Let's add the fics 'Naruto is stronger, but everyone still treats him as the weakest' in the fire. In particular, Sasuke and Neji who stays 'He can't be stronger' and 'Fate'.

Bashing is one thing, but both of them has more common sense than that.

Sasuke actually leaves Konoha once he finally gets the fact that Naruto is stronger than him into his skull.

Neji dismisses him outright despite the fact that he was trained by Jiraiya and knows Kage Bunshin, both of which should have been fairly obvious.

I was talking about fics were Naruto is way way stronger (think overpowered), but with Sasuke and Neji keeping the same attitude towards him.

Overpowered Naruto is one think, but blatant stupidity is another.

And I'm pretty sure Neji didn't learn who was Naruto's teacher before his match with him.

The Golden Fox and Neo-Yondaime Hokage. Both are filled with bland/boring writing and cliches... and everyone fucking loves them. It makes no sense! Decent concepts, I suppose, but the writers are just boring. It's like reading a script.

Meh, I have both of those on my favorites list thing because I favorited them as I read them. That was when I first started reading and found them interesting.

The Golden Fox... oi, that started to friggin drag on and drag on like nothing else. Just... frah. I haven't read that thing in forever, and have no plans to.

Neo-Yondaime Hokage... it was interesting, and I liked it, but after a certain point, it seemed to just drag on as well. I think the point of interest lost was somewhere around the invasion. I just stopped reading all together.

The one thing that I came to despise about The Golden Fox, which is one of the reasons why I don't follow it anymore. Was the fact that Naruto is the legendary "Golden Fox". He's fucking feared by all the elemental countries and a lot of them want him dead. A HUGE ASS THREAT to the system.

But some how he's still wants to save the world, if he supposedly wiped out like two or three hundred Iwa and Kumo Shinobi by him-fucking-self. Why the hell not just say "fuck you Konoha, no." and then wipe out anyone who comes after him? He's got skill, and where is the golden fox's ruthlessness or carnage inducing capability that made him oh-so "Famous"?

The characterization at first wasn't so bad, then Team Konoha was introduced. And he was forced to come back, wife or not. If he really cared for his wife, he'd be more than willing to use killing-intent to make her pass out and kill every-fucker within ten-feet of him for trying to threaten to use his wife against him.

In all these stories, he's such a pussy-wiped supposed badass who always falls head over heels the moment Konoha comes to him asking for help and in turn using his loved ones against him.

I mean seriously! They ALL use his loved ones against him in leverage and after his loved ones are released he gladly kisses their asses and follows through on every assignment.

I'll admit it doesn't take much skill to cock up Naruto, given the tallent the series creator has for it. But to simultaneously cock up Naruto, Overlord, Bleach, Kingdom Hearts and Lord of the Rings, it's like he passed through retarded and out the other side into some unknown level of super-genius. This has it all form absurd OOC, epic character bashing, cannon rehashes, gary-stues, bad jokes and inserted characters so the author can claim it's a crossover. Throw in bad grammar and a number of sycophants in the review section and we have a gold medalist for the Shitty Olympics.

While it's apparent that the village didn't give a big shit about Naruto, and a lot of people despised him to some degree, I strongly doubt that they would have it in them to actually try and outright kill Naruto out of fear of facing the wrath of the Hokage.

And yes, I do believe that he had the power to friggin enforce that law...

While there very well may have been an occasional person who probably did want to beat the snot out of Naruto, I doubt it would last long with all the Ninja in the village who followed the Hokage.

On a related note, I honestly don't believe that the shops would refuse to sell anything to Naruto if he had the money to buy whatever it was that he wanted. Why would a store refuse money?

If anything, the villagers were probably too scared to do anything against Naruto for fear of either...

1.) The possibility of becoming a smear due to the Kyuubi possibly having some form of power over the boy.

2.) The Hokage... plain and simple. You don't want to piss off the ruler of your village

3.) Just plain fear over the boy.

Besides, if they really and truly hated Naruto, would they cheer for him during the Chunin Exam?

Why would some stores refuse to sell to African American's back in the day? Because people are stupid in their discrimination, that's why.

Though some stores actually have refused service to people when there weren't laws in the way. I don't understand the logic behind it, but I suppose it's because they think that by refusing the service to a person they don't like for whatever reason they keep those items open for people who they do like who would buy them later. Or some such nonsense.

Not that it says much, but there's no way all of Konoha was in the stadium at the time, and quite a few of those people should have been from out of town.

While I don't think that all/most would refuse to sell stuff to him I think that some would.

Also I think that among those that would sell to him would either sell him at inflated prices/ or with substandard goods.

Because while I don't think such blatant hostility as all of them refusing to sell would fly, I think that some would get away with it, and with the selling of inflated prices/or damaged goods.

The reason why is because like NGD said people are stupid in there discrimination. That don't follow reason, or logic.

Sharingan Harry Book One: A New Bloodline

Its not actually a Naru story, but rather A HP story crossed over with Naru. It is so utterly bad that I almost cried. But then I realized that would be homo so I held it in.

Anyway:

'Rare/priceless/hard-to-find book on how to create your own bloodline' sitting in the HP bookstore in plain view and no one claiming it in like...ever? Check.

HP getting Mangekyo Sharingan in chapter one? Check

HP using Amaterasu 'accidentally' by chapter three? Check

Author claiming to not be godmoding HP? Check

All around Shitty writing and crappy execution of idea? Check.

The worst part is, FF.net is eating his shit up. Me, A Devil In The Dark, Warslasher, Nanio-713, DG Friendly, Lord Ezra'eil, and M16 To The Face were the only ones brave enough (that I saw) tell him that the story sucked. Seven people out of 92! Good fucking lord. There should be a law where you can shoot idiots like this. ADitD straight out flamed him, while I tried to get him to see the light in a polite(ish) manner. He flamed me back, completely ignoring a few of my points. Most likely the ones he had no comeback to. Most of the idiots who reviewed had things to say like, "Absolutely amazeing. Eagerly wating for the next update." (C&Ped :blink: )

I hate people like this. You know em! The ones who are so fanatical in their beliefs that they wouldn't change their minds even if confronted them with irrefutable proof. It is people like this who make me hate waking up in the morning.

Oh yeah...I read a few of Synica's fics way back when I first started out too. Thought they were good too. Haven't read one of his fics since then.

The only one of Synica's fics that I liked was Living Behind A Mask.


...then again, I was a n00b back then. If I read it now, I'd most likely flame it. Who knows, it might just surprise me.

But I agree, his fics suck generally. the worst part? I actually read the one with SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY all the way through. AND LIKED IT!

I fucking HATE fics where Lee suddenly, unexpectedly and completely retardedly gets the ability to use Ninjutsu. This goes completely against (mostly) EVERYTHING that makes Lee who he is. Even if Lee ever does get the ability, do you think he would learn how to use it? NO! He is a taijutsu expert who's dream is to be a 'splendid ninja even w/o ninjutsu or genjutsu.'

I actually read a fic, don't ask me because I don't WANT to remember it, that had Rock Lee get the ability to use Ninjutsu that not only were completely OVER 9000!!!1!!11!!111!!!!1!1!!!/Kyuubi level, but he started to completely ignore Taijutsu in the process.

I think he was talking about the stories where Lee is able to use nin-genjutsu after he's already be introduced and following the youthful way set by Gai.
Personally I don't read any fic with Lee getting back those skills more than marginally,because then it's just not Lee.

I'm surprised this one hasn't been mentioned yet, but...'Rise of the Fox Lord'. I mean, come on, you would think that Naruto taking after Kenpachi would be a good thing, right? But noooooo. The character bashing is sickeningly terrible and omnipresent, the writing is mediocre, and Naruto becoming the Shikage is just stupid, at least in the way it was set up. Plus, Naruto's huge jumps in power were ridiculous and horribly explained. And yes, I said it before, but god, the character bashing! These characters aren't even recognizable!

And, while I'm on the subject, I'd like to say a big "Fuck You" to every single fic with rapist Kiba and/or total Uchiha ass kissing Kakashi. Not to mention the terminally incompetent Sarutobi and the inexplicably stupidly power hungry Danzo that's willing to destroy Konoha for his own ambitions...and Pedomaru, at least outside of crack. :headbanger:

The guy's writing drives me up the wall. You guys know that cliche about how Naruto comes back and forgives people? I wish that it happened in his story, and every other story of the same type. They are increasing in size, and really pissing me off.
You just go through these stories and think; okay, would you at least try to give these guys a proper redemption. I read a story about how they basically, in the story dialog, that even if they tried, these characters would always hate Naruto and they were screwed. Come on...a story is much ore interesting when their fates are actually unknown. Oh, and the Rise of the Fox Lord...it wasn't Naruto doing anything, it was Kenpachi. That is Fail, because we are in the Naruto section, not the Bleach.

Seriously, people. Let Kakashi walk a fence, instead of being on one camp or the other. That would fit his indecisive personality.

Edit: On the subject of Asperger's Syndrome, it's kind of lonely. Having it myself, I only found some kind of solace in fiction and fantasy...because reality sucks. I had this self-insert thing when I first started out writing, but when my own life upturned, I didn't find a need to do that anymore. I can see where he comes from, so I can sympathize with Synica. He's impulsive, and then too prideful to take what he said back. However...you have to mature sometime. I can accept now more often when I've made a mistake. But I still type the first thing that comes to mind sometime...that's why I'm glad we have an edit function.

I just want it to be clear that Lee can use chakra, he just can't use it to form external techniques, like ninjutsu and genjutsu (so, theoretically, he could still learn to use Kai, since that's entirely internal).

After all, the Gates involve using chakra to enhance the body, so SOME level of control can be assume, just not enough to form jutsus.

Lee's even been shown using skills related to the tree climbing (admittedly, only in the fillers) and water-walking (as shown in PTS, when the Team Gai and Team 7 are about to infiltrate the Akatsuki lair) so he CAN use it. Just not WELL ENOUGH to do things like Bunshin, Henge, etc.

The stories he usually makes are crossovers that have Naruto always getting a harem for no apparent reason other than they 'love' him or will forever be his master. Not to mention the emo-crap series he has: _____ says goodbye or whatever. I maybe a lurker an all, but the bastard's stuff must be crushed into atoms and locked in an air-locked space where it will never be touched by anything and anyone.

Personally, if he harbors so much contempt. Join the god-forsaken enemy of Konoha, they'd pay you more and treat you a lot better too.

Technically, there's nothing stopping Lee from learning Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. He's perfectly capable of doing it. You seem to be under the fanon impression that Lee has some sort of defect or disability as far as chakra is concerned.

This is not true.

To quote Gai "Lee. . . had absolutely no talent in Ninjutsu or Genjutsu whatsoever".

It's not an issue of not being able to do it. It's an issue of talent. Lee simply wasn't good at either. To be quite honest, he sucks at them, to the extent that trying to become proficient in those areas was a waste of time. It would take too much effort and have too minor a result to be worthwhile. Gai recognized this, and focused on making Lee as skilled at Taijutsu as possible.

It's an understandable misconception. When you say no talent whatsoever, the implication that they can't do it at all naturally follows. Of course, that would leave the big question of how he even graduated in the first place.
