull off four high-damage LBs in a row if you plan it right.

I'm just sick of all the fanboying/fangirling over her, and especially all those who clamor for a way to resurrect her.
Dammit, I just pissed myself off thinking about it.

Tomorrow I'll do an RPG round up, focusing on my system of choice for next year.

Hey, it's not MY fault that Valkyrie Profile, Suikoden and Dragon Quest all have their next installments on the DS.

...Someone needs to hire a hitman to slit the EA staff's throats in their sleep and leave them drowning in their own blood.

This is the straw that broke the camel's back. EA is dead to me. Its past glory was all just a dream.
