RE: The Naruversity

In my theory, the five main chakra natures are not an intrinsic part of Earth Grudge Fear. Those are part of Kakuzu's derivative "Thread Minion" jutsu, which requires all the different affinity hearts he's stolen and the chakra transmitting masks he created. Plus, ya know, learning jutsu of every element to take advantage of the affinities. A normal ninja with Earth Grudge Fear would only have the combat tentacles and the ability to sew injured people back together.

I felt that the medical chakra was necessary to justify how the people Kakuzu stitches back together can immediately move around again like nothing happened. Kakuzu stitched a transplant arm and elbow on to Deidara which he was quickly able to use again in battle with no issues (he even modified the new arm to have a hand-mouth like his original arm.) Sutures alone would not explain that, he'd need an actual medical ninja to reconnect the nerves bundles, tendons and muscle tissue. Plus it enables the "pull themselves back together" pseudo-regeneration aspect which I liked a lot. The mental image of someone slicing a Taki-nin in half only to watch the bisected torso and legs pull themselves back together with threads and stand up like it was no big deal is way too awesome.

Edit: Did you know that Kakuzu has a theme song?

Oh yes, definitely, that'll be so cool! Whoever's lucky enough to master the Earth Grudge Fear would be so awesome, imagine them splitting their own guts open as a distraction (like, who does that?) and then out spills a mass of tentacles, and glomp the opponent! *squeals in the sheer awesomeness*

Plus it'll be good comedy material in fanfiction! Imagine if they were Kakuzu's actual internal organs, and like all threads that are neglected (who bothers to look at their internal organs?) they get knots and everyday or every week Kakuzu'll have to brush them out like hair.

RE: The Naruversity

It's interesting to see different interpretations of the same jutsu. Menace is currently writing a first-person Minato-centric quest called Don't Blink as another one of his projects and his most recent update includes a version of the Body Flicker Jutsu and Body Replacement Jutsu:
The body flicker technique was a mystery that had plagued me since I was old enough to augment my muscles with chakra. A D-rank ninjutsu, low on chakra cost and not particularly complex. Any chunin worth their salt could perform the advanced speed technique in a pinch, and a jounin being incapable of it was unheard of. It was the logical next step once the basic chakra exercises had been mastered.

Yet there wasn't a single scroll to be found on it. I would know. I'd scoured the Academy's library top to bottom, as useless as it was - as any shinobi institution in the business of giving away free techniques would be - and come up empty every time. I'd asked my instructors after class, asked my classmates' parents when they came to escort their children home, even queried shinobi on the street. The most I'd gotten from any of them was that there was no set way to learn it. It was one of those nebulous techniques that didn't require any handseals, and as a result there was no general way to teach it. To my frustration, all anyone could ever tell me was that I'd have a feeling for it when the time came.

As it turns out, I've had the pieces I needed to put together to get that feeling for years. I just needed the initiative to put them together.

The chakra I'd infused my muscles with, strengthening them to furthest edge of my limits, shrunk in upon itself. In the blink of an eye my chakra folded in upon itself and burst, carrying me into the kawarimi without any handseals to catalyze the transition.

The body replacement. An E-rank ninjutsu that used advanced chakra augmentation and sleight-of-hand to speed forward, grab an object, and race back to the starting position to plant that object as a dummy before escaping to safety. Masked with chakra smoke, it appeared to the untrained eye as if the user had switched instantaneously with their object of choice. True masters of the kawarimi could even obscure the replacement object with a brief illusion, masking it as themselves to lure the enemy into a false sense of security upon 'killing' them.

That was all it was, though. Sleight-of-hand. Illusion. It was not truly instantaneous. It was just a shunshin, dressed up with smoke and mirrors and handicapped by handseals. That last flaw, more than anything else, was why it was part of the Academy Three instead of the more adaptable shunshin. Because seals were easy. Anyone could shape their chakra to their fingers. Anyone could be slow.
Edit: And the latest edition of Kakuzu's Earth Grudge Fear is now on the Naruversity site.

And I've now spliced together what we had on the Yotsuki Clan and Magnet Release and posted that too.

In other news, I've been planning to bring together everything I have on the Shadow Clone Jutsu into a single article but I wanted to review what's there first and see if anything could be added or altered. I don't think we all agree on exactly how the jutsu works but discussion would still be welcome.

Shadow Clone Technique and Multiple Shadow Clone Technique
Shadow Clone Training Method
Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique and Clone Great Explosion

I won't be using that other version of the Multiple Shadow Clones we have there (which I might instead include in a separate article on how I'd change the jutsu) and I'm thinking of including Itachi's Crow Clone and Kakashi's Lightning Release Shadow Clone too.

RE: The Naruversity

The only minor detail that bugs me is about the Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique. It looks like cloning the Shuriken isn't the hard part since it looks like just having Shuriken on you would clone them when using the Kage Bunshin. I feel like the hard part would come from cloning the momentum and the speed you would need to mold the chakra and form the seals.

RE: The Naruversity

The cloning is hard, too, as the items are cloned once away by the user and their chakra.
I'm going to guess one has to charge the items with his chakra before throwing them, so there is still has a link for the cloning.

RE: The Naruversity

In my headcanon, Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique is an advanced derivative version of a more general purpose "Item Clone Technique" that can copy any old thing you can physically hold.

I imagine ninja use that jutsu for all kinds of mundane conveniences. Like cloning their dishes and silverware before meals so they can just dispel them when everyone's done eating - no need to wash up afterwards! Or cloning alcohol to get drunk and then dispelling it after the party to instantly sober up - no hangover! Or cloning toys for their kids, so the kids won't fight over them and so they don't have to worry if they get lost or broken. Or eating cloned food as a way to diet or binge on junk food with no lasting consequences - go ahead and eat that decadent german chocolate cake, all the calories will literally vanish once it reaches your stomach!

That jutsu would be extremely useful for enjoying any kind of disposable or fragile object. Most ninja villages probably had to pass laws against cloning money or trying to sell or barter with cloned goods though.

RE: The Naruversity

Hm, so I was reading over the Curse Seal entry and a thought came to me. Would it have been possible for someone to supplant Orochimaru's influence in the Curse Seal? The idea I had was from reading the descriptions of the Heaven and Earth Curse Seals. If Orochimaru had stuck a curse seal on Naruto, would it have been possible for Minato and Kushina to get rid of Orochimaru's influence and let Naruto access only the positive efffects of the seal?

RE: The Naruversity

Kushina probably couldn't do anything, but Minato is a sage so he might be able to do something about Orochimaru's senjutsu chakra inside the seal. But I doubt either of their ghosts/soul fragments/mental shadow clones could 'activate' to oppose Orochimaru. They seemed hardwired to only appear when the Kyuubi is released from it's seal.

Although I feel that even if they could stop Orochimaru's influence, that would probably have some unforeseen consequences. I mean, the cursed seal is based off of Juugo's body, and Juugo goes on uncontrollable murderous rampages all the time. Maybe Orochimaru's senjutsu chakra is the only thing keeping people with his cursed seals from doing the same thing.

Kurama's more likely to be the one to remove Orochimaru's consciousness from the cursed seal given his dislike for sharing, if such a thing is possible.

Shadow Clone Jutsu v2 (Knyght)

And bringing it all together:

Shadow Clone Jutsu (Official Version)

This is a B-rank ninjutsu that creates solid clones which are physically indistinguishable from their creator; they possess the same body, appearance, clothing, equipment and chakra.

It was invented by the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama and was based on his older brother's Wood Clone Jutsu. Said jutsu was the best of its kind; it was identical to its creator to the extent that even doujutsu couldn't see through it, it could withstand more damage than any other clones, was capable of relaying information back to the original real time and had an incredible range.

The Shadow Clone Jutsu was a means of creating a similar kind of clone that any skilled ninja could learn. In fact, shadow clones are relatively easy to create considering the jutsu's rank and only requires a single hand-seal. The reason it is considered jounin-level is entirely because of the chakra cost as it would be uncommon for someone beneath that level to be able to create and maintain a shadow clone for a long enough duration for it to be considered effective. Though some have ingeniously lowered that cost by using living creatures, such as crows, as medium of their clones so that those physical bodies serve as a foundation rather than creating the clone from chakra alone.

Truthfully, the jutsu's surprisingly simplicity is the only reason Uzumaki Naruto was able to learn the jutsu in one night as his desperate training allowed him to generate enough chakra that even he was able push enough of it into the jutsu and produce tangible clones. Said simplicity is also why knowledge of the jutsu is possess by all of the hidden villages existing today.

The jutsu uses chakra to create a physical copy of the user, divides their chakra evenly between them and the clone and then constantly provides chakra to maintain the clone’s existence. Clones are able to generate and mould chakra themselves which means they can use all the skills and jutsu that the original possesses. And even though the clones are formed from chakra, they have been transformed into impermanent matter that so closely resembles real flesh and blood that the differences are impossible to detect. But while the clones possess the same personality and will as the creator, they are ultimately subservient to him and acknowledge him as the original. They share a link with their creator who maintains their existence as the chakra that composes them is finite. It allows him to dispel them, control them non-verbally and maintain a constant awareness of their existence.

Generally, a shadow clone will dispel when struck with a solid blow. But how much damage a shadow clone can survive can depend on the strength of their will and how skillfully the clone was created as masters of the jutsu can create clones that can even withstand multiple stab wounds without succumbing to their destruction. However a lethal blow can only be delayed and guarantees the clone's end. And the clones grow weaker in proportion to however many exist because chakra is divided between them all.

When a clone is dispelled, the chakra that had been divided between them is returned to the original and any existing clones so that their chakra remains evenly distributed. This chakra carries the memories of everything the clone experienced, allowing the original to remember whatever the clone had done as if they had done it themselves. This effect was intended for tricky intelligence gathering such as traversing dangerous terrain and infiltrating enemy territory, allowing the original to collect information from elsewhere without being physically present.

Naruto remained unaware of the memory recall for years as he used his shadow clones almost exclusively for combat purposes, causing all of their experiences to resemble one another and were unconsciously pushed aside in favour of focusing on present events. It wasn't until he was given a situation where he was consciously made aware of the memories that he realised what had been happening all thise time. The unobtrusiveness of the recalled memories is especially true when a clone is killed in action as the experience of their death is muted as a self-defence mechanism to prevent the original's mind from being overwhelmed.

Sometimes the user will possess a seal which is cloned as well, but whatever is sealed inside is not as it exists within a separate space. If creator has a storage scroll containing a single kunai and they create a shadow clone, the clone can use their copied storage scroll to remove the kunai. But if the creator attempts to do the same afterwards, they will not be able to retrieve anything because there was only one kunai. This is especially true of Jinchuuriki who experience a unique phenonemon where their clones possess a copy of the seal as the original that houses the Tailed Beast; they can communicate with and draw upon the chakra of their Tailed Beast and vice versa because they are all connected to the spiritual plane it resides in.

Training Method

It is possible to accelerate one's training by taking advantage of the shadow clone's memory transfer ability. By having them perform the same training as the original and then dispelling, the original has their own experience combined with the clone's so that they gain twice the amount in half the time. With one clone, something that takes twenty years to learn could be done in ten. With a thousand clones, it could be done in a week.

Hatake Kakashi was in fact the first to come up with this training idea, specifically with Naruto in mind.

Originally, the closest thing to training that was ever done with the Shadow Clone Jutsu was to use it as a sparring partner or having the clone reading something to send the information back to the original. Because shadow clones divide the caster's chakra in half and require chakra to maintain their existence, it is a costly jutsu. The original and clone would then use up more chakra from their training which could easily cause chakra exhaustion or even death. On top of that, the accumulation of all that experience has an impact on the original's mind as they suffer the mental stress of possessing extra hours' or days' worth of memories at the same time that can render them unconscious, if not comatose.

This means that the amount of time spent training is far more limited than usual yet even more exhausting.

Most ninja use shadow clones are sparingly and briefly enough that they wouldn't consider the deeper implications of its abilities. And because it's a jounin-level jutsu, most who learn it are already at a level that they likely wouldn't need such an intense training method in the first place.

But Naruto had been using shadow clones since they day he became a ninja as a preteen while most would first learn it until early adulthood at the soonest. He used it far more than anyone else and to much greater effect than anyone else while possessing an immense, ever-growing chakra reserves and equally remarkably recovery which meant that he could create more clones and maintain them for far longer without the threat of exhaustion.

This is truly a training method meant only for Naruto.

Related Jutsu

Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu - This A-rank forbidden ninjutsu is, in truth, fundamentally the same as the Shadow Clone Jutsu. It uses the same hand-seal to produce the same effect so anyone who knows one jutsu automatically knows the other. The reason that it is officially listed as a separate jutsu is to serve as a warning. Most jutsu can be divided into ones that are inherently dangerous to the caster or ones that aren't but shadow clones are an exception It isn't difficult to safely use several clones yet it is easy to create more clones than the original can manage, causing death by chakra exhaustion. Only those with truly great chakra reserves can meaningful use shadow clones on a huge scale without harming themselves. Thus First Hokage recorded this jutsu in the Scroll of Seals which anyone who learned the Shadow Clone Jutsu was meant to read as well. Ironically, Naruto did this backwards by learning from the record of the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu first and thus missed important information about shadow clones such as its memory recall that weren't considered necessary to add to this version.

Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu - Invented by Sarutobi Hiruzen, this A-rank ninjutsu combines ninja tools with ninjutsu to multiply the number of shuriken that the user has thrown at the target, each imbued with their chakra, allowing it to increase from one up to a thousand with its use. This removes the need for prior preparation and because the shadow clones are real and not illusions, all the cloned blades are equally lethal. It is more advanced than the Shadow Clone Jutsu because it is significantly more difficult to clone a material object separate from the user in mid-flight along with its speed and momentum, despite needing far less chakra. The jutsu isn't restricted to just shuriken but as the most common throwing implements used by ninja, the name stuck.

Clone Great Explosion - This A-rank ninjutsu allows the user to make their shadow clone detonate in a violent explosion. It destabilises the shadow clone's form as if it had taken a lethal blow, causing it dispel. But instead of just bursting into smoke, the jutsu uses the chakra composing its body to amplify the effect and release a violent explosion. The jutsu can only be used with the Shadow Clone Jutsu. The shadow clones cannot make themselves or each other explode, only their creator can which makes it dangerous, and potentially wasteful, to use when the clone is not within their sight. The detonation also has the unfortunate side-effect of disrupt the memory function so their experiences and anything they have learned is destroyed with their body.

Lightning Release Shadow Clone Jutsu – This is merely one kind of elemental Shadow Clone Jutsu which creates the shadow clone using lightning chakra instead of regular chakra. The A-rank ninjutsu functions exactly like the standard shadow clone until it is dispelled where it releases a powerful burst of electricity capable of paralysing any opponent. But this comes at the cost of being unable to transfer any of its chakra back to the caster because of the elementally recomposed state of its chakra. It is an effective weapon but comes with a heavy cost. And while it has not been witnessed yet, combining such a jutsu with the Clone Great Explosion would make a truly devastating attack.

Bunpuku, the First Jinchuuriki of the One-Tailed Raccoon Shukaku

As the first jinchuuriki of Shukaku, Bunpuku had a flawed prototype seal. Whenever he fell he asleep he would be plagued by nightmares, his mind slowly eaten away by Shukaku's influence. After several failed attempts to weaponize him that resulted in Shukaku being released and enormous casualties being suffered to recontain him, it was also discovered that Bunpuku simply could not control Shukaku's power at all without completely losing control. He was deemed too dangerous to allow freedom and locked in a cage under constant surveillance. The village experimented on him with the goals of replicating his powers in other shinobi and of building a better seal for the next jinchuuriki.

Bunpuku himself felt guilty for all the people who died when he failed to control Shukaku so he didn't object to his treatment. He turned to religion as a coping mechanism for his isolation, using meditation to maintain his sanity despite his inability to sleep. With no one else to talk to, he tried to understand Shukaku and eventually came to see the bijuu not as a beast, but as a person with actual reasons for his hatred and anger that he could sympathize with. He eventually came to consider Shukaku to be his friend. While Shukaku never truly did reciprocate that feeling, he did respect his host, even comparing him to his father-figure, the Sage of Six Paths. That respect dampered Shukaku's overwhelming hatred for humanity, leading to his eventual redemption and befriending by his newest host, Gaara.

Today I learned that Magnet Release's chakra natures are probably based on magnetite which is formed by: 3 molecules of iron (earth) and 4 oxygen (wind) = Fe3O4

Might have been something I heard before but it'll probably stick with me now. Only reason I dug that up was because someone decided to argue about me stating that Magnet Release is wind and earth when it 'should' be earth and lightning because wind and earth make Sand Release. You'd think that'd be one of the least radical statements in that article. ;)

Jashinism (Knyght)

Knyght

The Collector
Jashinism (Official Version)

Jashinism is a religion that was born in the wake of the death and destruction inflicted by many wars fought in the shinobi world. It is built upon the fundamental belief that an evil god is the root cause of war and seeks an end to all life by stimulating the hearts of mankind to destroy each other.

This evil god is known as Jashin, meaning "wicked heart". Originally he was a character that first existed within several other religions as a figure of absolute evil, reflecting all of the worst aspects of humanity. He may not have been well-known among the general populace but monks of every nation learns of him and hates him.

But some monks would instead grow to worship Jashin instead and hold him up as an example they should follow. This wasn't because they interpreted him as something other than evil but because they believed that said evil was simply the way of the world. They were the few who only paid lip service to their vows without believing in the good they preach, instead feeling darker desires more keenly than their brethren. So they broke off from the convents and chose to venerate Jashin as one who represents what the world truly is and what it will be.

"Thou shalt kill thy neighbour."

The Way of Jashin is to believe in killing all living things and that every kill is a prayer and sacrifice to their god. It was inevitable that the cult would become a home to the cruelest and most depraved of individuals. The cultists kept the monasteries and actions hidden away from the spotlight, operating in remote locations to avoid attention. Nevertheless they would draw in the worst of society who shared their lust for killing, regardless of whether they could fight or wield chakra already. And unlike the ninsou who would never wield weapons, Jashinists gladly arm themselves with whatever cruelly made weapons they can find or forge.

And yet it was a religion that followed strict philosophical guidelines as if to contrast the heinous nature of its beliefs.

The Jashinists utilizes a style of ninjutsu based on the ninshu practiced by shinobi priests, the art of connecting one's spirit with another through their chakra. By ingesting the blood of another, they can use it as an intermediary to cause a malignant effect on another person. The blood provides a connection between the caster and the victim so that their chakra is able to affect the target regardless of distance. By ingesting the victim's blood and creating a boundary line made from their own, they can unleash a variety of effects upon the target's body.

They used this to share all sensations of pain and pleasure between themselves and with their victims. It was a practice that corrupted their minds as they practiced self-mutilation, torture and genocide as acts of worship.

The Jashinists' beliefs spurred them to invent immortality jutsu so they could abuse that power to its utmost without dying and revel in ecstasy of murder on the battlefield. The cult used the bodies of believers in forbidden jutsu rituals and one particular believer, Hidan, was rewarded with it for his many massacres in Jashin's name. Hidan was the first success of the experiments and the most devout believer.

The Nameless Mangekyou Sharingan Space-Time Doujutsu/ The Nature of the Mangekyou: Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Kotoakamatsui, Kamui and Kagatsuchi (thecuiy)

RE: The Naruversity

So this is an idea I've been cooking up for a fic I might do in a week or so. It branches off an entry I read on tvtropes a while back. If anyone has something they want to add, fix or make more clear, please do so.

The Nameless Mangekyou Sharingan Space-Time Doujutsu

Once one achieves an ascendant Sharingan, a new jutsu is made available to the wielder, separate from the techniques granted to them by their personal Mangekyou Sharingan. Through sheer training of the eye, one can see and utilize rifts in the space-time barrier to achieve a form of teleportation. However, this technique places great strain upon the eye. Only Uchiha Shin, Uchiha Obito and Hatake Kakashi were ever able to make practical use of this technique. Uchiha Shin because of the multiple Sharingan he implanted within himself, and Obito and Kakashi because of the unique nature of Obito's Mangekyou Sharingan.

The Nature of the Mangekyou: Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Kotoakamatsui, Kamui and Kagatsuchi.

When an Uchiha experiences great loss, a great and terrible power blossoms in their eyes. The power, their chakra becomes a reflection of their troubled state of being.

Torn between loyalty to his village and loyalty to his clan, Uchiha Itachi was blessed with two opposing powers. The sun and the moon, Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi.

His brother, Uchiha Sasuke, on the other hand received only the Amaterasu, representative of the aimless hatred that burned deep within him. After taking control of his hatred and molding it into purpose, he would develop the Kagatsuchi, a means to shape the hate fueled flames of his Amaterasu.

Uchiha Obito would develop a Mangekyou Sharingan like none other, a result of his trauma and the manipulations of Madara. Enraptured by the false promises of the Mugen Tsukuyomi, Obito's Mangekyou would take the form of Kamui, a completely separate dimension where Obito could run away and hide from the harsh truths of reality. Not only that, but Obito could supplement the unnamed Mangekyou Space-Time jutsu using his Kamui, allowing him to leap between the outside world and his personal dimension with little strain on his eye.

Uchiha Shisui's past is shrouded in unknown, however what is known about Danzo's ROOT training hints at the origin of his Kotoakamatsui. In ROOT, two children are raised as siblings until the day they come of age. Then, they are forced to do combat, killing their emotions to become the perfect tool. As Shisui was forced to kill his surrogate sibling, his Mangekyou manifested in the form of Kotoakamatsui, a genjutsu without peer that allows him to dominate any target within his field of vision. Much like how he became a tool, a weapon for the village, his Mangekyou granted him the ability to turn others into his tools, bending them to his whims.

RE: The Naruversity

It's an interesting theory, but it honestly doesn't make a lot of logical sense. You are basically postulating that the Mangekyou Sharingan is powered by metaphor. You could justify literally any power for any Uchiha as long as you can thematically link it to their personality/worldview with some creative poetry.

I highly doubt that Shisui went through that whole "kill your surrogate brother" training. The root agents have to be trained by Danzou from a very young age for it to be effective, and the purpose of that training was to create emotionless soldiers loyal only to Danzou. The Uchiha would never have allowed Danzou to essentially raise and also brainwash one of their own like that. Most likely Danzou didn't implement that training regime until after Root was officially disbanded, using orphans recruited from war torn foreign nations. Older Root members like Shisui and Torune and Fu were probably given more conventional training methods.  (According to Narutopedia, episode 317 apparently confirms that Root agents recruited personally by Danzou from Konoha ninja clans are not required to kill their teammates as part of their training.)

I like the idea that all Mangekyou Sharingan can potentially use time-space ninjutsu and that Obito's real Mangekyou jutsu was the personal dimension / intangibility. It could explain why Madara was apparently famous for his time-space ninjutsu despite never using one in the manga. Perhaps he also could use that generic sharingan teleportation jutsu that Shin and Obito had mastered. He just never needed it after being revived in the war because he was immortal as a zombie and after being resurrected the Rinnegan was superior.

I could have sworn there were a couple of occasions where someone stated that "Obito" must be Madara because no one else had space-time ninjutsu that powerful... but now the closest thing I can find to that is this page where Minato seems to consider Obito's time-space ninjutsu as just one factor among many that leads him to the conclusion that he must be fighting Madara Uchiha.

I guess "Madara is famous for his time-space ninjutsu" is just a weird fanon I somehow got into my head. Sorry.

RE: The Naruversity

Yeah, Shin's time-space ninjutsu really doesn't make any sense in canon. It's appearance and function is extremely similar to kamui, except that it seems to connect his own right Sharingan with one of his weird sharingan mini-juubi spying creature instead of another dimension, and apparently requires those weird sharingan spying creatures to work. (his escape failed when Sarada killed the spying creature.) It's also very inconsistent on whether it's one of his unique Mangekyou jutsu or not - it always focuses on Shin's right eye when he uses it just like a mangekyou jutsu would (one power per eye), but he also uses the telekinesis power with that same eye and none of his younger clones who have the same eyes as him ever perform the time-space jutsu. And sometimes the Sharingan involved in the time-space rift shift into their mangekyou form while opening it, and sometimes they don't.

RE: The Naruversity

About Shin's Sharingan
First, I remember reading there were some art corrections in the volumes compared to the magazine chapters.
Second, Original Shin's Mangekyo only shows the telekinetic power. The Space-time technique appears to be exclusive of Minibi's Sharingan: only in the second-to-last chapter Shin appears to use it. And he stops after Minibi dies.

My guess:
Original Shin's eye-power is telekinesis.
Mini-bi's is space-time teleportation.
Thanks to the chakra rods in his eye, Shin can see through\comman Mini-bi, and channel its space-time technique on himself. I'm betting doing it it's chakra-intensive and very limited in volume or mass he can transport, basically just an escape system.
