^What he said. I think the DB4 mentions that the Yotsuki lived in that valley B's at and let Kumo have the land when it was first founded but there hasn't been a proper translation of that part yet.

Edit: Beefed up the Tailed Beasts entry some, btw.

RE: The Naruversity

That's a good bijuu entry Knight.

That bijuu entry gave me a random thought. What if, instead of Kaguya, the final villain had been the Sage of Six Paths himself? I think it thematically would have worked a hell of a lot better, not to mention it would have had tons of foreshadowing. Just imagine Madara getting stabbed in the back and transforming into the Sage of Six Paths. The ancient hermit looks upon Naruto and declares that he must enslave the world in the infinite tsukuyomi, because he already tried Naruto's methods and they failed.

"I defeated the Ten-tails and brought peace to the world. I ended every old conflict and convinced bitter enemies to lay aside their weapons and embrace each other as friends. I created a religion of peace and gave people the means to truly understand each other on a fundamental spiritual level. And I created nine mighty guardians to safeguard the world after my death."

"Tell me young man, how do you think the people repaid my great kindness and my sacrifices? They spat upon my gifts and turned my religion into a philosophy of violence. Within one generation they had already thrown away my teachings and waged war upon each other, the two largest factions led by my very own traitorous sons! They tortured and enslaved my beloved children whom I had tasked with guiding and protecting them, filling them with hatred and madness. For a thousand years I have watched humanity slaughter each other over the most trivial of differences and pettiest of offenses, when they could easy build a utopia with the knowledge I gave to them."

"No more. Humanity had their chance to choose peace, and they rejected it soundly. It has become clear to me that the only way to fix this broken species is by force. So be it. I shall save humanity from itself. I will free the people from their pain, their suffering, their loneliness. In the dream world, everyone will know only happiness."

I cannot be the only person who expected the SoSP to pull some shady shit after his 'Thank you for saving the world'.

But going off of that, something that annoyed me about the final was how distinctly black and white the morality was. That either Asura OR Indra was right. I liked it before where it was a grey vs grey mentality and that the dream world that Obito and Madara were fighting for was something REAL that many of us would have probably accepted. That they very well could have been the heroes of their own stories. Instead we get the cliche 'muwahahaha' mustache twirling villian in the form of Kaguya and BZ and Madara and Obito going 'meh what do you expect'.

Honestly with how OP Madara was and how much he truly believed in his cause, I'm surprised he didn't get one final redemption. After listening to BZ's exposition though Kaguya he didn't just go 'ARE YOU FUCKING SHITTING ME?' and resist Kaguya from the inside to help Team 7 bring down her down for good. Can't imagine how much it must have stung to have faught for something so hard over more than one life only to find out you were nothing but a pawn.

Pretty disappointing way to go out for now OP Kishi turned Madara into.

That I can agree with thecuiy. Madara was a way better villain than Kaguya. And it definitely would have been pretty cool if Kaguya had actually started breaking out of the final sealing all like "fools you think I'll fall for that same trick twice?!" and then all of a sudden Limbo Madaras tackle her and hold her still while the moon finishes forming around her and Madara's spirit is all like "Damnit kid, you better not be all talk! Don't be a fuckup like Hashirama was! Finish what I started and fix this broken world! Or else!"

I had the very same thought as I was writing the False Origin of Shinobi. Hagoromo was incredible for everything he was said to have accomplished and how powerful he became in his lifetime. Kaguya ate a fruit and enslaved the world. He had every reason to want to interfere with the modern shinobi world considering what his legacy became while she just wanted her chakra back.

If I had to choose between the two, the choice is clear.

And nice speech. B)

Hell, they could even have both been the villains. Hagoromo could have broken the seal on his mother so he could apologize, admit that she had been right all along and his religion of peace had been a fool's dream, and they could team up to bring about the infinite tsukuyomi.

Although I'm not sure how exactly the heroes would manage to defeat that overpowered combo. Maybe Asura and Indra would set aside their rivalry and take a more active role in helping Naruto and Sasuke save the world?

Beefed up the Yotsuki Clan.

This was meant to justify why only some Yamanaka are hijutsu but then I remembered that it was the Mind Body Switch/Disturbance that weren't hijutsu. Which really makes no sense to me. So now it's just a profile about the clan, I guess.

Yamanaka Clan

The first Yamanaka was actual a ninja monk fascinated with the power of Ninshu and the intricacies of the mind. They felt that the concept of speaking from one heart to another could be taken even futher, going beyond even the manipulation of the senses with genjutsu, to explore the entire consciousness and bring it under their control. They turned their back on their brotherhood and, like the monks of old, perverted the original purpose of chakra into a weapon.

In the beginning, they honed their Yin Release and produced the ability to instantly communicate with others through the mind instead of speech. They could pass on thoughts, images, even memories and senses through this to allies or enemies depending on their intent. This developed into reading the minds of others where they could extract any information they desire and relive the victim's memories as if they were their own, whether whether the victim was willing or not.

And then there was the most infamous skill where they could project their spirit into another person to seize control of their body and use it as their own. It was this jutsu, more than any other, that cemented the Yamanaka as a deadly threat. In fact, it could be considered the underlying cause of the alliance between them and the equally new clans Nara and Akimichi, as they lacked the power to defend themselves from the violent response unleashed upon them.

The Nara could stop an enemy in the tracks and the Akimichi could crush them underfoot but the Yamanaka were always in danger when using their abilities, needing to stay behind to be protected from their own weakness.

But it would be a mistake to disregard them. Their mind jutsu are far more efficient than any torture or genjutsu for extracting information, and no technology can match their ability to communicate on the battlefield over distances.

These were the skills that were passed down as the secret techniques of the Yamanaka. But when their clan first joined Konoha, they did what so very few other clans have done and shared the knowledge of one of their jutsu with the rest of the village.

The ability to read minds became a staple of Konoha's Torture and Intelligence Division and is the premier reason they are so feared in the shinobi world. The knowledge of its use is shared with those who are proven capable and trustworthy rather than it being kept strictly among the clan.

So while there are plenty of clans that call forth fear in their enemies on the front lines, the intelligence divisions in the background of the ninja world only fear one.

I just couldn't be bothered to make up a history for all that here. I threw in those bits on a whim so this article will likely need some tidying when I'm more awake.

If I go into that particular bit of history, I'd do it as its own piece instead of in one of the clans' articles.

Any particular reason? I feel like I've seen the idea before anyway and while I'm not really seeing it for most of them, the Akimichi always had a samurai vibe.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Dan Katou and his Spirit Transformation Technique in the Yamanaka Clan post. His jutsu is basically an S-rank version of Mind-Body Switch without any of the weaknesses or limitations. Do you think he's related to the Yamanaka Clan or learned some of their jutsu and improved upon them, or do you think his jutsu was invented independently?

I like this idea. This could explain why Killer B uses that weird acrobatic 7-sword fighting style. He's been training with the Yotsuki clan in their valley for years and that style was his attempt to replicate their Magnet Release kenjutsu without having the bloodline himself.

RE: The Naruversity

I did think of the Spirit Transformation Jutsu later on but I was leery on including it since it's implied to have been invented by Tobirama (or at least known by him but considering the high-level jutsu already called his inventions and this one shares a soul theme with Impure World Reincarnation...) and actually used by someone else entirely. In that light, I suppose it would have invented independently so there's not all that much point in including it here.

I guess I could say Tobirama was somewhat inspired by the Yamanaka or that the Yamanaka always wanted to invented such a jutsu and never managed it. Though in that case, it's strange there wasn't it wasn't a Yamanaka who ended up learning the jutsu and becoming famous with it.

And there may be the fundamental difference between possessing someone with your mind and possessing someone with your soul, and these guys are strictly about the mind. Though it seems more like the soul is just the next level up which is exactly where the Spirit Transformation should be their thing.

Sigh. If I had a point, I lost it somewhere. Something to think on.

So it was written. So it shall be.

Edit: I actually went looking through Killer B's flashbacks and saw that he only ever wielded two swords even at his oldest which is all the way up until he was first restricted to the village.

Edit2: This is an entirely unrelated but...

The rarity and nature of the ability has earned it the stigma of being called an "unholy jutsu" for centuries.
I was thinking about the nature of pregnancies for Jinchuuriki and came up with what might be a better reason for this "unholy" label. Perhaps it's because there's a good possibility of killing the mother as the child grows in their womb. The baby unconsciously consumes the mother's chakra so the usual strain of childbirth is often taken too far as they are losing far more energy than normal. It's a fairly disturbing concept so chakra absorbtion carries a certain stigma.

Also, is saying that chakra absorption "reverses the natural chakra flow" really all that different from saying it's "spinning the chakra within one's body in the opposite direction"? I feel like my description for chakra absorption is too similar to the Preta Path. :hmm:

I would have had the first Yamanaka having been a former Ninja Monk, who turned his back on his brotherhood and weaponised the bastardised remnant of Ninshuu that the monks possess.

Remember the discussion right after your Ninja Monks post?

Well, I remembered later on and then just went with the "they had no idea" route I mentioned. There was a lot of chopping and changing with the article. Wouldn't be hard to switch that to a monk with an interest in the mind but inspired by Ninshu/Gift of the Sages instead of genjutsu.

If nothing else "a monk, a samurai and a doctor meet in their lord's castle..." sounds like it could be the start of a clan origin story.

Obito's Use of Kamui

The price of the Mangekyou Sharingan is that each time one of its jutsu is used, it damages the eyes until they are left completely blind. Itachi lost his eyesight in just over a decade and Sasuke lost his in under a year. The difference between them is likely because of Sasuke using the Mangekyou so many times within a relatively short period.

However Obito has been using the Kamui frequently for more than half of his life and yet never showed any side-effects.

One possibility is that the Kamui doesn't cause nearly as much damage as justsu like Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi. But considering that it's one of the most powerful space-time ninjutsu in existence, the idea that it is somehow less costly than those jutsu seems implausible. Even Kakashi, who only discovered the jutsu within the last four years, lost his eyesight during the war.

The more logical scenario is that the transplants in Obito's body preserved his eyesight. They were created from the First Hokage's cells which possess incredible lifeforce and stem from the Senju Clan. They are already known to drastically reduce the cost of the Mangekyou Sharingan; Kotoamatsukami can only be used once every ten years and yet those cells reduced that limit to once or twice a day.

With the power of Hashirama's lifeforce, Obito became able to use Kamui as much as his chakra allowed without worrying about losing his eyesight or his power.

I should wait for the databook entry relevant to this first but I just can't be bothered.

Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist (Official Version)

Byakuren, the man who would become the First Mizukage, first gained his fame by forging and wielding seven powerful swords With these weapons he travelled the seas of the Land of Water and conquered all the clans he encountered until he could build the Hidden Mist.

Byakuren was already an old man by the time he became Mizukage. It earned him respect as an elderly shinobi must be a formidable one, but he knew that he needed to pass his swords on to someone worthy. As no swordsman was skilled enough to wield all seven swords like himself, Byakuren selected seven disciples from the best kenjutsu users that his country had to offer. Even those who weren't ninja turned from their lives as samurai or mercenaries to be given the chance to learn from him.

When he finally chose the seven, he taught them to each master one of the blade's that would become their inheritance.

It was during the First Great Shinobi War that they first entered the world stage. They sharpened their teeth to honor their fallen master and terrify their enemies, they were completely brutal and merciless to their enemies and their swordsmanship put even samurai to shame. By the war's end they were recognised worldwide as the infamous Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.

Just as the seven swords fell to them, it became tradition for the swords to be passed from one generation to the next as their wielders died in battle. The Swordsmen never retired from their service and were commited to only knowing a life of battle. Those who aspired to become one of the Swordsmen would sharpen their teeth themselves to symbolize their ambition and commitment to that cause.

The last generation of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen was considered to be the strongest of them all: Akebino Jinin, Kuriarare Kushimaru, Momochi Zabuza, Munashi Jinpachi, Ringo Ameyuri, Hoshigaki Kisame and Hoozuki Mangetsu.

But the power they wielded and the turbulent times of the Hidden Mist may have been the cause of the organisation's destruction as its members became missing-nin. When the Fifth Mizukage came to power and the era of the Blood Mist ended, most of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen were her adversaries.

Kisame was the first to abandon Kiri as he sought to overthrow the Land of Water's government and assassinated several daimyo but the rest soon followed in his wake. Hoozuki Mangetsu, the first to have mastered all seven swords since the First Mizukage himself, was the only exception as he chose to hunt down the rogue untold. His quest failed and the village mourned when he was defeated before he could reach the peak of his potential.

Only Hiramekarei, Mangetsu's primary weapon, remained in Kiri and it seemed that the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist had come to an end. It wasn't until the end of the Fourth Great Shinobi War that the rest of the swords were returned home.

Magnet Release (Altered Nova)

RE: The Naruversity

Magnet Release

Magnet Release is a combined nature transformation that combines wind and earth based chakra to simulate the different properties and usages of magnetic forces.

Unlike most other natures transformations, Magnet Release typically cannot be used to generate physical objects or destructive energies with which to directly attack an opponent, but rather is used to telekinetically move natural materials that do not usually fall under the domain of nature transformation ninjutsu.

There are two known major strains of the kekkei genkai that grants usage of this advanced nature, each independently evolved.

Sand Style Magnet Release

The style of Magnet Release made famous by the Kazekages of Sunagakure. The first user of this power was not actually a human, but the bijuu Shukaku. Humans did not gain this power until after the rediscovery of jinchuuriki technology; the village studied the abilities that manifested in each of Shukaku's hosts so that non-jinchuuriki could replicate them, ultimately resulting in the creation of a new kekkei genkai.

Despite the name, this style of ninjutsu only superficially resembles real magnetic force. Unlike true magnetism which can only effectively move ferromagnetic metals, the chakra fields generated by this bloodline grant direct control over any kind of metal. Due to the artificial nature of this bloodline, however, this control is not instinctive - users must learn through intense training how to attune their chakra to the unique atomic structure of each element of metal they wish to be able to manipulate. The exact limits of the bloodline are unknown, but is believed that all transition metals can fall under it's influence. Due to the difficulty of "learning" multiple metals, the unsuitability of many metals to combat usage, and the relative scarcity of most metals, most Suna Magnet Release users choose one or two common hard metals to specialize in, with iron being the most common.

Famous Sand Style Magnet Release Users:

Shukaku - The first and greatest Magnet Release user, although it's usage of Magnet Release is not widely known. It is a common misconception that Shukaku uses Earth Release alone to control it's sand, or that it has a unique "Sand Release" advanced nature. Neither of these is true - sand, being made of natural minerals, technically falls under the domain of Earth Release. However Earth nature chakra is designed to control large solid constructs and lacks the fine control necessary to effectively manipulate rocks much smaller than gravel. Instead, Shukaku uses Magnet Release chakra and Earth Release chakra simultaneously to create chakra fields that control fine particles of earth instead of metal; the effect is similar to a Kekkei Touta. This is a power only usable by Shukaku and it's jinchuuriki.

Shukaku has also developed a method of combining Magnet nature chakra with it's cursed seal markings, amplifying the binding power of it's unique sealing jutsu.

Third Kazekage - After studying the jinchuuriki of Shukaku of the time, he recreated it's sand-manipulating jutsu style by substituting iron powder using his own magnetic chakra. This fighting style came to be known as "Desert Style" Magnet Release, and is widely considered to be the most powerful form of Magnet Release ninjutsu ever created. It was for his legendary "Iron Sand" jutsu that he was noted as the strongest Kazekage in the entire history of Sunagakure.

Rasa, the Fourth Kazekage - Taking control of the Hidden Sand during a time of great economic depression due to the Wind Daimyo abandoning his nation's native shinobi village in favor of the cheaper services of Konohagakure, Rasa became the first Magnet Release user to ever successfully gain control over gold. Using this power he kept the village afloat through the export of gold, while he used the proceeds to increase the quality of his ninja through researching new jutsu and creating a more powerful jinchuuriki. Rasa mastered and refined the same "Desert Style" Magnet Release that was invented by his predecessor, and his unprecedented power and skill with Magnet Release gave him the ability to draw up gold dust from ore deposits deep within the earth, such that he could summon surprisingly large tidal waves of gold dust from seemingly nowhere. Furthermore, the heavier weight of gold dust compared to sand allowed him to even subdue Shukaku whenever it went on a rampage within his village.

Cloud Style Magnet Release

(Note: much of this section is blatantly copied from knight504's post on the Yotsuki Clan.)

The style of Magnet Release possessed by the Yotsuki Clan in the Land of Lightning. Before the Hidden Village Era, they made their home in the Valley of Clouds and Lightning for generations. The mountainous region was subject to powerful magnetic fields, and over time their chakra adapted to those magnetic fields and eventually developed into a new kekkei genkai.

Cloud Style Magnet Release differs from Sand Style in several important ways due to the fact that it simulates magnetic force more accurately. For one, the Yotsuki can only control ferromagnetic metals, although they do not need to attune to those metals through extensive training. Secondly, they can use their magnetic chakra fields to generate real non-chakra based electrical currents through the principle of electromagnetic induction, which can then be incorporated into Lightning Release ninjutsu to greatly increase their speed and power.

Famous Cloud Style Magnet Release Users:

Toroi Yotsuki - A ninja from Kumogakure who became famous during the Third Shinobi World War for his unique skill to magnetize non-ferromagnetic materials. Most of his comrades underestimated his jutsu, as it only worked on objects he could physically touch and the resulting magnetic fields were relatively weak and only lasted for a moment. But by infusing this special magnet chakra into his iron shuriken, Toroi could transfer the magnetic force to anything that subsequently touched those shuriken. Any opponent foolish enough to block his initial attack would therefore briefly become magnetized themselves and attract other magnetized shuriken, greatly increase the chances of a successful followup attack. With this deceptively deadly strategy Toroi became widely feared on the battlefield.

Reika Yotsuki (OC character) - A legendary kunoichi from the Warring States period remembered for her invincible Soujoutsu and Lightning Release ninjutsu. Reika used Magnet Release to wield six iron spears simultaneously in battle, which she enhanced with lightning chakra to increase their cutting edge. Because she didn't need to use her limbs to swing her spears, she could attack her opponents without telegraphing her intentions through body language, strike from unexpected angles and blindspots, overwhelm an opponent with sheer speed and numbers, and fight multiple enemies at once easily. She also used the spears to augment her lightning jutsu, penning in opponents to reduce their mobility so they could not dodge the thunderbolts and using the spears as lightning rods to redirect thunderbolts in mid flight to intercept a dodging opponent.

However, her most feared jutsu involved using a tightly spiraled, powerful magnetic field to create an extended coil, through which she would accelerate her spears to phenomenal speeds well beyond the sound barrier in order to impale the enemy faster than they could possibly react. It is said that she once assassinated a target by piercing through a mountain with this terrifying technique.

RE: The Naruversity

I'm not sure. I only wrote that up because your post on the Yotsuki Clan that gave an origin story for how they gained Magnet Release inspired me to come up with an origin story for Suna's version of the bloodline. And then once I was halfway through writing that up, I decided I had to explain how the hell Rasa could possibly control a non-magnetic metal with magnetic force and ended up rewriting most of it. It took me about four hours before I was satisfied with the post.

I'm glad you like my explanation for Shukaku. Ever since it was revealed that it has Magnet Release I've been unsatisfied with any theories that Shukaku's sand control is a different never-mentioned-in-any-databooks combined nature transformation, and I've also never liked the theory that it's just an advanced application of Earth Release because if that's the case we should have seen some non-jinchuuriki suna-nin using sand-based ninjutsu by now. I refuse to believe that both Rasa and Shukaku have both Magnet Release and virtually identical fighting styles, but that only one of them is using their Magnet Release to facilitate said fighting style. That would be way too implausible of a coincidence.

In the Gaara Hiden novel, it comes out Gaara has the Magnet Release and it is independent from his Sand Manipulation
There is a Steel Release, too.

RE: The Naruversity

Using my theory, that would explain what Rasa was talking about when he said that Gaara was compatible with Shukaku. Sand control is in part based upon Magnet Release, so being born with Magnet Release gave Gaara greater power and control over the sand to the point of being able to match the feats of Shukaku itself by the end of the manga. It would also explain how he incorporated his father's gold dust into his sand techniques so easily despite it's greater weight.

RE: The Naruversity

Eh, the novels say all kinds of things. It's really no different than those fillers that showed up at the end of Part 1; an official part of franchise that fills the gap between canon events with non-canon material. Hell, Seelentau, one of the DB4 translators, actually asked the author of Gaara Hiden about Steel Release on Twitter and she replied that he should ask the editorial department because she had nothing to do with the mechanics of the Narutoverse. Wouldn't trust a thing in these books at all.

Part of the reason I liked this theory because the way it's described sounds like a loophole for why Gaara isn't listed with a Kekkei Genkai even though Naruto is, and the only reason he has that is because of the Boil Release, Lava Release and Magnet Release he used with the Tailed Beasts. The comparison with Kekkei Touta is apt since it's just like how Onoki can combine fire, wind and earth to create Dust Release but can't create Lava, Scorch or Magnet Releases. Likewise Gaara could only use this fusion of Earth Release and Magnet Release for his sand.

And that reminds me, it's should be worth noting in that theory the implication that Rasa - and presumably the Third Kazekage - were blood related to some of the previous jinchuuriki based on his eye markings. I'm re-reading it now and I'm not sure if that relationship was implied or if you went a different direction with the Desert Styke's origin in non-jinchuuriki.

Juugo's Clan (Knyght)

Redrafted this now that we have everything from the Fourth Databook and I'll be doing Orochimaru's Curse Seal later on too.

Juugo's Clan (Official Version)

Once, the Tenbin Clan were a family affiliated with the Ryuuichi Cave and fought alongside the snakes as their allies and summoners. Possessing strong bodies and powerful chakra that was rumoured to be inherited from the Sage of Six Paths, several of their number in every generation would train in the art of senjutsu and become Snake Sages. They were even called Tenbin - Scales - because of the balance of energy needed to use senjutsu.

But one of their number grew too greedy for power, desiring a means of giving senjutsu to all of his clan without the dangers. He sacrificed the snakes that were meant to be his allies to unravel the secrets of senjutsu. And in the end, he did succeed.

It was a very unique and very powerful fuuinjutsu.

This fuuinjutsu absorbed natural energy and then fed it into the bearer's body, which they mix with their physical and spiritual energy to produce sage chakra. It was just like when the snakes fused their bodies with a Sage to gather natural energy in their place, removing the need for them to remain still during battle. And as a failsafe, it would protect the bearer by preventing an imbalance of energies within their bodies from transforming them into statues of stone.

Soon enough, everyone in the clan was branded with it.

However their actions earned the entire clan the hatred of the snakes that had been betrayed. The snakes turned against the Tenbin with fangs and venom and broke the contract between them. Without their connection to the snakes through that contract, their senjutsu was no longer influenced by them and took on an entirely different form. Instead of gaining the properties of snakes when they entered Sage Mode, they were horrified to discover that they would transform into entities that resembled monsters and demons.

Worst of all, the snakes used the generations of their clan's blood that had used to sign their summoning contract to cast a curse jutsu upon the entire Tenbin Clan. That curse twisted their new seal into a curse seal which corrupted their bodies and minds. It would still draw in natural energy and protect them from petrification, but now it could not be shut off and when they inevitably overdosed on nature energy they would be transformed into homicidal demons for a time. Only by becoming a Perfect Sage could a Tenbin avoid this fate, and precious few people ever achieve that level of skill with senjutsu.

This should have been the downfall of the Tenbin Clan; they had lost the source of their senjutsu knowledge, their snake jutsu and summons and now suffered from berserker rages. But the tool that doomed them was also what saved them. It held a terrible cost but was considered worth the risk and and they called this new power Sage Transformation.

It wasn't until the next generation that a key factor of the curse seal was discovered. For better or worse, it could be inherited.

Maybe because the Tenbin were descended from the Sage of Six Paths, because they had so deeply adapted to senjutsu after all this time or because of the curse itself, its power was passed down from parent to child like an artificial Kekkei Genkai. Children who hadn't started any kind of senjutsu training would absorb natural energy through the curse seal and suffer temporary bouts of insanity that could cause devastating amounts of destruction. But despite how disturbing this event was, it was soon seen as a blessing.

The Tenbin Clan started training in their branch of senjutsu from the youngest ages, something previously impossible because of the strength needed even to learn it, and they soon developed into a terrifying fighting force. Even unable to master senjutsu so quickly, their violent rampages still made them a deadly threat against enemy clans that only grew moreso with age and experience.

And this early training taught them to transform their bodies in ways that the previous generations never would have conceived, no longer bound by the serpentine form of a Snake Sage. They learned to alter the very shapes of their cells to turn their limbs into weapon, steal or transplants their own and fire destructive waves of sage chakra. They were feared as monsters in the shinobi world.

It was during the Warring States Era that the Tenbin Clan fell, their enemies joining against them in a temporary alliance to remove their threat. They were survivors but their berserker nature made hiding difficult as they were draw hatred wherever they travelled.

Today, all that's left of the clan is a single boy known as Juugo of the Scales to warn others of his true nature and of his heritage.
