What's so bad about this one? I'll tell you (and I really should have stopped right after reading the author's note).
OK! I wanted to make this story because I read these all the time and I think there cool. Ron!Bashing (Ron same place that Draco had over Trio, Now not a trio..lol, yes RanmaxRyoga in later books!, Draco has Ron's place. Ranma is the girl who lived.)
There's someone called Nadoka Saotome. An OC? I've never heard of a Nadoka Saotome before.
The story is boring. The author simply copy/pasted the first chapter of the novel and replaced the names of the main characters with the Ranma (and forgot to do it twice). It's really easy to see the difference in writing quality between the author's own writings and the original text.
McGonagall calls Dumbledore 'Dumbledore' all the time. That's really annoying since I remember her always calling him by his first name in the books.
The Dursleys have been replaced by Soun, his wife and Akane and the three have exactly the same personalities as the Dursleys.
Ranma somehow got changed into a girl when Voldie tried to kill him with no reason given so far.
The author has announced that this will be a Ranma/Ryoga story (as if there weren't already enough of those at ff.net).
No explanation given as to why the Tendos and Saotomes would be living in England. Soun has a dojo and is the director of the Grunnings company. Why would he have a dojo if he's exactly like Vernon? I doubt that a dojo would fit into the Dursley's perfect world.
Then there's the passage where the wizards are whispering about the Potters in the book. This time they are whispering about the Saotomes and their son Ranma, and apparently Soun thinks that Saotome is a common name (in England? I really doubt it).
Conclusion: don't read it.
